- Donald Trump's news conferences can be chaotic affairs.
But this was by far the most chaotic.
With more than 23,608 people in the US losing their lives to COVID-19, the President used his daily task force briefing to play a video to the media of 'experts' praising how he'd tackled the pandemic.
One television network described Trump's performance as "the biggest meltdown from a US president" they'd ever seen.

I listened to the whole 2.5hr speech which included his staff speeches including ....... a 'black' man. (but Trumps a Waysist!?!?) and the Q&A session and he handled it really well, especially when he spoke of the decision to allow people back to work being the most difficult of his life. Any naysayers are just clouded by 'orange man bad' syndrome to actually listen openly.

He was being attacked very unfairly and responded more civilly than most in the same situation would have. We're not the same internet users we were in 2012. Less populous than China, India. I agree that the scale is misleading but it's only getting started in US. Spain and Italy had a higher rate than others due to ageing populations (Italy) and big clusters of retirees (Spain is a popular destination for many British retirees).
