It is one of those songs that no matter what Korean show you're watching, no matter the age group the show caters to - this song starts, everybody knows the lyrics and everyone knows the dance. The members of 2PM are slowly returning from their military service, and even if they start producing music again, this might well be the song that defines them in history. Good choice. 2PM is the JYP Entertainment group that introduced me to GOT7. This music video was entirely shot in my home country of Singapore. I can tell you where every single location is in every scene in this video. I kid you not. It opens at the Singapore Flyer, looking out onto the Marina Bay city skyline. The plane scene shows the inside of a Singapore Airlines (SIA) flight n you can see the stewardess is dressed in the iconic Singapore Girl batik uniform worn by most SIA stewardesses. The yacht they are partying on is at Sentosa Cove. The Lambo scene was at the F1 Pit where the annual night-time F1 street race is held. The club scene was a mix of a yacht club (I forgot the name of it) & the old Zouk (it's one of the most famous nightspots here, this is the Jiak Kim Street location, but it has since moved to a newer location at Clarke Quay). You watched the shorter version of the video. You can see more Singapore scenes in the extended version. 2PM is awesome BTW, they hv really gd music too. "Hands Up" was such a big hit for them & is one of the most iconic kpop songs of its time. Taecyon is Korean American. He is also a famous Korean actor. I used to watch weekly Korean music shows and seen their stage performances frequently when Hulu and Dramafever were showing SBS Inkigayo. When that dropped I could only watch it on Viki but didn't have paid subscription to keep up. I have watched many of Taecyon's dramas. He does detective type and some ghost dramas. He is a good actor. I kinda lost track of their music. I would have to look back to see my diary logging all the Inkigayo shows I watched listing all the performances, the songs, artists and their billboard rating....also my personal ratings, excellent, good, bad or no comment. I seen them all from 2009 to about 2012 then when my favorite Korean dramas and music shows weren't as accessible I no longer kept in the loop. I can get some music shows on UA-cam but can't track it like I used to. I really like Taecyon. The others I am slower to remember. I know I used to look forward to seeing them perform.
Oh yeah, I was still watching Inkigayo weekly when BTS debuted in 2013 so I was into keeping my eye on all of Kpop longer then that. Too much water under the bridge....I don't have perfect recall of the timeline but I will look at my documents to get it right. I even researched the entertainment companies and everyone that were members of those companies. So many new groups debuted. I tracked them for awhile. There needs to be a kpop history and artist encyclopedia. I thought about putting one together but haven't kept on top in recent years.

I even researched the entertainment companies and everyone that were members of those companies. So many new groups debuted. I tracked them for awhile. There needs to be a kpop history and artist encyclopedia. I thought about putting one together but haven't kept on top in recent years.
