Good morning fellow Bruce Lee collectors! Great to finally see my Bruce Lee brother John Negron on the show! I first heard about John through an article in a special Green Hornet issue of “Toy & Model Collector” and in it John featured part of his Green Hornet collection which was very impressive. Little did I know that we’d be hanging out having lunch at Angela Mao’s restaurant! Great episode but you haven’t seen nothing yet so......get ready! Great job brother! Talk soon Charlie!

Hector my Brother from another mother, First let me start by saying that the bond we have from our passion is way beyond collecting thank you so much for your kind words my collection is peanuts compared to you big collector's that inspired me many years ago such as you, Richard Torres, Charles, Norman and Robert Blakeman who is no longer with us but their memory will as Bruce's always live on for what they inspired us to do until this day. Who would have known that from collecting a few posters and magazines that we would still be doing this into our 50's, 60's and beyond, It's always a pleasure chatting with you doing the week wishing you all the best hope to see you again in the summer.
vetteusmc My brother, this is what it’s all about: our hobby bringing together people into a family of collectors who have turned into a brotherhood of respect. Of course, it also creates animosity and hatred but it all comes with the package in every walk of life. Yes, I have a substantial collection but you have a warehouse! Ahahaha! Hi Charles really did enjoy John negrons interview and his way of collecting also when he said that the bruce Lee magazine don't have to be in mint condition I've learned to appreciate Bruce Lee magazine as long there in decent condition as well I dont really care all about mint condition stuff and all that i dont bother with all that bull but as soon I get a magazine I make sure it has a plastic and cardboard thank you john negron and Charles .
Larry thanks for commenting! Every collector is different and that's what makes collecting so much fun and keeps it interesting. I personally like items that are in great to near mint, in not mint condition. I just feel they look better displayed or framed and also hold there value better. Oh haha, i see - i thought it was a Bruce Lee interview with him talking. Really great to listen to you two guys talking the way you do about Bruce. It's the first time i've met people who love Bruce as much as i do since one guy i knew in 1977/78 - knew him for 2 years. Haven't seen him since. He had the Bruce Lee LP of ETD with Bruces screams and soundtracks from the movie. I got to see Enter The Dragon a year later, my fave, in London Soho. 1979 - best year of my life.

Another great episode! I agree on preserving the collection even if it is a little beat up. I have several Bruce Lee posters which are not in the best condition however I had to rescue them.

What a great collection of magazines. Worth the 11 hour drive for the Golden News weekly's alone. I met Norman Borine and he was a absolutely lovely man. He had one of the Game of Death suits with Kareem's footprint on, and one of the sets of nunchuks used in Enter the Dragon. I got his book King Dragon recently, and there's a photo in it of me while he is signing my Absorb what is useful book. Can't wait to see the rest of John's collection. Great show again.

The one I saw was a bit dirty. Norman told us that somebody washed it not knowing how important the footprint was, Luckily it was still visible. Check out a Bruce Lee portrait by Eric Wilson. He mentions your channel and done an excellent picture of Bruce on his 80th birthday.
@@jwfloating-world man hopefully the footprint was still a little visible! Was it the original suit or a remake? Eric Wilson is a great artist! Saw his episode the other day and also does an exceptional job explaining Bruce Lees JKD philosophy in the art and in life!
It was one of the originals and you could see the footprint although faded. There had to be two as Bruce filmed Kareem's first and the suit is clean on the previous floors.

Norman Borine was a big collector and Bruce Lee fan in the 80's and 90's and opening the World of Bruce Lee Museum! The first of its kind back then! Norman passed away a while back and in the late 90's he auctioned off his entire Bruce Lee collection and earned $365,000 from hundreds of auctioned Bruce Lee items! The Museum and his collection unfortunately is no more. Thanks again and enjoy this Fridays new episode!

That was a great episode featuring you both and the great chinese mags.
When I look back, I recall a shop in Manchester, here in the UK, where the shelves were packed high with Chinese Bruce mags, and I mean high!
All in clear protective covers.
It was a Bruce Lee fans dream.
I met Norman Borine over here, and I've still got my entrance ticket that he signed for me plus photos.
I really enjoyed picking up Bruce's clothing, the Enter chucks and some of his shoes, especially his brown desert boots that he trained out with in his back yard in Bel Air.
It was all part of the Bruce Lee Museum tour over here.
I've since heard that the display of his GOD tracksuit and sneakers were from the 1978 version, and in retrospect Charles, the sneakers are the same as the 78 version.
Did you see the collection?
Also, the gloves on display were not, in my opinion, from Enter.
They had a sign on the white part that covers the wrist, and in Enter, Bruce's didn't have this mark, but I did see the original on display on Google.

Hey great video and great magazine collection.hey that's a good rare bruce lee enter the dragon figure in the back in the middle.an that photo with bruce lee blocking chuck norris kick a great one I had to get that on ebay.i had to hang that on wall.u used to have like 4 bruce lee posters grown up.and yes I think bruce lee underrated actor and I think his expressions,real fighting ,emotions and how he was and more things made him great in films.since 1998 been Bruce guy.when used draw pictures of bruce lee in my kid and teen years.i watch one if his movies watch videos or look at UA-cam videos every week.hes fascinating.and some of my favorite fighting video game characters are feilong,law,lui kang and more I play with them alot cuz they really supposed to be bruce lee especially feilong and law.

Terrell there is no-one in my eyes close to the level or screen presence the Bruce Lee has. And my top 5 favorite MA films are ETD, CC, WOD, FOF and a Warriors Journey! The Ip Man movies are done well also!

My dad took my family down to LA for the premiere of Enter the Dragon, and it was crazy! I also met Norman Borine at his museum some years later, when Grace Lee visited. Lots of history...I could tell you stories... ;-)

As I Watch another Masterpiece Episode of your Bruce Lee family Channel. You Both Visit New York Chinatown to buy anything you can get you hands on. Just to name a few magazine or Posters. And even
Golden Movie News.
Brings back many memories, because I also did the same thing. Every Saturday I would go on the The Hunt to go and buy anything on Bruce Lee Chinese , English any language , as long as he was on the front cover. Fighting Stars was one of my favorite magazines , Inside Kung Fu, and Black Belt magazines, Tommy Kay's karate book. Karate illustrated. And many others.
I was also blown away the very first time I saw Bruce as " Kato " on the Green Hornet TV Series 1966-1967. On Friday night at 7:30 pm on channel 7.
I was 12 years old back then.
The very First Gung Fu Movie, I ever saw was 5 Fingers of Death. Then Lady Kung Fu. Then Bruce Lee's Fists of Fury in the USA. Then came The Chinese Connection ( Aka Fists of Fury ). To me I was hooked the first time I saw him as Kato on the green hornet TV series.
John and Charles when I lived in the Bronx NY. I did the Same as you guys.
I feel that your Bruce Lee's Channel , that we are all Brothers to keep and maintain Bruce Lee's Legacy Alive.
I was very Lucky in 1985, you mentioned Norman Borine. He was a wonderful man. It was an Honor to met him. I believe Hector Martinez was at this same show too. I met Norman Borine him at that Show, it was at The Beacon Theater in Manhattan. With him was Bruce Lee Mom "Grace Ho Lee "and also there was Martial Artists " Eric Lee." Host of the Show was Actor " Steve James. "
