That hole reminds me of when we had a house with voles in the yard. They're nasty-looking little creatures. We're in PA, so I'm not sure if you see them in the south. We had lots of deer too. I'm not sure they dig holes but they loved to eat my plants.

I think I’m going to give a garden a go next spring, I’ll probably will have to fence it off bc of deer. 🦌
I think since there's not a perch birds may not live in the gourd so if you put a perch some how,they might live in there.
