Beautiful to Watch. I'm Rwandese and I'm glad that our brothers and sisters in the states are considering returning to the motherland.... Y'all welcome back home 🤗🤗🤗🤗
Thank you for that message of welcome!
Rwanda is not the only country where yo can start a senior life. Come to my Island in Indian Ocean. It's not well organised like Rwanda but you will find your way . With your skills and english language, you can teach young people, you will be part of our tribe.
Thanks sis..it's been a long time coming but we are coming home.
@@irisroyal2764 what's your country ? Of course there are a lot countries suitable for senior life on the continent
I am so happy to see our African Americans families are enjoying the motherland. Peace and blessing from Sudan
Rwanda am coming 2021, my goal has always been to spend the rest of my life in Africa or another place other than America, I have seen enough during my stay and it's a easy choice to move. Peace or debt, stress, hate. I choose peace.
A wise choice, John. Will come down there too before I get gray and wrinkled in frigid weather here lol.
I would love to visit Rwanda.
Thank you sooo much for this info
Bless you!!
You will not get complete peace, there is tribalism in Africa and it looks a lot like racism.
@@Shirleyowens383 am from East Africa, I understand the problems of the continent.
*Teddy Riley is currently in Rwanda and is looking at buying a house there as well as investing in business out there. Salute to all African Americans reconnecting with the motherland.*
I am a senior and this interview has opened my eyes to options tremendously. Thank you.
I will be returning to Rwanda after I retire. We will be purchasing more land and start building our new house 2-3 years before retirement. You guys are doing some excellent videos. Keep it up
This type of content is sooo needed. You're serving the entire diaspora. Thank you very much.
It makes me happy when I see African Americans coming back home
She seems like a really nice lady. I hope she continues to have a good life and good health. She kept her mouth covered to not spread germs to others in the room, sadly she was breathing in the air from others that aren't masked to keep her from exposure. With her age and health, she needs to not be exposed to potential covid carriers that may have accidentally caught it and have no symptoms. I wish her the best. And I wish you guys the best too.
This was a great interview. Ms. Linds's apartment is charming and her view is worth a million dollars! Keep up the great work that you're doing to help other expats Unapologetic Nomads.
I owned a home nursing company for 20 years and have been in many, many senior apartments. This is by far the best I have ever seen. The basic components are the same: living room; kitchen; bathroom; and bedroom. But in the US, the apartments open to an interior hallway and there are no balconies. The fact that she has so much outdoor light and space available to her is great! I believe this is helpful to one's physical and mental health. And I'm so glad to hear that we can get Netflix and Amazon Prime over there!
💯
I understand that point exactly, Debra. I have seen my share of uncomfortable access to elders homes, private and public housing, in New York doing house calls for ultrasound studies recently. What she has is much better as you described it.
Africans in general are generous.
100%
I agree, however, AmeriKKKanized Africans have lost part of that gene.
I was Uber driver in wa seatle and I picked African American retire and on the way we have conversations and I ask him what he told me he is retire and I ask him how much is cost his mortgage his house because it was nice neighborhood after he pays everything including his monthly food and everything he told me he spends $5,000 US dollars and I told him do you ever consider to visit Africa he said he never thought about it ok what if I told you if you go to visit rwanda you will have very beautiful life and also less spending and also you can help you knowledge to African youth I told please visit africa you will be amazed he told nobody told me that ever and I never thought about it but you put something in my mind I want tell you something if you’re African American retired either you were Blumber or doctor mechanical engineering nurse it tech pharmacist whatever you professional you were doing before you retire please bring you knowledge to mother land you will be amazed and appreciate what you have done you life and you will be touch a lot of people mind and heart what’s the purpose for life if you not happy I don’t care how famous you’re and how much money you have if you’re black in America I live here 25 years and I am not rich and fame and hundred time I am sure we feel same way
Great comment. I hear you loud and clear.
I grew up in Seattle, Wa

@@abdirahmanibrahim4443, I'm also a retiree researching where to repatriate, so far I'm sold on Kigali, especially because I love the leadership of Paul Kagame, the best leader on the Continent.
@@REALMVPS that’s great news do you mind if I ask you what was your job before I am also moving there at February
That is home and where we belong!
Rwanda, you are winning 😍😍😍!
I smiled throughout this entire video. Congratulations 🎊 Sista on your new journey. I’m so excited for everyone making it out of here. Stay Blessed to all of you.

Yes, I caught another live, good afternoon family from Guyana
Lynda is lovely woman and her testament about Mother Africa is going to inspire many in the diaspora to come home to Africa.
Very nice welcome to you motherland we love you all sisters and brothers
This lady is a vibe 🤩
I’m 48 and single. That’s enough for me to start out, shoot!
Will you start a business?
@@SuperTruthful yes.
That's great Erikka. Keep up with that idea. Don't give up!
Lovely content, full of positivity. Always happy when plans work out. I salute you President Kigali!
I really enjoyed this video. Now, that's pure love when we meet up in the motherland. I will be there when I retire. Thank you Ms. Linda for the interview.
Wait no until you retire, do it now
@@cantech8125 I want to come now, but I need my retirement money to live off of
@@cantech8125 she is not coming to Africa. She is just a troll. You should see her comments in other channels about Africa.
@@goldenheart751 the best advice go now if you are still young, generate your own money, do a simple business and enjoy life. There is no life after retirement. I know we were trained to work for someone but not for ourselves.
You all make me want to come to Rwanda right now. I am happy to see her so happy and excited to be in her new place. Thanks for sharing. 😊
This channel gets better & better & better. Family you are doing great work for us still trapped here in the divided snakes wanting to repatriate to Africa & doing it as a family ! ✊🏿Salute to the U.N. Family 👍🏿👍🏿👏🏿
With 350$ you can get a 4 bedroom house in Kigali, with its 9"own compound, and get a permanent cleaner for 50-80$, that's a very small apartment.
That sound interesting may I have some details information please ? I’m in France I would love to visit Rwanda 🇷🇼 .
No body can permanent clean maybe u meant $50 monthly
Rwanda & Swaziland is definitely on my list
I am happy that seniors of color from the US of A are adjusting to life in Rwanda. Africa, land of blessings! The warmth, fresh food, lakes, clean environment etc.I am coming soon from New York.
Senior of "color", she is African period.
@@kate1143 Aren't we all?
@@tundealawal4398 as a fellow African may I make it clear to you, there's no such thing like "seniors of colour" you sound like the colonisers who brought division amongst us as Africans. This new breed of Africans will not subscribe to a decaying colonial MINDSET, bcos we now live in a time and season of Know THYSELF. Hence, be mindful bcos we are working towards eradicating the legacy of SLAVERY from our beautiful Motherland AFRICA which will enable African Americans, African Diasporans and continental Africans live peacefully as ONE and DEFEND our continent for generations to come. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
@@EstherAivinhenyi Balderdash. Saying that they are of color is not meant as a derogatory thing or point of division among the different groups you alluded to. Why you find that offensive is difficult for me to comprehend. In the US, where I live, it is a preferred term than being called a nigger. But suit yourself if being called a nigger tickles your fancy.
@@EstherAivinhenyi You need to back off. You totally misunderstood.
Yaas, because of what some people do as a livelihood, the WiFi can be a determining factor. Thanks for always sharing such wonderful content family.
Soooo proud of the Diaspora! Courage to go means so much! Beautiful video yall!
I would love an update on this delightful lady. I hope she found her permanent paradise.
It genuinely feels so good to see our African American brothers and sisters come to settle in Rwandan....We the people of Rwanda love and support u and see u as one of us
$350 a month including WiFi 💯💯💯

@Giselle Moore hey Giselle‼️
Omg!!!
They actually cheated her she was supposed to get more than that.
@@ntwarishami cheated her
Really clean out and inside. The view and the clouds the beautiful sky. She is a wonderful person. She has a youtube channel?
Hi Evelyn, my UA-cam channel isn't about living in Rwanda, it's old and based off my books, however you can follow me on my FB page, Lynda's East Africa Relocation & Investment Tours and Twitter under Lynda's Tours. 🤗
You made a very good choice to move to Rwanda, I'm retired from the diaspora 🇯🇲 and living in Europe. Since I became a senior I used most of my time travelling to many countries mainly in Asia, but next year I would like to visit several countries in west and east Africa but will definately visit Rwanda, Kenya, Tanzania, Very interesting interview but I'm interesting also in health care, if there is a health insurance that you can pay into if you decide to relocate permanently. The lady said she lived in Jamaica,🇯🇲 so that's good to hear, just wondering if she's Jamaican born like me. Nuff Respect
I don’t believe she is because she worked for an airline & that’s why she would go to Jamaica...I am unsure, but the context says no!
Jamains, such as yourself are a very PROUD people. She’s American, I forget which state.
😂...she looks happy! I can’t wait to come.
You folks are really doing a service.
Thank you so much for this interview. Sister Lynda is awesome. I'm 62 and planning to leave the U.S. in the next two years. This is so inspirational and the information is great. Peace.
I love this apartment building, And the views are so beautiful. It looks so peaceful there I love it!
Ms. Lynda you made my day , blessings to you always , I’m retired looking into Rowanda 🥰
You are welcome home, Rwanda will definitely treat you right
You’re welcome in your new home Rwanda happy to see you overthere
i can help you settle in africa yes swahili land
What a sweet lady. It's great to see this perspective from a senior. Thanks for posting and sharing!
Bless you Ms. Lynda! I've always been the Nomad in my family and My family thinks that I'm crazy to retire in Africa. But, I dont care. I'm coming. I'm well traveled, lived in Africa years ago and had always planned to retire in Africa. So thank you for being a pioneer!
Rwanda is really nice and seems easier to settle into than the countries in west Africa. Maybe diasporaians should give east African countries a chance the ones where there's no political protests going on right now. I'm considering it. Really nice and clean.
Give yourself a chance but don’t think you are giving Rwanda a chance... they are good people though , very welcoming when you need help and a very positive atmosphere in people... I agree its a great country, safe and I don’t see how people cannot be happy in it
Lynda, reach out to me. I'm a Realtor in Seattle with ties to Atlanta and Macon, GA. I know of Boomers and Gen Xers looking at the Continent. Rwanda is a jewel!!! Thank you Woda Maya and African Tigress for sharing Rwanda with us. Thank you Nomads, for sharing this Sister with us.
Please check Madagascar , an Island not far from Africa. Boomers can come home and invest their skills to the youth. We are welcome.
So happy to see seniors finding their place abroad. Blessings to her!
You are welcome to Rwanda. You made the best choice
That’s my beautiful country 🇷🇼🇷🇼🇷🇼💕💕!
I absolutely enjoyed watching this video. And I appreciated you sharing your conversation with Miss Linda with us. Thank you so much for the post. Blessings and peace.
Another positive, uplifting video showcasing the beautiful life in Rwanda.
The sky and the weather alone is so calming
Thanks to Ms. Linda for sharing valuable information. Always a grateful appreciation to Unapologetic Nomads for seeking out and providing facts/details to help those wanting to repatriate or visit. Your channel is so useful to so many. Continued Blessings to you.
I love the view. We are from The Motherland so we are coming home. Rwanda is beautiful. Tanzania's President is a True Pan-Africanist so I would love to visit that country also. Sooooo happy for you, Sis! You can plant some herbs on your veranda
This video was so incredibly helpful, thank you!!!
I love the videos I have seen of Rwanda. I was thinking about visiting Ghana. I will still visit there, but changed my mind about moving there after hearing the U.S. will build a military base there. I most definitely am going to check out Rwanda.
I am in love with this opportunity. I want to go home. When I visit I’m going to find the senior and the nomads. I love yall
Great Video Fam. I've been in Kenya for a month and I'm still waking up saying, "I'm in Africa!"

Yes, most definitely!
Love this wonderful country
Those birds your guardians angels checking up on you 😁
The place looks lovely. I'm glad the lady found where she fits in. I would request she does not tell people not to go to Nigeria as it is a country of 36 different states and I find many people try to put people off going there, especially if they have never been or have just gone to Lagos. No Black person should be talking down on or discouraging visits to ANY African nation. There are people in Nigeria living their best lives even though there are challenges. Rwanda once had even worse challenges actually.
We want to visit Nigeria in the future.
@@Unmad
And you would be welcomed well.
@William Lee Moye I think the problems are way beyond the current president. It's more the upper political class/system that have been in leadership deliberately since independence. In the past the issue was also the followership but Nigerians are going through a shift now, so I expect a new Nigeria in the not so distant future. We can defo take some pointers from Rwanda to that end. Especially in imagining a new nation and building it.
@@sylviasworld9397 We will let you know when we come visit. We love so many things about Nigeria.
Nigeria has the richest people in Africa who lives there so it can't be that bad.. so many billionaires and multi millionaire who are nigerians live there.. also Nigeria is almost as big as Texas. So just don't go to elpaso or san Antonio and thinks its all of texas. Treat nigeria the same way.
