I find that Taylor is one of the best car based UA-cam channels out there. He shows that anyone can learn and do it. And in this video I realized how smart he is for his builds and how important it is to plan ahead while also focusing on right now, with that steering box idea of getting the middle upgrade but leaving the option to add to it. Not to mention he shows that anyone can get into drifting and with time you can be good at it. You don't need a 900+ HP FD ready car, just a put together car with some angle, a simple cage and a junkyard V8 with ~350HP. I've been a fan for a long long time and I'm still actively watching. Love this guy.
This is exactly why I like your channel; it not just about a bunch of drift cars. You do a WRX build and now a masterpiece of a truck. Totally incredible!
If I find happiness in seeing you commenting on all the recent videos, it has to mean a lot to Taylor. None of our business, but it’s nice to see people showing positive support without it having to be overwhelming. And Sandy is awesome! 🐈
I’ve gotta be honest, as UA-camrs go I think that you’re one of the most natural and genuinely knowledgable guys that I follow and this conversion for me is really really cool to watch. Top work Taylor 🤘🏻
RakkasanMedic no modifications. I can’t remember if they come with hardware or not but if they don’t be sure to get some new bolts or really clean your old ones up and clean the threads out on the block and the face of it where the gasket goes before you put the new on. It a easy job really
Always love a good Sandy appearance, always makes me smile. I know you have heard this but seriously your content is always top notch! Keep up the good work and if you decide to go pro 2 you have a lot of people behind you!
Always great to have a supervisor like Sandy around👍😍 bet she made sure the new pump colormatched the Cummins. 🤣 great build and good information about the how and why of your partschoices. Just out of curiousity, are you painting the frame since the cab is of and realy easy to access now? Can't wait to see it finished. And to see you compete in the Clutchkickers series, that's a awesome series, wished we had something like that in Holland. Oh and of course the Freedom Factory 500 ,🤣💪👍
I like all your videos... this build is the best so far... just look how much the subs have gone up since this project started... congratulations soon be half a million
Hey man! I love the channel and am really digging your Fummins build. A word to the wise however concerning the steering gear box. The pitman arm nut is a one shot deal. Ford specs that you cannot reuse it and it must be torqued to somewhere around 350 pound feet. Even then, it will work itself loose. Trust me.....I know. After several times with it coming loose, I finally ended up tack welding the nut to the pitman arm (not the sector shaft). Now there is no death wobble and my F250 cruises straight down the road like it is on rails. You will love the redhead steering gearbox. It is well worth the money. Good luck! I am looking forward to seeing this truck completed.
Great build series. Check the body mounts for wear; sometimes they turn to dust. Ford switched to a soft foam material when they moved to the 6.0, 6.4, 6.7 motor years.
Apart from paying attention to where the pitman arm was when pulling it off you should also check that the steering box is centred before putting it on . Even with a keyed spline you can still clock it wrong by a significant amount.
YASSS moar fummins! this is inspiring me to look at doing a similar build. you're doing an amazing job of documenting it, thank you! can you talk a bit about your choice of common-rail over 12V? I like the tune-ability of the common-rail, but the stuck-injector smoked-piston stories on the internet have me spooked.
Will do! Basically the CR engines are so much more refined. If I just wanted a project truck 12v all the way. But for a tow rig/daily the cr is a much better engine in every way.
You’ll have to put the Cummins badge on the fender just so people know what’s up lol that and it would piss some people off so that’s always fun too haha
I’m sure you’ve already thought of it but if not you should really look into doing a coolant bypass especially while the cab is off. Definitely worth the money.
11:36 You are making a mistake... You should replace that Torque converter before dropping the engine in. So much easier now than having to take it all back apart a year or so later when you realize the sloppy lockups and mismatched rpms. I highly suggest a Suncoast converter. They are pretty much perfect for your setup
Taylor, love the varied content. 2 tool questions: What make/ model is your digital torque wrench? And, who makes your pneumatic engine lift? Many thanks.
Might want to double check that front drive shaft when the front suspension is at full droop very unlikely that would happen on the road but it wouldn’t be fun if it falls out while driving lol

Let's not forget that Sandy is awesome. Love everytime she comes around
Couldn't have agreed more mate👌🏽. Keep it up Taylor, keep inspiring people brother
ik this is old but tbf the cage and the junkyard v8 arent too neccessary either
The story of one man, his dedicated cat and their ford truck!
Sounds like a weird broke back mountain 🤣
Well said my friend.....Well said indeed!👍
Sandy is actually the best supervisor you should get her worlds best boss mug
Ben to the rescue always coming in clutch when you need him what a great friend
Always happy to see sandy.
Sandy is obviously the manager/star of this channel!
This is exactly why I like your channel; it not just about a bunch of drift cars. You do a WRX build and now a masterpiece of a truck. Totally incredible!
Good luck at the Freedom 500😃much love from Detroit THANX Great job 💪
Great Video once again , love it when Sandy comes to check how your doing. Many thanks Taylor.
All your builds are great. Seriously love your channel. My personal favorite UA-cam car guy/drifter personality! You're doing awesome man.
SANDY SANDSSS
If I find happiness in seeing you commenting on all the recent videos, it has to mean a lot to Taylor. None of our business, but it’s nice to see people showing positive support without it having to be overwhelming. And Sandy is awesome! 🐈
Sandy: "I'm here to remind you that you haven't had your cat break yet."
Sandy is the best supervisor , lol
Love this project!
Love this series! Probably my favorite! Binge watching this whole Fummins Playlist currently 😂💯
18:03 Nailed it! You said a mouthfull about the "right" hardware my friend. ~
all want is for someone to love me as much as sandy loves Taylor
fozzy wrx so buy yourself a cat
@@xiukn8 or a goldfish
I wish I had Taylor's mentality and planning abilities when it comes to building anything. He's so on point. Good work as always!
I’ve gotta be honest, as UA-camrs go I think that you’re one of the most natural and genuinely knowledgable guys that I follow and this conversion for me is really really cool to watch.
Top work Taylor 🤘🏻
Love the Fummins project...and Sandy!!😁👍🏻👌🏻
I couldn't agree more with Taylor. F350 with a Cummins. Perfect 👌 love this build
Somebody sponsor this man a quality vise. That little kobalts barely hanging on 😂
I can’t get enough of these builds thanks
I love that you will tackle any project... we all learn from you... thanks.
Go ahead and get you a steed speed 2nd gen manifold for that thing. You’ll be glad you did.
matt ford are they direct replacement or do modifications need to be made?
No
RakkasanMedic no modifications. I can’t remember if they come with hardware or not but if they don’t be sure to get some new bolts or really clean your old ones up and clean the threads out on the block and the face of it where the gasket goes before you put the new on. It a easy job really
matt ford manifold will do absolutely nothing without a turbo to go with it.
brady sebring 3rd gens are known for cracking so it’ll not do that
I got $10 that says you win the Freedom 500
Same
What I said
i got $10 to spend to watch it
Always love a good Sandy appearance, always makes me smile. I know you have heard this but seriously your content is always top notch! Keep up the good work and if you decide to go pro 2 you have a lot of people behind you!
Love how you put klutch kicker footage at the end with the in car camera of all them left foot brake kicks
Sandy is such a good shop cat.
sandy best part of the vid hands down lol
this is 100% my favorite build youve done since the miata. So cool to see you wrenchin on something different
Hope you win the freedom 500 buddy
sandy is getting chunky. thats a happy kitty

Sandy is taking over the channel Taylor. Now if you could get her to wrench on something.
Dude I’ve been sick as a dog for two days and watched a ton of your videos. Keep up the good work man!
im in love with this conversion, very high quality kit.
This is the best channel.
Updates woot woot!! Pumped for the fummins
Look at Taylor beeing a rebel 😂😂 using chrome sockets on a impact 😂😂
Definitely my favourite content right now. Keep up the good work!! 👍🏽👍🏽
So looking forward to this one. Thanks for continuing to do such an awesome job with this one.
I like all your videos... this build is the best so far... just look how much the subs have gone up since this project started... congratulations soon be half a million
Great video as always Taylor. Keep it up man. Loving the content lately.
This is the best build so far!
That edit on the torque wrench 😵🤯
Hey man! I love the channel and am really digging your Fummins build. A word to the wise however concerning the steering gear box. The pitman arm nut is a one shot deal. I really enjoy your videos but as a fellow car and cat lover, Sandy is always a highlight. Lol
I liked this vid cause sandy. Not that it wasn’t a good vid. She just reminded me to like it lol.
Definitely going to be a great tow rig!
I commented on the last Fummins build video.. put a tire between the two vehicles when pushing them
Rear bumper needs replacement on my truck. And front on bens. No harm no foul. Lol
Can’t wait for the first fire up!
The third gen?! I remember when you were driving a first gen with a corvette behind it😂
Awesome vidoes like always and cant wait see it running and awesome job on it
Thanks for all the great content.
That’s sick dude!!!
Hurrah! Truck content.
Great build series. Check the body mounts for wear; sometimes they turn to dust. Ford switched to a soft foam material when they moved to the 6.0, 6.4, 6.7 motor years.
That’s awesome man. Keep up the good work.
That's great content!! Love the drifting work also but that's going to be a nice truck. You can't beat a Cummins!!
Taylor my man check out Carli suspension! I run the 2.5 pin top system on my 2016 f450 and I will honestly never look back!
This thing is gonna be so dope
Sandy got me to sub 😎👍😸
Great man. And Happy Birthday to you. And have an awesome day. Btw, maybe that's why Sandy was nervous about ;-) . Some Dutch regards, Nico.
If the cab is still off you should do a Fleece coolant bypass. Keeps the engine coolant temp nice and cool.
Apart from paying attention to where the pitman arm was when pulling it off you should also check that the steering box is centred before putting it on . Even with a keyed spline you can still clock it wrong by a significant amount.
Damn it boy I'm ready to see this thing done
YASSS moar fummins! this is inspiring me to look at doing a similar build. you're doing an amazing job of documenting it, thank you! can you talk a bit about your choice of common-rail over 12V? I love it when sandy makes an appearance but I'm a sucker for kitties. Me an the ole lady have 5.
I really want to see Deboss Garage review this truck once it’s done!
Hell yeah brother!!
Happy birthday my dude! 🥳
Nice, you just made that Ford gud. I can't wait to see it run.
learned a lot and would like to do this one day sandy needs subtitles lol
dude, you are awesome.
It’s like ford and dodge were meant to be. Keep up the great work!!! Hope your doing well.
You’ll have to put the Cummins badge on the fender just so people know what’s up lol that and it would piss some people off so that’s always fun too haha
I’m sure you’ve already thought of it but if not you should really look into doing a coolant bypass especially while the cab is off. Definitely worth the money.
I'd also put a race rail plug in the tail while your there. Stock ones tend to fail and you'll drop rail pressure
Shout out to Sandy am I right?
that's going to to be one fkn lovely truck keep at it
Taylor when you get free time can you do a video on what tools and parts you carry with you when you go on long distance drift events
Just a suggestion. Since you will be towing with this a lot I would put an exhaust brake on.
When he was putting the thing my dogs were freaking out from the wrench making noise
You should place a tire between the bumpers when pushing vehicles around
1 piece driveshaft much less headache and no more bird cage/ carrier bearing
@debossgarage must love this swap 😁🤘
Love this man
does that cummins engine have the killer dowel pin? if so did i miss him fixing it!!!
11:36 You are making a mistake... You should replace that Torque converter before dropping the engine in. So much easier now than having to take it all back apart a year or so later when you realize the sloppy lockups and mismatched rpms. I highly suggest a Suncoast converter. You need a floor mounted winch with a wireless remote in the shop to pull vehicles in by yourself
Finally 🤘🏻
Nice
Taylor, love the varied content. 2 tool questions: What make/ model is your digital torque wrench? And, who makes your pneumatic engine lift? Many thanks.
The lift is from harbor freight
Nice video 👍✌
Freaking mint Taylor
I just wanna come over to give SANDY SANDSSS some love
Garforce II SANDY SANDSSS
Save yourself the later headache and do the ball joints now with the other stuff.
Got to be honest the cats only reason I watch your videos LOL
Might want to double check that front drive shaft when the front suspension is at full droop very unlikely that would happen on the road but it wouldn’t be fun if it falls out while driving lol
Wish we had trucks like that in the UK, but they wouldn’t even fit on one lane here haha
