Still hives me the creeps and I'm now 62, but I saw it originally in movie theater at 15 years old. The neighborhood I raised my kids in would have those little gusts of wind blowing fallen leaves down the road. One year we took the kids to trick or treat with cousins and every turn we made was another Michael Meyers standing there staring. The anxiety was real! lolol. I still watch it every year on Halloween.
I went out to the theater and saw this on Halloween night. It was worth it so much more than trick or treating. I mean, I’ve gone trick or treating since I was a toddler but I’ve never once saw a Michael Myers Halloween movie in theaters before. And there could not have been a more perfect time to see this on Halloween night showing at 9:30 pm.
What's more creepy in Michael Myers is that he does not need powers , this theme fits perfectly with him : no love , no crying , no regret ... only evil and nothing else

a young boy is left home alone with his dog, Halloween's night. He knows, that in case of fear or doubt, he just has to put his hand under the bed and the pet will reassure him with his presence. So, every time he hears some noise, even the most remote, he doesn't esitate to reach for the dog's breath. Suddenly the TV shuts and the entire house is left in the dark. The boy, petrified, puts his hand under the bed once more, and his friend, once more, is there for him. After few minutes and after finding some courage, he leaves the bed and makes his way to the bathroom, he could have sworn that some strange noises came right from there. As he enters the door, he finds out that the bath is full of water, and some strange message appeared on the wall, in front of the glass. the boy, now terrified, tries to read the message with the help of the phone's flashlight. Freezes, a violent chill down the spine hits him. The message appearing out of no where and made of blood warns : "Not all dogs, can lick". A disgusting smell coming stronger from the bath tub suggests that what's in there, could not be water and what's under the bed could not be his dog.
This is a horror film, that stays honest to the original, now I'm gonna bring something up, teen titans go sucked so badly, the new thundercats is coming out in 2019 and it looks god-awful, but this is a true masterpiece that stays honest to the original halloween franchise, and I praise the creators god-like talents :D

I like both for their own reasons. But on a fight I would bet on undead Jason because he has tanked damage that wrecked Michael. Such as being set on fire or being gunned down by multiple people. Being set on fire sent Michael in a coma for 10 years while it didn't even do anything to part 7 Jason who also got blown up inside a building. In Freddy vs Jason being set on fire didn't even slow Jason down. And Jason is under constant gunfire which doesn't do anything but Michael needed to be nursed back after he got shot and fell into the well. But like I said I like both for their own reasons.

the boy, now terrified, tries to read the message with the help of the phone's flashlight.

A disgusting smell coming stronger from the bath tub suggests that what's in there, could not be water and what's under the bed could not be his dog.

This is a horror film, that stays honest to the original, now I'm gonna bring something up, teen titans go sucked so badly, the new thundercats is coming out in 2019 and it looks god-awful, but this is a true masterpiece that stays honest to the original halloween franchise, and I praise the creators god-like talents :D

I like both for their own reasons. But on a fight I would bet on undead Jason because he has tanked damage that wrecked Michael. Such as being set on fire or being gunned down by multiple people.
Being set on fire sent Michael in a coma for 10 years while it didn't even do anything to part 7 Jason who also got blown up inside a building. In Freddy vs Jason being set on fire didn't even slow Jason down.
And Jason is under constant gunfire which doesn't do anything but Michael needed to be nursed back after he got shot and fell into the well.
But like I said I like both for their own reasons.
