Fifijoy Holo Magic City Miniature Build

Wow, check out that detail!
I took a break from building book nooks to assemble this 3D set from Fifijoy called the Holo Magic City. The pictures led me to believe it was going to be full of detail, and that was the truth!
From the magic shop to the little inn across the alley, every piece adds something special. I love the tiny bedroom and bathroom, complete with a miniature bathtub. The clear viewing window on the back corner adds to the fun.
I would not call this a beginners build. If you’re brand new to building miniature sets, it does take some patience to work through all of the tiny pieces that need assembling. And I would definitely recommend having a utility knife handy for helping to remove the thinner wood pieces.
You’ll also need a very tiny screwdriver for assemble as well as tweezers for hard to reach places.
Oh, and scissors. Be prepared to cut a lot of paper. There is one smaller sheet of stickers, and the rest is all paper that needs to be cut and glued. The roofing pieces require glueing as well.
I used multiple kinds of glue, but a silicone base and my standard B-7000 were good for most of it. For the dust cover, I used an alcohol based glue. Be prepared to sit patiently waiting for each piece to dry before moving on to the next.
I LOVE that it came with a dust cover. After spending so many hours working on this, I would not want to deal with keeping dust out of every tiny nook and crevice.
I enjoyed the challenge of completing this set and highly recommend it for anyone who enjoys miniature builds. It looks fantastic on my bookshelf!
