We all have so many sample packs but projects give us tools to use in our productions :) I love project files to help learn and manipulate and control in future projects, just purchased it thanks mate.
I would strongly suggest using OTT when doing the glitch sound resampling techiniques, both for your ears and so you could hear the audio chop better, you can turn it off for resampling after picking
It''s not possible to follow the techniques at this pace. Edit: I find it very difficult to follow. I'm new to Live, being a life-long Reason user. I'm here because I feckin love Max Cooper's music. Your end result is top notch.
Its clearly not meant to be copied 1:1 and that is fine, its probably better. A video like this can never really speak to all skill levels. The idea's and techniques to get this sound are present. They are great techniques regardless. Cooper doesn't necessarily make his music exactly like this, but some of these techniques are likely in the ballpark as the end result speaks for itself. You can view these methods like the digital or 'in the box' way to achieve a similar sound. You probably don't want to sound exactly like Max Cooper anyway. Cooper has done interviews where he gives insights. Its a lot of analogue synth experimentation with distortion pedals as a source.
Adobe Premiere Pro. But I also edit video in Ableton.. the overall process is scrappy as hell!!!! I quite like to make things look rough rather than slick or "AI genrated"!!
Reverse engineering and analyzing techniques is all good but then using the artist name to sell sample packs is just lame. And shows a total lack of understanding the creative process. Reproducing a sound is easy when the process to get there is already done. You read a book after it has been written and pretend you now have the skills of a writer. The process is always internal and individual. Lets not forget. Techniques are great to analyse , be inspired by and merge into your own. But don't waste your time on trying to be someone you are not. Copy/pasting will just move you away from the possible path. Sample packs are a illusion. They bring profits to false prophets.
Unreal breakdown in terms of detail and skill.
Your ability to extract these techniques by ear is impressive
Just got into his music, so this was perfect timing to help me step up my game. Thanks a million. Update: Perpetual Motion sounds spot on. 👏🏾

What software is this?
A kaytranada style tutorial would be great, he has a new album coming out
To be fair...Julien Earle's several videos on Kaytranada do take some beating, Tom! Probably your best shout while you are waiting for my take on it!
oh my god
hey what editing software do you use to make your videos??

What would Max Cooper have to say to this?
Does anyone know diva patch name used at 13:11 ?
Slow down mate, this feels incredibly rushed at some parts ... as usual, great breakdown though
Yeah second that. Incredible tutorial, a bit too fast though
