THANK YOU, MS DENISE FOR RETURNING TO FILMING HORIZONTAL!! 🤣🤣 I can see sooo much better! It was hard watching the grocery haul because I'm very nearsighted!! 😉😉 Will we get to see the family fish fry? 🤔🤔
I am so excited to watch this video…but right away I wanted to thank you for filming horizontally! It is SO much easier to see because the picture is larger! Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family! ❤
Hello Denise, although I have been a traditional homemaker for 45 yrs. I enjoy your videos and often learn new things. I was not aware of adding carrots or chili sauce to greens, I'm not sure if it's because I'm in the south. I'll have to share this tidbit with my family and if they're open to it, I'm all in.
Queenie, hi. I add the carrots…chop them very small if you think your family might object…and drop them in. The natural sweetness of the carrots will just add flavor. As for the chili sauce…many people are adding hot sauce at the table. Chili sauce is similar but without the heat. Just flavor.
Thanks so much Ms. Denise! It took me 2 days to watch the video. I tell you, you put care and patience into this video. It came from a place of love I can tell! I want to wish you and your hubby a very Happy Thanksgiving! I appreciate your time, talent, and efforts. LORD bless you❤
@@homemakingwithdenise Yes ma'am, I was able to fix my shells ahead and my cabbage/collard&mustard greens mixed with turkey necks (something new and delicious😊). I'm also fixing a whole chicken, mashed potatoes and maybe gravy. We're going to have our home-cooked meal on Wednesday, then Thursday we're going out to a restaurant. Something new I'm trying. Do you have any videos/ encouragement for ladies with young children at home who are homemakers? I also homeschool my children. Thank you Ms. Denise!
Hi Sweetie, I’m glad you were able to get cooking done with me in your ear. So your family will get to enjoy two days of celebrations…Wednesday and Thursday. I like it. Fo make gravy. It is so easy, well…it’s a moot point. It’s Wednesday night and dinner is over but for the leftovers, make gravy. You’ll be glad you did.
I wear aprons all the time. I rarely walk up to the sink or the stove without wearing an apron. I’m messy so I need to be protected. Hahaha! This is your cooking dinner playlist. Keep me in your ear while you’re making Thanksgiving dinner. Hahaha!
@homemakingwithdenise thank you.🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰 I also wear an apron. I cook, clean, eat and occasionally drink coffee, tea and lemonade🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰. please wil you making a video with washing an apron by the hands in the sink with detergent water and scrub brush for me please please 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
I can do this but can’t until I get home. I can’t put them in the description box because there is not enough space for all the characters. However, pause the videos and write down the ingredients as you go. I’ve got everything listed.
Hi Kathy, I do have the ingredients listed in each video. You could write them down. I don’t have space in the description box to put all those recipes in. So, just pause the video and get the recipes you want. In the meantime, I’ll try to get them on my website.
Oh…it was chili sauce in greens, not catsup. Think about it. So many people put hot sauce in greens. The chili sauce has a bit of that flavor plus a little vinegar. It’s all good.

Will we get to see the family fish fry? 🤔🤔
Ooohhh! Not sure. I’ll see what’s what but everyone doesn’t like the camera. Probably not the fry itself. Maybe some of the prep? We will see.

I am so excited to watch this video…but right away I wanted to thank you for filming horizontally! It is SO much easier to see because the picture is larger! Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family! ❤
You are so welcome! I prefer horizontal video myself. It’s just easier to navigate.

Thank you! You too! This is the time, among many times, to gather your family in around the table,
This is lovely. Would you be willing to post recipes?

Will do, thank you!
Never have I ever put car up in green
Hmmmm. Are you saying you don’t put carrots in greens? I don’t put much. Just a little for color and natural sweetness.
Thanks for sharing, but I wish we had the recipes and ingredients.
