so many people are forgetting that Anne Frank's diary *wasn't actually meant to be a best-selling book.* it was *the personal diary of a teenage girl* and that's why there's more personal stuff in it. people really grasping at straws here
And the “ballpoint pen theory” conveniently omits that the only parts written by a ballpoint pen are editors notes and page numbers
Some say media literacy is dying, but it seems regular literacy is getting there first
a diary being written... like a diary, how strange 🤦♂
A diary written while hiding from the nazis to avoid being killed!
And the book I read in high school didn't have any of the stuff about adult activities. I think our teacher told us that it had a lot of stuff omitted because Ann's father didn't want some of the more personal things to be included
Also a lot of the original content was cut out of the first edition. Like Anne Frank having sexual feelings for another girl. Her father loved her. But didn't want her story to be overshadowed by the fact she wasn't straight, and be further demonized by bigoted people.
"destroyed his bloodline" yes, everyone knows when you have a baby that doesn't look exactly like you its blood just disappears into the lifestream never to be seen again
DNA goes poof when the gene pool isn't in your tribe :(
Keeping a bloodline "pure" already caused a lot of issues in royalty. Why don't people learn that, sooner or later, the gene pool is to small going on like this and leads to so many issues.
I dont get why people care so much about bloodlines in the modern day anyways. I just cannot fathom any reason to give a shit about whether someone's genes matches my own, like how does that affect me??☠️
Those children will always be 50% you, so if that nonsense made any logical sense (oh nooo, our people are dying out!!111!!!) they'd advocate for (insert race here) people to make as many children as possible no matter who the other parent is.
Also, why does the "you are ruining your bloodline" always come up with the hottest couples imaginable? That bloodline is obviously doing fine.
And it's always the most attractive couples too. Like sure buddy, that bloodline suffered.
Also, if it was just about YOUR PEOPLE FACE EXTINCTION, wouldn't any partner do? They'll always be 50% you...
fun fact: holocaust denial is a crime in germany
In France too !

Technically it is enforced but you really have to work hard to end up in jail for it.
Mostly you will just be seen as an idiot/extremist.
Also stating different numbers or otherwise altering the official story is also considered denying.

Your blood line is just as diluted no matter how much your decendants look like you.
Unless you keep marrying your relatives.
Thus, genetic purity is once again proven a myth.

And the Hapsburgs (as well as... pretty much every royal line in europe) can point to why that is a terrible thing to do to your lineage.

As a Jewish person, am I supposed to be insulted by the Borzoi comparison? Borzois are the fucking BEST
Another reason for a bunch of the dogs they used, especially in the 17:35 meme, is also because of where they come from. Chihuahuas come from mexico and central america... So yeah, that's a bit racist.
I love the long nose dog
It's ironic since Borzoïs are Russians.
They are shooting a bullet at their Traditional Christian Conservatist friends with that one
Is THAT what long dogs are called?
Funny thing is, unless you have clothes that bleed or are trying to lighten things, you can mix lights/darks without issue depending on your wash cycle and detergent, so... laundry thoughts don't track.
Not to mention, colour-fasted and/or pre-washed clothes are pretty common nowadays, so in most cases people don't really need to worry about mixing clothes.
Yeah, I've literally never bothered to separate them and I've never noticed a difference. It was always so weird to me

then she realized I was serious and changed her mind. she learned how to be better and accepted me, and I slowly started trusting her again. now, she hasn't misgendered me in years and our bond is stronger than ever.
refusing to accept your kids won't make your kids stop being themselves, it'll just make them cut all ties with you.
I'm glad she came around eventually. It's always nice to see people learning to be more accepting.
Kinda the same thing happened to me. "mom i'm pan. i'm a girl". "Hahaha you're too young to know"

slight correction at 14:47, gray wolves aren't actually extinct. in america, we did try to make them go extinct by hunting them a ton with dogs, leaving out poisoned carcasses for them to eat, traps, etc which unfortunately mostly worked. but then scientists realized that destroying a whole species was terrible for the environment, so they brought some wolves from canada to yellowstone national park, and now they're slowly recovering. i'd highly recommend reading about the yellowstone wolf project, i just wrote a whole paper on it for class and it's a super interesting topic

How do people not know that!!!!!
"6 million (blank) in my oven" is holocaust denial.
i've seen pizzas and cookies used.
I didn’t read the paper, but I watched the anthropomorphic wolf movie loosely based on this event that awoke a significant portion of the furries in my generation. Great movie! Slightly confusing at the time 😭
Edit: also the “6 million pizzas” thing is referring to a talking point of Holocaust denial. Pizza is a stand in for Jews and how there “weren’t enough ovens” to kill 6 million people. Quite an old form of Holocaust denial.

If it's so easy to "convert" someone to the gay side, then why does it take an entire conversion camp program to "convert" them back??
they treat anyone non-straight as "mentally sick", combine with impressionable young minds, and half the world yaps about how their kids "choose" to be not straight as a protest.
some view the conversion program as a way to cure the sick, other as a punishment for the brats.
Never in their life these people will consider that, perhaps, one can't choose who they love, nor this can be changed without causing severe mental trauma and undermining the family bonds or whatever
tl;dr people prefer blissful ignorance of others' experience
They base it on the fact the the percentage is going up in younger generations.
They think that by targeting children asap you can influence sex/gender.
Both sides have dum dums that believe that. Yes, yes there are lgtbq+ teachers that are trying to “brainwash” and destroy straight kids.
It is way more complicated than both sides understand. Scientists are trying to find out why it really is happening.
The homophobic people are just really bad at the sexuality manipulation magic! That’s why they are scared of it! >:D
A lot of really rabid homophobes are themselves closeted. They experience homoerotic feelings as an overpowering temptation that they must constantly fight against, and assume it's like that for all straight people. It doesn't occur to them that a straight person might be fully aware of what homosexuality is and be like "Yeah, that's cool, just not my thing."
*100% THIS*
6:52 Anne Frank's dad died years ago, the only reason he published his youngest daughter's diary was because she always told him that when she grew up she wanted to become a writer and write a book about her experience in the secret annex where she and her family went into hiding. He edit most stuff out of it of things he found people shouldn't know about his daughter (like her discovering her own body and that she was attracted by a very close girlfriend of her)
The book is just a father granting a wish to his deceased daughter

My youngest is transgender. I am convinced that the majority of anti-trans things are made by people who have never knowingly talked to a transgender person, or a supportive parent of a transgender child.
There's a lot of it from transphobic parents who have, to put it mildly, suboptimal responses to their children coming out
@@bosstowndynamics5488 yea... I experienced it without even coming out, I was outted lmao
In a good few cases, yeah, like my mom is quite supportive of me being trans, and one day a co-worker of hers asked why she "enables me" and supports me, which she gave an answer the guy would see reason in when presented, that being "I'd rather have a kid who's alive and happy with who she is, rather than one who's dead because she wasn't allowed to be herself", and the guy to my knowledge never brought it up again, just said "oh yeah" and moved on from the subject.
Unfortunately many of them are unsupportive parents of trans kids. Of course my spawn points deny being transphobic, because apparently you can't be transphobic towards someone who isn't trans. 🤦 As if telling a trans person they aren't trans isn't transphobic.
Completely, their experience of people is generally from the internet.
"Why don't you ever read books to at nursing homes, or to the homeless or to the sick and needy? Why is it only the little kids?"
Because little kids like having books read to them while adults don't. Adults usually use audiobooks for that, and in the case of the homeless, reading a book to them is just a pure nothingburger of an activism. Simply put: Children like being read to, not adults.
old people hate everything too

I've thought on this a lot some years back and I think the answer is actually simple: they see only the discrete labels, not the complex reality.
The reality is attraction is a continuum. You can be really straight and still see something that you'd say is a maybe.
They don't see the world this way though. There is straight and there is not straight. In their minds every weird intrusive thought bubbling out of the monkey sphere makes them all the way gay. And they believe that despite all that they've chosen to be straight.
And that's the mindset in a nutshell: in their minds heterosexuality is something incredibly fragile that you need to consciously choose to hold onto every time Henry Cavill flexes at the camera.
That also covers why they think being gay is a choice. In their minds it's a choice they make every time they get an awkward boner watching HBO, and any time it happens they could just make the other choice.

Why are these incels so damn creepy, like the "Every woman is impregnated with your semen", whoever wrote that buttons thing clearly didn't mind the idea of impregnating their own family (mom, grandma if she's alive, aunts etc) and hopefully he defines "woman" as adult women, because if he means "everyone who has a womb", that would include a bit over a dozen million children, because keep in mind it doesn't specify fertile woman, so even sterile women (such as ones who had their womb removed due to cancer) would be pregnant

At a certain point, I think everyone who panics about maintaining "ancestral lineage" and "genetic purity" should be limited to hooking up with their own parents. Even siblings might be too much genetic diversity, depending on where genetic crossover happened.

Fun Fact: the typical modern image of Jesus as light-skinned with blue eyes, blond hair, etc. first started with paintings by Leonardo DaVinci. His model was Gian Giacomo Caprotti, his apprentice and possible lover. So, that picture of Jesus in basically every church in America is probably based on DaVinci's gay boyfriend.
I love that his lover's name was basically Gigi.

It's not proven actually
I don't mind for that to be true, it would've been funny, but I want facts and not some rumors without proofs.
The image itself is also subject to change throughout historical representations, you'll find somewhat similar ones depending on the time and place, a popular thing to do is switch mary and Jesus skin and hair color based on the people's own, that's why you'll often find darker skinned jesus, blond jesus and so on. You can find short haired no bearded versions of jesus in the Roman empire and beared long haired ones near the middle east that are both very old. It's interesting.

"This flag divides, this flag unites" the entire point of the rainbow flag is unity between people who have been oppressed for who they are. LGBT, women, POCs, kinky folk, etc. Compared to the confederate flag which is made by a culture focused around racism and fought to keep people in slavery
The 1979 6 colour Rainbow flag is my favourite for a couple of reasons.
First, the colours represent things like life, spirituality, nature, etc. Can't get more universal than that.
Second, the 6 colour revision is great from a vexalogical perspective, because it represents the idea of a rainbow which has all the colours, with only 6. It's symbolic.
@@TevelDrinkwaterI agree with you. The new flags don’t look bad but they kind of ruin the point of the original 6 colors.
The Confederate flag represented the states that wanted to secede from the Union. Synonyms for secede are breakaway from and separate. So it's not a symbol of unity at all😂

The biggest issue with the "mommy i think I'm a boy" "well you're not. And that was the end of that" comic is that bigots think it actually works like that. That if their child comes out as gay or trans that saying "nuh-uh" or "i'll hate you if thats true" will turn them straight or cis. If anything it means your kid will learn in that moment to never be honest with you ever again, or trust you with anything sensitive about their identity again. Then, as soon as they're an adult and are able, they'll cut contact with you and go live the life they want to live ideally, or worse, end their lives because they know you failed them as a parent and will never support or love them. You don't 'cure' being LGBT at all, ESPECIALLY not through cruelty or denial. All you do is inform your LGBT children that they will never be loved or accepted by you.
Exactly. My father is super homophobic, but it hasn't made me any less gay. Im still super gay, I just don't talk to him about anything because I don't trust him anymore. And when I get the chance, I'm cutting contact.
They literally just want gay and trans people dee eee ayy dee. That's all there is to it.
The reason they think it works like that is because they think that no one can be actually trans. And therefore anyone who thinks they are trans must have been fooled or manipulated or pushed into it somehow. Which means that all that is needed is a fervent denial to "stop" the child from "becoming trans". (In reality this means, of course, as you said, that they are betraying their child's trust and revealing themselves to be an inherently unsafe person, so their child will never talk to them about anything important ever again.)
It also means they believe that every trans person is not actually trans and will eventually, inevitably, regret their transition, which is why they keep harping on about long term studies and no long term study will ever be long term enough for them as long as it finds that trans people are still happy with their transition. And it's why they also believe that transitioning itself is the source of trans people's unhappiness, instead of things like lack of support and the increased weight of bigotry resulting from becoming visibly trans.
Yep. Can confirm, it in fact did not work like that even after years of heavy self-scrutiny to the point of suspicion of every small action. All these people do is ensure more future work opportunities for nursing homes.
Yes. It was the end of the kid ever wanting to discuss their issues with their parents.

The dog memes are especially funny because pitbulls are often aggressive because they are adopted by people who want an aggressive dog, and you can imagine that people who want aggressive dogs will not treat said dogs with very much love.
And that can be why small dogs are aggressive. It's 'cute' when they attack.🙄
Besides, there were socioeconomic reasons for humans to breed dogs meant to be more aggressive than average.
They are also called "pit bulls" and "bulldogs" because they were bred for bull baiting. People used to bet on dog fights (and still do but illegally). Sometimes they'd also have a dog fight a bull or bear.
Dog fighting was banned in England in 1835, so maybe it's time to come up with a nicer name and people would treat them better.
Pit Bulls are adorable and I feel so so sorry for how often they get abused and neglected, Met a very friendly Baby one once she was precious
While yes how you raise a dog HEAVILY influences its aggression. The problem with pitbulls is the heavy inbreeding done earlier that led to severe neurological defects. This caused essentially a doggo version of Alheimerz, so your beloved pooch who was always just a big cuddly monster, would suddenly turn highly aggressive and not even recognize their owner.
More responsible breeding practices today is why pitbulls are becoming safer lovable dogs. This same problem has been present in other dog breeds that were overly inbred, but pitbulls are the most talked about given the force of their bite, and the exaggerated curve of their canines which leads to a far more devastating bite even in play over that of a German Sheppard or a Golden Retriever (two other breeds who once had the same common neurological condition from excessive inbreeding)
As a mixed kid I literally never have these problems. They are just making things up to be mad about.

They prefer ignorance
Yep. If you push those people it seems like they very much understand what "woke" means. They just don't like it and can't openly admit to become nobody likes bigots
True, but social justice was co-opted from the start to be a cope for a bunch of narcissists who wanted to pretend their lack of fulfillment was caused by society rather than being caused by their own failure to sort our their emotional state.
There are injustices, they merit being addressed, and the people currently "addressing" those injustices utterly refuse to handle the possibility that people (either on an individual or collective level) may be exacerbating their own problems through either ignorance or a warped sense of pride.
That's why social justice is a negative term. Not because correcting discrimination is negative (it isn't), but because the people "correcting" discrimination do so by exacerbating everything the "other side" does, ignoring anything "our side" does, and discriminating twice as hard against the "other side". Thereby completely failing to address any part of systemic bias that may be caused by individuals (representing a demographic) being selfish inconsiderate pricks.

@@youtubecomments2740 Social Justice has been used as a term of disparagement by people who despise equality and love discrimination, be it for being poor or for being of the wrong gender or skin colour, for being overweight, for not being clasically beautiful or handsome etc.
It’s the same as labelling things you dislike as “communist”, or little children calling each other “gay” as an insult. Neither understand the word and neither grasp the concept. Public streets are practical communism: they belong to the community and are cared for by the community in form of the local authorities - compare and contrast to toll roads.
The USSR and Communist China were/are totalitarian states and are communist the same way the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea is democratic, or a titmouse is a well-endowed female rodent, or the NSDAP was socialist.
It is however fun to watch right-wing snowflakes melting down over bathrooms but, despite claiming to be pro-life, not over children being killed by gun violence or unsecured weapons.
That is because “pro-life” is the self-chosen and totally misleading name for forced-birthers.
Social Justice is something you are aware of and want when you are woke.
6:41 The diary one pisses me off so much, because it was a diary, never intended to be read by anyone else than Anne. It was not written to be a book, it was the only thing she, in a horrible time, shared her most vulnerable and intimate moments with.
I hate those people who have the opinion like the dude who made the meme.
Also, excuse my english, but I am german, and that is probably too why I have such strong opinions about this.
Anne heard over the radio that the Allies were asking for people to document the Nazi occupation, so she began revising her diary for publication. What her father published *_WAS_* at least in part intended to be seen.
I just saw that scene and wtf.
I'd say thats pretty good English
Your English seems excellent but I'm German too, so what do I know? I mostly have problems with commas.😎
@@desperadox7565Die meisten Amerikaner haben auch Probleme mit commas.
And commas are important, as they prevent cannibalism:
"Let's eat, kids."
vs.
"Let's eat kids."
How do people make these memes essentially hating on cute little puppies and not feel like Disney villains?
I'm sure other people pointed it out, but that's definitely not Japanese clothing.
We need to tap the Habsburg sign. King Charles II was so inbred his autopsy read "heart was the size of a peppercorn; his lungs corroded; his intestines rotten and gangrenous; he had a single testicle, black as coal, and his head was full of water."
You forgot the best quote
"He repeatedly baffled Christendom by continuing to live"
Yeah, like, who the heck would want to try it again

This is one of my special interests now. I'm trying to compile a whole family tree.
8:09 Most western physical representations of Jesus Christ can be traced back to a da Vinci painting in which da Vinci used his boyfriend as the model for Jesus.
Yeah also the highlight of Israeli just screams antisemitism
Are you sure about that? I thought it was Rodrigo Borgia using his son Cesare. But if DaVinci had a secret boyfriend..I'm here for the tea lol
@@babyramses5066 I looked it up, it is a theory and the case in Roman churches (according to Google don't bind me to this fact)
I thought it was michael angelo who had the boyfriend jesus

I love that it's all gay ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I'll do some googling rq brb
The one with the confederate flag is funny because, did the US not divide and have a civil war over it?
