Editions is a wardrobe from the ALAÏA archives that comprises a permanent offer accompanied by a selection linked to the seasonal collection. These pieces have been respectfully recreated by the ateliers according to their original designs and reflect Mr. Alaïa’s inimitable approach to beauty, his sense of sensuality and his flawless technique. Inside each garment, the label will indicate the season and year - a tribute to the past, renewed in the present.

I will never forget when I first saw Alaia"s clothing in Elle circa 1987-88? I took the pages from that magazine, and that started the fascination, as a young fashion design student at the time. Fast forward to 1993, while working in Soho N.Y., I met first Azzedine Alaia, and got his autograph, and the next week I met Jean-Paul Gaultier, both very nice and gracious. Mr. Gaultier drew a sketch of Madonna in the cone bra. Memories that hold a certain magic.Thank you.
