    20 below and not wearing gloves? Safe to say you don't have Raynaud's. Nice design. Both shelters good & rugged looking. Too bad there is not yet a sturdy see thru roof design. Beautiful sky

      Glass roof. Hmmm. How cool would that be? The only problem I see is preventing or removing scratches. Maybe there is a chemical that can be used in the glass. It would have to be steep I would say.

      Since I started working on the roof it's finally starting to look like a cabin Theresa and Me are up to the cabin this weekend working on putting the steel on the roof it looks really nice With the roof on 🌲🦌🦫🌲

    Screws . Whereas great for getting an exact fit or placement can snap. It is recommended to add some nails as they will not snap. Just a thought. Love the build!

    The cabin and its river location , looks real special ! I do stone fireplaces etc. , yours looks well done , where did you get those stones , I'm very interested !!! Thanks , C.

      My wife's mom and dad has a Farm in central Michigan We picked up the rocks out of their fence row's where they put them in piles So they don't hurt their farm equipment

    What type of tree did you use for your ridge beam and purlins?

      Most of the Logs are Norwegian spruce and white pine the ridge Poles and purlins Are white pine
