How does the submitter know he's getting the same box he sent in to be CT scanned? What's to stop the scanner from keeping the box with the big hit and sending back a dud? An honor system? For people who scan boxes and packs to see what's inside? Ohhh-kay.
The Astros were known for cheating in 2017 and the early part of the 2018 season, but Kyle Tucker didn't play for the Astros until July 7, 2018. And he wasn't a full time player until 2020 (28 games in 2018, 22 games in 2019). It's possible he had little to no involvement in the cheating. But your point still may be valid since since perception can have more of an impact on card prices than reality.
The article didn't have any new info that WE didn't know but it now put it in a bigger spotlight out there for people that didn't know this existed. Put more eyes on it.
3:36 how do these companies not have a PR person who can handle an inquiry from a big time outlet like the NYT? It is confounding given how much the hobby has grown.
people buying Bryce Young is nuts - dude has 3 career games over 250 yards, 1 more TD than INT, and just had 4 turnovers yesterday to single-handedly lose the game.
I like CT scanning. Gambling is the worst thing about the hobby and I hope it gets regulated out of existence. CT scanning is a good way to spoil the gambling aspect without waiting for government regulation
One of the most ignorant posts I’ve seen in comments sections. So folks ct scanning either open the box, or pass the crappy box along for either sale or a break? That’s fraud imo. Still not sure how prevalent this is, but there’s no point opening or participating in flawless or other high dollar box purchases or breaks.
Not ignorant at all. Totally agree. I keep watching the prices increasing forcing people to gamble through breaks and watch people get destroyed financially by people who clearly have issues. Is it fraud? Yeah, but it's just another form of fraud within this hobby.
@ degenerates will still continue buying breaks but have NO chance of hitting anything. I don’t participate in all this new box crap, but that is not a solution. That’s justifying fraud

You submit in a tamper proof bag
Kyle Tucker is a beast and keeps getting better. So undervalued.
Tucker wasn't a part of the Astros championship team. But you are 100 percent right. His numbers are really good.
This Sapphire is a good product to get into. 💪💪
The card companies silence on CT scanning speaks volumes.

those cost money. They have been running skeleton crews for years because the cards do all the work.
Looking at Kyle Tucker signed cards,, that man has signed in every product known to man.
Shocked you were able to get the sapphire boxes. I was on there instantly and still couldn’t get any. They were $379 per box
Between Box scanning and repacks, Fanatics & Panini (for the time being) has their work cut out
Worst part about listing on eBay from the vault is that you are not able to get PSA offers on those cards
HGA with the Leonardo DiCaprio Wolf of Wall Street speech
the boxes on the secondary market that are "cheaper" than retail are probably scanned lol
Do you wish you would’ve kept your Baker Flawless RPA?
They should be forced to release a product list monthly

Theres 211 bowman draft left on fanatics for whoever really wants them.
What’s the trick for that?
25:50 "The rest of the 2018 class, no one really cares about.." Wait, what?
