Un primo esperimento di creazione di una soundtrack originalecreata per l'Indie Film Music Contest. ho cercato di ricreare il clima e gli stati d'animo richiesti partendo dal video completamente muto.
Ho iniziato a suonare direttamente sulle scene che stavo guardando una traccia orchestrale, e ho pensato che non ci fossero troppe cose da aggiungere, ho semplicemente duplicato la prima traccia su un synth e ho enfatizzato le frequenze più basse con un altro sintetizzatore. Poi ho aggiunto qualche altro suono a sincrono qua e là. Spari. Ho pensato che gli spari potevano essere la vera chiave di questa colonna sonora. Puoi sentire i colpi in lontananza e il protagonista ci si avvicina lentamente. A 01:26 ho voluto tenere in considerazione la velocità del suono, ecco perché lo sparo non è a sincrono con il lampo, chi spara è a circa 200 metri dalla scena. Quando il protagonista si ferma davanti all'edificio e offre le sue provviste alla donna alla finestra la musica si ferma e si sente un altro colpo. Il nostro eroe torna a casa senza provviste, forse gli è costato, ma non gli pesa e la musica invoca speranza.
An experiment of creating an original soundtrack created for the Indie Film Music Contest. I tried to recreate the required climate and moods starting from the completely silent video.

I started playing directly on the scenes that I was watching an orchestral track, and I instantly thought the there weren’t too many things to add, I just duplicate the first track on a synth and emphasized the lower frequencies on another synth. Then I added a few more synchronous sounds here and there. Shots. I think that shots could be the real key on this soundtrack. You can hear the shots from far and our hero is approaching to them and at the end he is save (maybe he knows that there are no risks for him …)
At 01:26 I wanted to consider the speed of sound, that is why the shot is not synchronized with the flash, the man who shoot is around 200 meters far from the scene. When the protagonist stop in front of the building and offer his supplies to the woman at the window the music stops and you can hear another shot. Our hero come home without any supplies he maybe feels ok and the music become quite hopeful.
