I did the same thing last night to wear for work today and I loved it. It spices up the look because straight hair gets boring after a while.

This came out beautiful! I straighten my hair every two weeks and I feel that I sacrifice doing a lot of styles because I think my hair won’t last for the time that I want it to. I have to get out of that way of thinking. Thanks for sharing! You need to start doing some makeup videos!
Dianne Saint Don’t be silly! These types of styles usually help my hair last longer because I put them up with oil to keep it moisturized.

What I like to do for texture on my straightened hair is put about four braids and rub about half a pump of mouse into each braid once I'm done. It gives a similar look to this but with larger waves.

It turned out great! Wish I thought of this when I got my hair silk pressed. After 16 days I was over it and I just washed it out. But this is a great way to bring volume back to your hair and change up the look of it without totally getting rid of the flat irons effects. Thanks for sharing ♡ God bless

Gosh Ebony, such Beautiful Hair!!! Love the different styles, but my favorite is the 1st one.
I use this method on my boyfriends hair. He has a really kinky texture so it's straighten after washing and deep conditioning. Braid it up. Let it dry. Straighten it. Then apply a leave it. It prevents knotting.

Braid outs rarely work well on my straightened hair because my hair is so layered. So I do big Bantu knots! Love the MJ shirt btw. I have the same one 💜

I literally did this last week on my straight hair….I only did one big braid with a inch or two of the ends straight not braided…no product…the waves were cute & lasted a couple of days….its back regular straight now lol I’m on Day 38 of straight hair. I use the Mielle rosemary mint oil as well.
