Does anybody else feel like when you OR an enemy turns a corner, that your enemy gets to see you for a solid second before you see them? Like, you’re pre-aiming a corner, a enemy runs around it, you get 3 shots on them or so, but they still manage to kill you, & it leaves you to wonder/question how the hell they came around the corner pre-firing at you, only to go to the death cam & realize that they got to see you for a solid full second more than you got to see them?
I love that the semi auto pistols finally can kill in 2 shots without headshots. In the past pistols in cod were practically useless, now they're a reliable fallback when you're running out of ammo

Fennec has been pretty solid for me once you got the extended mag and allow yourself to hip fire at very short range ,you just delete anyone infront of you
Bro I got a certain build for it it’s insane ads time and has zero recoil and it’s the fennec so it doesn’t care about what gun the enemy has cuz it’s the fennec. It’s always been my favorite gun in all cod in MW2019 it was so perfect. Best game I ever had was with it and I went 157-33
Agree with number 1, it’s the only gun I fully levelled and carried on using not even noticing I fully levelled it, as I was enjoying using it to much.
For starter players, the Hunter default class is pretty decent to play leveling up. If you get it to weapon level 15 just by using that gun early on, you can unlock the Vaznev 9k before level 23, and the Minibak at weapon level 18 and maxing out the Vaznev.

My favorite so far is one I've gotten the funniest reaction out of on kills. The JOKR. On Ground War and Invasion, the Snipers do my head in. And roof campers in general. I launch this puppy up and they don't see it coming. Especially if there is a few up there holding hands. The open mic reactions on moment of frag are gold :D

My favorite guns in MWII are the TAQ-56 (a.k.a the SCAR-L) since it has controllable accuracy alongside a reasonable fire rate and the MP5 since it has a solid TTK up close.
Even though I usually blame UA-camrs for everyone using the same weapons, the MP5 is just so much fun to use. And you have to use two not so great weapons just to unlock it.
I like how FSS hurricane feels and shoots, it isn't in the list but it feels good in my hands compared to other guns because of the stability it provides.

TAQ-56 is currently my favourite weapon. I’m able to control the recoil quite well and it’s even been pretty viable at longer ranges. Definitely going to be a gun I keep in my rotation as I work on others in between.

RPK, incendiary rounds and barrel, foregrip, stock, 40 rnd magazine to make it at light as possible. Contrary to what the gunsmith description says, its recoil is extremely manageable and almost magically makes you land headshots. Extremely high damage even at long distances and assault rifle like mobility. The only downside are the iron sights which block a good amount of your view.
Yes! The rpk is nasty, it's fire rate is solid and the fact that the AK style recoil you get basically just auto kicks you into a headshot position, I dropped 25 gun kills with that thing my first game using it. And the fact you can throw 40 round mags on it is just broken when it comes to boosting the movement with it
To be fair, COD’s always been designed that you don’t need to be 100% meta to have fun so to speak. Like with the camo challenges, you’re using all kinds of guns and setups so even when you lose, you’re still progressing towards something.
Would love to see some info on the battle rifles like the FTAC Recon. That thing seems to shred at certain moments and then not so good on others at least for me in full auto
As others have said, it loses damage potential while full auto. I've been having a great time with it in semi-auto though; it gets very consistent 2-shot kills and can be made to have great handling through attachments. I know it isn't the fastest ttk in the game and it probably isn't very competitive in 6v6, but I mainly play ground war and have been loving it on maps with longer lines of sight.
The FTAC recon doesn't get much in return for having 10 round default mag. Full auto also takes away it's 120ms ttk potential with body shots. The first shot recoil is too high to get really quick kills at range, and the tiny mags let it down when trying to go closer range. If you can't abuse the fact that it can 1-tap to the head, then it's pretty mediocre. The 20 round mag BRs are usable, but I don't think there's really space in the middle ground between ARs and marksman rifles in this game.
It’s crazy that my top 5 is actually entirely different than his, I would probably say SP-R 208, M4, Kastov-74u, Fennec, STB 556 with the Kastov 762 as an honorable mention
The Lachman 5.56 is actually pretty solid, as well. I accidentally used it during a match after I had been using the Sub for a while, and was thinking "the range on this thing is ridiculous all the sudden".
Veznek-9k (you might not have unlocked it yet), it has almost the exact sameTTK as the MP5 also has longer range values especially at the mid to long/mid ranges, same amount of bullets to kill also. It's my top AR/SMG hybrid (well at least the way i use attachments).
The Taq-V is goated. Great ttk slightly lower fire rate but kills in 2-3 shots. Ammo compacity was bad in mw19 but its fixed with the 50 round mag offered. When weapon tuning comes back the scar variants will probably be meta.
I’m just happy sniping is actually really solid this year. It hasn’t been for the while now and it’s super refreshing to have it again. Srp and mp5 combo is my favorite to run atm.

Man that marksman rifle is the best gun in the game easily. I've never come close to winning a firefight against one, no matter how early I see them or start shooting them first and not missing. And I picked someone's up once, with just an iron sight, and OMG, the aim assistance MAGNATISM was next level! They really need to give it MUCH higher flinch values when getting shot at and hit.

Surprised that the PDSW made it on the list. I used it, maxed it out and got it gold and I love it. It’s essentially a P90 which I have always had a soft spot for it’s great fire rate, magazine size and handling. I hope more people show it some love
I thought about it, but its rather unattractive weapon to use, just bcs it doesnt have a progression tree to unlock other weapons. I might try it out once i have unlocked the AK74u though

Why isn't everyone talking about CUSTOM BLUEPRINTS missing? They need to bring back the ability to create "custom blueprints"!! It was so helpful & convenient to be able to create several blueprints for a weapon & then QUICKLY & EASILY apply them to a given loadout as necessary !!! THIS is a HUGE "L" for players everywhere !!
I have been enjoying almost all the guns I have used and am struggling to level up multiple guns because there are just so many that I want to use. While there are some guns that are difficult to go up against in most scenarios (m4 and SPR in particular), I have found success with almost all guns I have used, even pistols. I am really liking the new attachment system as it means I get rewarded for trying out new guns and have been seeing a much more diverse list of guns in my lobbies, even the super sweaty ones.
The EBR-14 is frustrating at first, but then once you realize it's a very maneuverable very quick 2-shot kill at almost any range (or 1-shot head), it's soooo good. Overall I think the Marksmen rifles do what the Battle rifles do, and what the Sniper rifles do, but better. Something I'm interested in experimenting with is seeing which gun has the fastest strafe speed in hipfire (and most accurate hipfire at range). I think that could be my preferred weapon. Despite the gripes, I still treat this as a run-and-gun game and do fine
I immediately knew these were all some of the best guns in the game when I was using them. I have them all gold. My #1 right now is the stb, rushing with that gun feels so good
Fennec should’ve been on this list. It has an insane close range ttk but it does drop off quick from what I’ve noticed. Still that close range ttk is nuts

Yeah, but only bcs the TTK is so low that you cant really get turnarounds in gun fights.. first one to shoot (and hit) wins the gunfight, no matter the weapon.
not really, the shotguns have been nerfed hella hard since mw2019 and most of the smgs cant really compete with the other guns. Marksmen rifles have barely any flinch along with snipers.
that 74u is a beast.. I noticed myself it was a 3 shot monster. I can't count the number of times I've been hit first but still kill the opponent because of that crazy high damage multiplier.
The STB is by far the most fun gun I’ve used in this game so far. You can make it INSANELY fast with a couple attachments, and its recoil is so controllable that I was honestly shocked to hear you say the damage is so bad because I feel like I can consistently beam people from pretty far.
I agree but I noticed the sage fall off is severe. There are times I beam someone from afar and listen to all the hit markers I get before they die lol. Using the longer barrel or integrally suppressed barrel helps with that though and then running all ads attachments after that
Ace, I know you mentioned that Battle Rifles take a 25% damage decrease by switching to full auto, but does that apply to the SCAR-H/TAQ-V? It loaded in full auto by default, would I get a damage increase by flipping over to semi-auto?

My honorable mentions that are not only good but more importantly theyre fun..... would be the g18 akimbo, and the expedite shotgun with dragons breath ammo. And honestly the riot shield. With quick fix its actually really good on objectives!
@@highonheroin5352 well they’re different guns in the game, but they really didn’t feel the same to me. the 545 has less recoil and it just felt more consistent to use for me, meanwhile my friend said the 545 is one of the worst guns he’s ever used and absolutely loves the 74u
Once I unlocked the 74u I knew I found my gun. Haven't used much else since. It has the range, consistency and ttk I was struggling to find. I knew it would be good once I used it on one of the default builds. What's also nice is the path to unlock isn't bad either as it's all ARs to unlock.
The game just came out my guy, try out some other guns lmao. These are the best all around guns but the battle rifles, shotguns and marksman rifles are all insane rn.
The pp bison is crazy up close with a pretty accurate hipfire accuracy and 64 bullets to just fuck around with. It also reloads super fast and the gun pairs with stuns really well because of its crazy hipfire
shoutout to the 762 making your list, that thing is a monster ngl. P90 was 1st gun i leveled it was awesome but you can def feel that its under powered but makes up with it with range and ammo for a different playstyle, that AUG is so snappy its awesome, prolly my fave AR besides the 74u that has more of a sub feel/build to it. 74u is prolly the best gun imo I agree, surprised the MP5 is better than the hurricane the hurricane was insane in the beta with crazy mid game fights with the 50 rounds. but I trust you that the MP5 is the best thanks for the info boss!
I've found pairing an SMG with a Marksman or Sniper rifle to be a ton of fun so far while levelling Battle Rifles has be pure pain. Hardcore can't come fast enough for me to use some of my favorite guns ever.
I personally think everyone using the SPR-208 for 6v6 should switch to the SA-B 50. It's faster by default and has a 10rd mag, swap it to the 5rd mag and it's even faster.
First gun to get the nerf hammer. No doubt. It’s for the weak and scared. Abuse it while you can then go to Warzone 2. That’ll clean this mess of a player base up.
3:34 seems like they fixed the problem with Dead Silence I got it last night and looks like they took away the sound when activated or it may be a glitch but I had a lot of Fum using it last night.
Loving the TAQ-M . The base damage hits are going to be great for WZ2 to just crack plates off in a hit or two Plus it's a one shot heads hot in 6v6 up past like 50m . Two shot anywhere else
The Scar H is really good but it has a decent amount of kick for what you would expect a top tier gun to have. If you can master the kick it can easily 2 tap someone at any range you can land a shot and have the best ttk of any gun not a one shot kill. The gun is too skill dependent to be considered a top tier gun but if mastered it can outclass or compete with every gun stated in the video.

I use a slightly modified Beta Scar and the Bruen, the Scar looks and sounds great, the Bruen is the best pistol imo, great damage, good mag size, not outrageously bad recoil or hip fire accuracy. I like pistols, they’re fun.
I really enjoyed the aug, it was really good compared to the mw2019 version but the gun I was most excited for was the hbar or the mg version of it. At first it was hard to use base but with a sight, it made it a lot better. Still a lot slower than the ar reciever but definitely more fun.
As soon as I started playing with the AK-74U I knew it was a monster. Crazy fast ADS, predictable and manageable recoil, solid iron sights. That thing has it all. Won't be long before everyone and their mother are using it... it's Blops 1 all over again 😅
Personally, I would have put the fennec, bryson 800/890, or spr/sa-b in instead of the p90. Fennec has basically 0 horizontal recoil, and a ridiculous ttk. The +5 bullets from the the last game really count. I have also been getting consistent one-shots from 20 meters with the right bryson loadouts and the spr is just the spr.
How to fix SBMM, SBMM should be changed to where once you reach a certain KD you are put into a pool with the rest of all the players. For example if your are under .3 KD you play with people that are at the same level or under. If you are over .3 KD you play with the rest of the community over .3 KD. Also to prevent people from just killing themselves over and over to get under that .3 threshold they could implement a .5-.6KD threshold that would permanently put you in lobbies with the rest of the community. This way noobs can learn and play but once they get past that .5-.6 range they need to learn and adapt to get better.
@Matty Kelly ya i mean thats probably the best option but i think mine is a good compromise to help COD support new players while also caring about the dedicated players. Ranked play should be the only place you gotta sweat like a maniac.
For me the most consistent gun so far has been the FSS Hurricane with the long barrel and laser attachments - quick ADS, great hipfire, basically zero recoil and a large mag. I find I can genuinely challenge snipers in the game if I can throw off their first shot just through sheer volume of accurate fire. I know it's not top in any category, but there's something to be said for a gun that's just incredibly easy to use..
I totally agree for basic Karstov and Karstov 74U, I didn't tried much the other ones, but my favorite gun is by far the riot shield ! Best gun to play with teamates, to play the objective, to break the ennemy team dynamics, to perturb most players, and more importantly, to make the opponent really mad 😛 Riot shield requires actually another dimension of skills to use, not the same kind of reflex as aiming fast and managing recoil, but knowing how to position yourself the best considering your different opponent and your teamate, to tank the opponent as much as possible and protect your mates, knowing when to use equipments, when to use your secondar weapon... As soon as you know how to play it with a lot of aggressivity it is very satisfying to kill 3 opponent in a row in a melee where you can clearly see that they are totally panicking. And when you see that they fear you and avoind you for the rest of the game, running back when you show up, that's priceless XD It's also funny when an opponent try to take a riot shield to "counter you", as if it was easy. For those who want a tips, against another riot shield, you can kill him easiely if you jump in front of him and smash his face from above at the exact moment when you are the higher. It's a 2 hit kill against another riot shield user. To counter this you have to look up when he jump. But player who don't know how to shield usually don't knonw these technics, and they are then easy kills 1 v 1.
Fully kitted out RPK just feels like a better kastov762. much better recoil, to the point you can throw on -recoil +ads attachments on it and its still a laser beam. that and a 75 round mag to lay hate with. Def enjoyed it more than the kastov
Havent used to lachman sub but the 556 i heard was the best gun and i still prefer my tops over it which would be the AK762, M4, MP7, and the Hurricane
my favorite guns are the stb (aug) and the spx sniper. i grinded out the snipes to unlock the spx and it just reminds me of the intervention a lot.. i’ve always been a fan of bull pup weapons and the aug is just iconic, it feels great and i think it’s very well balanced.
I think a great honorable mention is actually the M14 or some of the Battle Rifles. They have the potential to one-shot headshot while also maintaining a much faster fire rate than other markman rifles or other one-shot weapons. Mastering lining up a good headshot with one of those things can not only get you a lot of kills, but it will also infuriate your opponents.

The P90 never gets its due in Call of Duty games... love to see how well its performing right now, and would love to see it buffed further, perhaps due to its lack of mag customization. The M4 is a very good weapon in the game, excellent for new players to start out with IMO. Also the P890 AKA Sig P220 is extremely underrated and extremely useful in close quarters.

The MP5 has definitely been a fave, but I’ve always love and mainly used AKs in every past installment, can’t wait to try the 74U!
give the vazov or 9mm ak a go then, it's right up your alley and imo better than the mp5 except for iron sights

The Tac-M marksman rifle is a monster. I’ve really been enjoying the DMR style weapons. It’s hard to argue with a 1 shot headshot.
I wanted to love it but it just feels objectively worse than the EBR in every aspect

The TAC-M is awful. Horrible ROF and mobility. Literally requires you to camp. I just maxed it out and it was the worst time of my life.

TAQ-56 is currently my favourite weapon. I’m able to control the recoil quite well and it’s even been pretty viable at longer ranges. Definitely going to be a gun I keep in my rotation as I work on others in between.

RPK, incendiary rounds and barrel, foregrip, stock, 40 rnd magazine to make it at light as possible. Contrary to what the gunsmith description says, its recoil is extremely manageable and almost magically makes you land headshots. Extremely high damage even at long distances and assault rifle like mobility. The only downside are the iron sights which block a good amount of your view.
Yes! The rpk is nasty, it's fire rate is solid and the fact that the AK style recoil you get basically just auto kicks you into a headshot position, I dropped 25 gun kills with that thing my first game using it. And the fact you can throw 40 round mags on it is just broken when it comes to boosting the movement with it
being a mature cod player means being able to watch these videos and still just explore the game by yourself and use the guns you fancy
To be fair, COD’s always been designed that you don’t need to be 100% meta to have fun so to speak.
Like with the camo challenges, you’re using all kinds of guns and setups so even when you lose, you’re still progressing towards something.

Would love to see some info on the battle rifles like the FTAC Recon. That thing seems to shred at certain moments and then not so good on others at least for me in full auto

As others have said, it loses damage potential while full auto. I've been having a great time with it in semi-auto though; it gets very consistent 2-shot kills and can be made to have great handling through attachments. I know it isn't the fastest ttk in the game and it probably isn't very competitive in 6v6, but I mainly play ground war and have been loving it on maps with longer lines of sight.

The FTAC recon doesn't get much in return for having 10 round default mag. Full auto also takes away it's 120ms ttk potential with body shots.
The first shot recoil is too high to get really quick kills at range, and the tiny mags let it down when trying to go closer range. If you can't abuse the fact that it can 1-tap to the head, then it's pretty mediocre.
The 20 round mag BRs are usable, but I don't think there's really space in the middle ground between ARs and marksman rifles in this game.
It’s crazy that my top 5 is actually entirely different than his, I would probably say SP-R 208, M4, Kastov-74u, Fennec, STB 556 with the Kastov 762 as an honorable mention
The RPK with the half mag is godlike.
The Lachman 5.56 is actually pretty solid, as well. I accidentally used it during a match after I had been using the Sub for a while, and was thinking "the range on this thing is ridiculous all the sudden".
Veznek-9k (you might not have unlocked it yet), it has almost the exact sameTTK as the MP5 also has longer range values especially at the mid to long/mid ranges, same amount of bullets to kill also. It's my top AR/SMG hybrid (well at least the way i use attachments).

The Taq-V is goated. Great ttk slightly lower fire rate but kills in 2-3 shots. Ammo compacity was bad in mw19 but its fixed with the 50 round mag offered. When weapon tuning comes back the scar variants will probably be meta.
I’m just happy sniping is actually really solid this year. It hasn’t been for the while now and it’s super refreshing to have it again. Srp and mp5 combo is my favorite to run atm.

Man that marksman rifle is the best gun in the game easily. I've never come close to winning a firefight against one, no matter how early I see them or start shooting them first and not missing. And I picked someone's up once, with just an iron sight, and OMG, the aim assistance MAGNATISM was next level! They really need to give it MUCH higher flinch values when getting shot at and hit.

A hidden gem to remember to use, the starting handgun it 2 taps spec into hipfire with quickdraw grip and you will be popping unexpectedly
My favourite gun I've used so far is the Lachman 556. It just feels like a really solid assault rifle but all the others I've used so far are too.
the lack 556 is def slept in. it almost performs better with a suppresor

Surprised that the PDSW made it on the list. I used it, maxed it out and got it gold and I love it. It’s essentially a P90 which I have always had a soft spot for it’s great fire rate, magazine size and handling. I hope more people show it some love
I thought about it, but its rather unattractive weapon to use, just bcs it doesnt have a progression tree to unlock other weapons.

I have been enjoying almost all the guns I have used and am struggling to level up multiple guns because there are just so many that I want to use. While there are some guns that are difficult to go up against in most scenarios (m4 and SPR in particular), I have found success with almost all guns I have used, even pistols.
I am really liking the new attachment system as it means I get rewarded for trying out new guns and have been seeing a much more diverse list of guns in my lobbies, even the super sweaty ones.
The TAQ-V definitely deserved to be on the list. I absolutely melt people with it
The EBR-14 is frustrating at first, but then once you realize it's a very maneuverable very quick 2-shot kill at almost any range (or 1-shot head), it's soooo good. Overall I think the Marksmen rifles do what the Battle rifles do, and what the Sniper rifles do, but better. Something I'm interested in experimenting with is seeing which gun has the fastest strafe speed in hipfire (and most accurate hipfire at range). I think that could be my preferred weapon. Despite the gripes, I still treat this as a run-and-gun game and do fine
I honestly enjoy using all of the Kastov variations.
Imo the 5.45 variant is horrible.. might be just me tho
I immediately knew these were all some of the best guns in the game when I was using them. I have them all gold. My #1 right now is the stb, rushing with that gun feels so good

Fennec should’ve been on this list. It has an insane close range ttk but it does drop off quick from what I’ve noticed. Still that close range ttk is nuts
I’ve just got all the shotguns gold and I can say that the Lockwood 300 is too OP especially in SnD

Yeah, but only bcs the TTK is so low that you cant really get turnarounds in gun fights.. first one to shoot (and hit) wins the gunfight, no matter the weapon.

not really, the shotguns have been nerfed hella hard since mw2019 and most of the smgs cant really compete with the other guns. Marksmen rifles have barely any flinch along with snipers.

that 74u is a beast.. I noticed myself it was a 3 shot monster. I can't count the number of times I've been hit first but still kill the opponent because of that crazy high damage multiplier.

The STB is by far the most fun gun I’ve used in this game so far. You can make it INSANELY fast with a couple attachments, and its recoil is so controllable that I was honestly shocked to hear you say the damage is so bad because I feel like I can consistently beam people from pretty far.
I agree but I noticed the sage fall off is severe. There are times I beam someone from afar and listen to all the hit markers I get before they die lol. Using the longer barrel or integrally suppressed barrel helps with that though and then running all ads attachments after that
Ace, I know you mentioned that Battle Rifles take a 25% damage decrease by switching to full auto, but does that apply to the SCAR-H/TAQ-V? It loaded in full auto by default, would I get a damage increase by flipping over to semi-auto?

Yes it does apply to the TAQ-V as well. You can get a 2 shot kill to the body in semi-auto (it's a 3 shot in full-auto)

My honorable mentions that are not only good but more importantly theyre fun..... would be the g18 akimbo, and the expedite shotgun with dragons breath ammo. And honestly the riot shield. With quick fix its actually really good on objectives!
AK 74u being the best gun again makes me feel nostalgic. BO1 was by far one of my most memorable CoDs in history.

I love the entire Kastov line, including but not limited to, the Vasnev.
Once I unlocked the 74u I knew I found my gun. Haven't used much else since. It has the range, consistency and ttk I was struggling to find. I knew it would be good once I used it on one of the default builds. What's also nice is the path to unlock isn't bad either as it's all ARs to unlock.
The game just came out my guy, try out some other guns lmao. These are the best all around guns but the battle rifles, shotguns and marksman rifles are all insane rn.

The pp bison is crazy up close with a pretty accurate hipfire accuracy and 64 bullets to just fuck around with. It also reloads super fast and the gun pairs with stuns really well because of its crazy hipfire

shoutout to the 762 making your list, that thing is a monster ngl. P90 was 1st gun i leveled it was awesome but you can def feel that its under powered but makes up with it with range and ammo for a different playstyle, that AUG is so snappy its awesome, prolly my fave AR besides the 74u that has more of a sub feel/build to it. 74u is prolly the best gun imo I agree, surprised the MP5 is better than the hurricane the hurricane was insane in the beta with crazy mid game fights with the 50 rounds. but I trust you that the MP5 is the best thanks for the info boss!

I've found pairing an SMG with a Marksman or Sniper rifle to be a ton of fun so far while levelling Battle Rifles has be pure pain. Hardcore can't come fast enough for me to use some of my favorite guns ever.
I personally think everyone using the SPR-208 for 6v6 should switch to the SA-B 50. It's faster by default and has a 10rd mag, swap it to the 5rd mag and it's even faster.
Hit 2 quad feeds in back to back games with that marksman rifle

3:34 seems like they fixed the problem with Dead Silence I got it last night and looks like they took away the sound when activated or it may be a glitch but I had a lot of Fum using it last night.
Loving the TAQ-M . The base damage hits are going to be great for WZ2 to just crack plates off in a hit or two

The Scar H is really good but it has a decent amount of kick for what you would expect a top tier gun to have. If you can master the kick it can easily 2 tap someone at any range you can land a shot and have the best ttk of any gun not a one shot kill. The gun is too skill dependent to be considered a top tier gun but if mastered it can outclass or compete with every gun stated in the video.

I use a slightly modified Beta Scar and the Bruen, the Scar looks and sounds great, the Bruen is the best pistol imo, great damage, good mag size, not outrageously bad recoil or hip fire accuracy. I like pistols, they’re fun.
I really enjoyed the aug, it was really good compared to the mw2019 version but the gun I was most excited for was the hbar or the mg version of it. At first it was hard to use base but with a sight, it made it a lot better. Still a lot slower than the ar reciever but definitely more fun.
As soon as I started playing with the AK-74U I knew it was a monster. Crazy fast ADS, predictable and manageable recoil, solid iron sights. That thing has it all.
Won't be long before everyone and their mother are using it... it's Blops 1 all over again 😅
I think the 74u should be adjusted to have quite a bit more horizontal recoil as well as a much slower bullet velocity
They did good by making the sprint to fire time shorter on STB/AUG, since it is a bull pup. Bull pups do handle well.
My favorite game balance is the Unreal Engine school. Buff everything to the same amount, but have every gun be a wildly different play style.
Personally, I would have put the fennec, bryson 800/890, or spr/sa-b in instead of the p90. Fennec has basically 0 horizontal recoil, and a ridiculous ttk. The +5 bullets from the the last game really count. I have also been getting consistent one-shots from 20 meters with the right bryson loadouts and the spr is just the spr.
How to fix SBMM,
SBMM should be changed to where once you reach a certain KD you are put into a pool with the rest of all the players. For example if your are under .3 KD you play with people that are at the same level or under. If you are over .3 KD you play with the rest of the community over .3 KD. Also to prevent people from just killing themselves over and over to get under that .3 threshold they could implement a .5-.6KD threshold that would permanently put you in lobbies with the rest of the community. This way noobs can learn and play but once they get past that .5-.6 range they need to learn and adapt to get better.
@Matty Kelly ya i mean thats probably the best option but i think mine is a good compromise to help COD support new players while also caring about the dedicated players. Ranked play should be the only place you gotta sweat like a maniac.

The best gun in the game is the Over-the-top Aim "Assist" that does everything for you, so you don't need to track your target anymore.

For me the most consistent gun so far has been the FSS Hurricane with the long barrel and laser attachments - quick ADS, great hipfire, basically zero recoil and a large mag. I find I can genuinely challenge snipers in the game if I can throw off their first shot just through sheer volume of accurate fire. I know it's not top in any category, but there's something to be said for a gun that's just incredibly easy to use..
I totally agree for basic Karstov and Karstov 74U, I didn't tried much the other ones, but my favorite gun is by far the riot shield ! Best gun to play with teamates, to play the objective, to break the ennemy team dynamics, to perturb most players, and more importantly, to make the opponent really mad 😛
Riot shield requires actually another dimension of skills to use, not the same kind of reflex as aiming fast and managing recoil, but knowing how to position yourself the best considering your different opponent and your teamate, to tank the opponent as much as possible and protect your mates, knowing when to use equipments, when to use your secondar weapon... As soon as you know how to play it with a lot of aggressivity it is very satisfying to kill 3 opponent in a row in a melee where you can clearly see that they are totally panicking. And when you see that they fear you and avoind you for the rest of the game, running back when you show up, that's priceless XD
It's also funny when an opponent try to take a riot shield to "counter you", as if it was easy. For those who want a tips, against another riot shield, you can kill him easiely if you jump in front of him and smash his face from above at the exact moment when you are the higher. It's a 2 hit kill against another riot shield user. To counter this you have to look up when he jump. But player who don't know how to shield usually don't knonw these technics, and they are then easy kills 1 v 1.
Fully kitted out RPK just feels like a better kastov762. much better recoil, to the point you can throw on -recoil +ads attachments on it and its still a laser beam. that and a 75 round mag to lay hate with. Def enjoyed it more than the kastov
Havent used to lachman sub but the 556 i heard was the best gun and i still prefer my tops over it which would be the AK762, M4, MP7, and the Hurricane

my favorite guns are the stb (aug) and the spx sniper. i grinded out the snipes to unlock the spx and it just reminds me of the intervention a lot.. i’ve always been a fan of bull pup weapons and the aug is just iconic, it feels great and i think it’s very well balanced.
I like the PDS. It’s quick and versatile.

Plus you can unlock that amazing optic.
I think a great honorable mention is actually the M14 or some of the Battle Rifles. They have the potential to one-shot headshot while also maintaining a much faster fire rate than other markman rifles or other one-shot weapons. Mastering lining up a good headshot with one of those things can not only get you a lot of kills, but it will also infuriate your opponents.
The TAQ56 out of the box is a dream. Super consistent, easy handling, great recoil

The M4 is a very good weapon in the game, excellent for new players to start out with IMO.
Also the P890 AKA Sig P220 is extremely underrated and extremely useful in close quarters.
Lachmann 556 actually feels really great as well. Otherwise I have pretty much same weapons as my favourites
