OMG! What a wonderful line 'half-truths and beautiful lies ' I think that the setting is intriguing and hopefully it will come out here in the states. Good queer representation is hard to find and I'm so happy to share in your joy! ☺️💜
I'm so happy you like it :') thank you so much!! ;A; It will! It will be available an an ebook and a print book and hopefully an audio book as well from all the places people usually get their book from ^^ but I'll keep you updated! It sure is, especially in the way I enjoy it the most. Thank you so much for all the kind words!
I agree, I LOVED that line! I'm so looking forward to reading this book!

Jackie actually IS doing the audio book:') she's the perfect voice for the book imo and is so good at reading and voice acting! We'll hopefully start the process of recording it this spring^^ thank you so much for your kind words ❤️
RIGHT!? That voice over for the trailer was so wonderful!
@@WivesVsWorld OMG really!?!? That's so awesome! I don't even have the words for how wonderful that is! 💞💞

You have no idea how happy this made me!! Thank you so much for saying that 🥲❤️ I'm always so nervous poeple won't understand the setting choice, so that truly means a lot to me ❤️
@@WivesVsWorld Of course! I don't see a lot of queer fiction like this. I'm already very curious about the story!
🥰🥰🥰🥲 know that you've warmed my heart immensely with your words!!! ❤️
Hi! I stumbled upon your channel recently in a miracle of a chance. Being a queer cis woman in what was once a long term straight-cis relationship(now trans-cis/lesbian), I've found a ton of solace, peace, and affirming joy in watching the two of you! So much of what was once confusion, and I have to admit, mourning and grief, has turned to excitement for the future. I'm navigating things with my girlfriend and her identity slowly but surely, and I think we're getting the hang of our new-ish dynamic a little more. I was so, so, so proud of her handling her first shot well as I administered it to her(we are both EXTREMELY averse to needles, haha), and as the days move forward, I find myself coming back to these videos the two of you have made together. I can only dream she and I make it so far as the both of you have! I wish the very best for you forever and always, and I just wanted to say thank you for the inspiration and comfort I've found from my discovery of your channel. :)
Congratulations! That is such great news! I loved that trailer! And I'm I get more excited to read this book every time I hear you talk about it. I love love love when a queer story isn't just about being queer. Those can be so hard to find. And that part of the experience is, and always will be important. Bu more and more I'm finding myself really enjoying stories (books or shows) where the queer parts aren't the thing that causes the conflict in the story. It's just there, and that's how it is, now here's the story. Also, Jackie!!! omg girl! you narrated an entire book!? Don't minimize that accomplishment either! That's no small thing! That's actually really really amazing too! You two are creating such a beautiful story as you live your lives 💖💖
And I love your smaller videos too. I still really liked the tiktok recommendations, or talk about the books you're reading, what video games you're playing, take little quizzes together, anything! You two are always interesting, and just so in love that it glows, and so perfect together that even just those little things make us smile.
First at all, congratulations for your book!! 2nd Anya your look today is modern female gladiator!! and Jackie....an intellectual business girl!!! both of you rock!!
I'm so happy for you Anya!! Have you thought about doing a book tour and where you would like to travel for it?
Congratulations, your officially an author!! Now you can start on book 2.
I'm so excited for you, Anya! That's a huge accomplishment. I hope that I will have time to read your book when it is published. Finding time for pleasure reading in graduate school is really hard, as I'm sure you know. Knowing that your book is a queer love story written by a queer person who clearly understands the importance of consent, communication, and healthy relationships is what really sells it. I'm always so disappointed when I pick up a romance novel and it lacks all of those key concepts, and it's really a turn off when the characters are clearly shoved together for the purposes of queerbaiting and there's no chemistry between them. Your book has Jackie's approval though so I'm sure that the romace won't disappoint.
Did you go for trad- or self-publishing? And what country will it be published in? (Since I assume you wrote it in english) Would you be willing to tell a bit about the publishing process you've been through. 🥰
I'm going the indie route and I'm self-publishing it! I had a brief run with querying but realised quickly that wasn't the right path for this book. (You can read much more about this process on my website under "newsletters") I would absolutely love to talk more about all of this. Thank you so much for the suggestion, I have added it as a future video idea 🥰 And it will be available to order as a print book and ebook through all the usual book-buying sites (so everywhere in the world). But I'll give an update on that when I know all the details ^^ ❤️
@@WivesVsWorld Self-publishing is really great if you want to control the entire process, I have heard. I hope it'll be a smooth publishing for you. It sounds really cool. I would definitely to hear more about self-publishing since I myself am trying getting published traditionally (in Denmark), so I have no idea, how it actually works doing it all yourself 😄
Yeah exactly! And the American Market is so different from the Danish one. With a very niche genre like this, it seems like the best choice right now ^^ self-publishing still feels pretty looked down in Denmark imo and if I wrote in Danish, I would go for trad-publishing as well tbh. Oooh I wish you luck!! What kind of book/books are you writing? 👀
@@WivesVsWorld Yeah, I definitely got that impression. Yeah, different approaches might be better for different authors. ☺ I've written the first book in a YA fantasy trilogy with a focus on queerness and mental health. While I'm waiting for another reply from a publisher, I've started on an altogether different project, that'll be a new adult soft sci fi dystopian type. I've planned it as a standalone and it'll focus on a heist 😆
@@nickyschou4343 Ooohhh that sounds so cool! I hope you'll succeed so I can read them! The Danish market truly needs more titles like those!
Hurrah Anya book, and Anya hair! I hope someday I can read it
I really admire you, girls. I also have a transwoman & cis woman relationship. But I know so little!. Can you recommend some reading to guide me about queer relationship?
