Brisbane was not a city before European settlement and thus should not have an Aboriginal name. Full stop, end of story, no discussion needed.

The meaning of “indigenous” in scientific work implies that a species was native to a country eg. kangaroos koalas these species evolved in Australia over millions of years, the Aboriginals didn’t , they migrated here just like all other humans , so should not be called indigenous
