Extruder: Orbiter 2
Excellent quality at speed. That’s what I like to see. ASA is nice to print high speed!
nice part cooling duct
insane quality for the speed!
Insane!
Can you share how you keep the print stuck to the bed and prevent deformation due to cooling?
Thanks. I am using a decent Quality PEI Springsteelplate from LDO with the Bed at 110C and a Nevermore for Circulation with Filtering and heating of the Chamber Air. I let the Bed and the Printer heatsoak until the Chamber is close to 60C.The ASA from 3Djake has a Low tendency to warp and in a Hot Chamber almost none even with alot of Airflow as long as it is Hot Air. For the First Layer I use .25LH and 120% Extruison like Andrew from ellis3dp.com recommends.
Check out the Celeritas
Looks like a nice Setup! I have also started Development on a CrossGantry Printer focused on high printing Speed, stay tuned for Updates on that.
what are you doing to get so high chamber temps mine is at most 55 with 120 bed
I have put some insulation on both sides, top and back. I am running a Nevermore under the Bed and put heatsinks and fans on the XY Motors. The Active Motor cooling using fans contributes a lot to the overall chamber Tmp.
Ender 3 have also asame capabilities
When it comes to speed yes, but I have jet to see an Ender 3 with a 350mm x 350mm x 300mm Heated 60+C chamber.
how are you achieving these speeds?
Its mostly the very light "Mantis" Toolhead in combination with LDO Speedy Power Motors (LDO 42STH48-2504AH) running at 24V 2A for X and Y.
nice! i start skipping steps around 400 mm/s, but I haven’t tried upgrading the motors yet. Thanks!
is it only me, or does the stepper motors sound like skipping steps ?
Minor step losses might be occuring as I am scraping at the limit of this setup, but the printed model functions as intended.
@@VaporizationEnt nice,im also planing to mage the zerog upgrade to an ender 5plus,i was thinking to use those stepper motors that have rotation sensors on them. In any case nice setup 😁🤜🤛
@@62arts Cool, hopefully closed-loop 3D printing systems will become more common in the future, that would be great.
