thanks for this information. I did not realise that the actual factory had burnt and I wish they would be back the orchid and the golden Orriel as I so want a golden Oriel wakasashi. I also need a blade to fit the fittings as I had to leave the blade back in Malaysia, they would not let me bring it back to the UK
It is very thin light blade. However, it had a floor in it after polishing it. It was not perfect.

This was interesting! I own a Wind and Thunder Katana, a Momo no saru (peach monkey) Katana, a Tea culture Katana, Musashi Katana with leather ito and 29" blade and a Shinto katana with bo-hi. All older swords now. I can't find any info on the Momo no saru. I know its folded k120 powder steel with a nice clay temper. A pleasing Hamon too.

Awesome. If I may, the deity on tsuba on the W&T wakizashi is actually Fujin. Raijin is on the katana tsuba. 🙇♂️

Sori is normally the curve of the blade only, not including the tang.
E Bay no longer allow sharp blades in the UK. I was gutted when I came back from Malaysia after eight years, realising I could not do my hobby anymore collecting Blades. I had to leave 11 of them out there. Well I sold them. The UK sucks for all the regulations, because of what stupid other people do to do it for others who respect things and have responsibility. Jujitsu coach. Great years ago now too many regulations I’ve made this country, so soft
