4d to 6d always looks much neater when the side rail extensions are true Ford steel welded . I wonder did they ever get an engine cover pressed ? That item always looks rubbish when made up out of two. I was very lucky to have the first class Agricultural engineer D Price&Son of Oakle Street Gloustershire converted my 4 cylinder Roadless to 6 but extending the Selene axel fwd, unlike indeed Roadless own Ploughmaster, Of course there was some sacrifice on the turning circle,but with extended propshaft a much more handsome machine, power steering also a must!
Yes Thames trader which has an Aliminium sump unlike the agricultural 4 version which had a very posh and tough Axel A stay pin affair made into it. I am sure how Roadless got over this with their Ploughmaster 6?
