Recently bought some recommended stocks and now they are just penny stocks. There seems to be more negative portfolios in the last 3rd half of 2023 with markets tumbling, soaring inflation, and banks going out of business. My concern is how can the rapid interest-rate hike be of favor to a value investor, or is it better avoiding stocks for a while?
Just ''buy the dip'' man. In the long term it will payoff. High interest rates usually mean lower stock prices, however investors should be cautious of the bull run, its best you connect with a well-qualified adviser to meet your growth goals and avoid blunder
It's often true that people underestimate the importance of financial advisors until they feel the negative effects of emotional decision-making. I remember a few summers ago, after a tough divorce, when I needed a boost for my struggling business. I researched and found a licensed advisor who diligently helped grow my reserves despite inflation. Consequently, my reserves increased from $275k to around $750k.
My partner’s been considering going the same route, could you share more info please on the advisor that guides you?
Finding financial advisors like Melissa Terri Swayne who can assist you shape your portfolio would be a very creative option. There will be difficult times ahead, and prudent personal money management will be essential to navigating them.
Thanks for sharing, I just looked her up on the web and I would say she really has an impressive background in investing. I will write her an e-mail shortly.
Kept $105k in CIT Bank HYSA at 5.05% but i now plan to invest in the stock market. What are your thoughts on that? What stocks should I look out for as a newbie to safely grow my money?
Its best if you buy growth/blue-chip/large caps stocks only. Also, as a newbie it’s advisable you work with a financial coach to help set up a well-structured portfolio.
Apt!! I was self-managing my portfolio but suffered heavy losses in 2022 and i knew i couldn't continue like that, so i consulted a fiduciary advisor. By restructuring and diversifying my $1.2M portfolio with dividend-paying stocks, ETFs, Mutual funds and REITs, I significantly boosted my portfolio, achieving an annualized gain of 28%.
Impressive! How can I contact this expêrt? My pørtfolio isnt doing well, and I need guidance.
I don't comfortably throw recommendations around on the internet, but I've been working with Camille Anne Hector. God ! she's brilliant! I'm sure there are others who are good.
Thanks for sharing. I curiously searched for her full name and her website popped up. looked through her credentials and did my due diligence before contacting her. Once again many thanks.
Good stuff man I love your analysis and personality been watching for a bit now you’ve helped a lot 😊
Glad to hear it!AP

I think I'd leave out the word quality when speaking about Ferrari. My 599 threw codes every time the wind changed direction and the leather shrinkage is a nightmare! Other than those it was a fun car to drive.
You paid for status not reliability 😊

Can I recommend a few companies for a future videos...
Sony (52 week low) and
Fiverr (Covid big hitter but come back to earth, what is the future?)
Absolutely love some Google, I see absolutely great things for them going forward.
Totally agree! - GC
you should look at the track record and history of FDA and there recommendations! Also look at what FDA says is okay compared to Europe?

6 - 8 cokes a day, Paul? Worried about your health... what's the point of being such a good investor if you don't live long. Then again, Warren drinks that much and still healthy.
I doubt that Buffett regularly drinks and eats in large amounts what he says in public. Why would anybody believe Buffett on that?
@@valueinvestor8555 ok. I hear you
@@valueinvestor8555 I thought Buffet said he has one can of cherry coke per day? That's not a large amount.
Get your liver checked.
@@valueinvestor8555 definitely i never bought that...big conflict of interests, and advertising coke is free and he owns it so..
Well, I thought you were drawing something meaner than a middle finger 🤣

Caterpillar and John Deere? valuations?

you said sell puts 3 months ago at $135??? Me so confused?

Hi Paul, i noticed your "chasing googly-moogly" stock. I know you are far more experienced than I will ever be, but I wanted to share with you my approach to great companies. Instead of chasing googly all the time, just close your eyes and press the trigger. (a few pieces of stock are enough for the start). It doesn't matter what the current price is. In the end, you will be incredibly glad that you started, and that you own such a great company. Your second advantage will be that you can always buy more when the price drops below your average. It's a win-win. Chasing 5-10 dollars (5-10% sale) really doesn't make sense, you're investing for tens of years anyway.
You could be right , but that's his process , he prefers to sell puts and get assigned instead of just buying it outright .AP
Buying Race is like buying the best CD player when the iPod just released
if race is the Best CD Player, what does the Ipod represent, sorry I cannot work it out
@@Optimised7 it's like buying the best crossbow for battle but the gun was just invented ...as an extreme example
More like buying the best vinyl player....CD, mp3 or any new technology cannot replicate that original sound 😉 - GC
I bought Pepsi recently because it was on a nice sale like it was 2016 again.. coke has inflated more than any product.. it sucks. But I'd rather drink from the river than finish the Pepsis I bought.
MOAT ! Nice video. But don't jump INTO the moat!
Why not? - GC

Absolutely - GC
Damn Google !! What a wonderful act by Pepsi Cola
I like drinking Pepsi but investing in Coca Cola

drinking pop is ok because smoking cigarettes is bad. Lol You're great at stock analysis, not quite as good at health and wellness advice.
No one said that....no comparison between smoking and pop was made.....try listening it again 😉- GC

Moat the Goat lol Yikes that P/E ratio on RACE lol Don't get emoational lol

I would argue that Ferrari is not a moat. The Ford GT and Lamborgini made movies how their supercars were built to compete with Ferrari. A couple years ago, GM introduced the C8 Corvette supercar which blows the Ferrari F8 out of the water. The C8 does 0-60 in 2.6 seconds, while the F8 does 0-60 in 2.9 seconds, the C8 looks like a better supercar, and at a quarter of the price---the C8s start at $69K vs $284K for an F8. Ferrari's P/E is 80 vs GM's P/E of 5. It's even twice the P/E of Tesla. If you want a moat, the C8 is a moat because no one else can build a supercar like that for the price. Ferrari is just hype stock. The Tesla 3 Performance trim also does 0-60 in 2.9 for $55K, but it's in a different category though and the body looks horrible.
Don’t agree with you with Walmart’s example. Walmart is a price leader.

I had to spend 2 nights in a hospital after a surgery. In the dead of night I sneaked downstairs to a vending machine to get a Coke. One of the nurses threw a fit when she saw it in my room. She gave me a long lecture about how soda is bad for me. I know that, but was it really the biggest health emergency happening in the hospital at 3AM?
Good stuff - GC
I didn’t get it…. Maybe If you draw it again and put a little more effort in your castle. Come on Paul!! 😂

6-8 cokes a day ? No wonder Paul doesn’t sleep a second

Why do I think Coke has a moat because I take 6-8 coke zeroes a day😅😹
lol amazing analysis 🤣🤣
Do you think COKE is not a moat? - GC
You’re losing me Paul on the Ferrari thesis.

When Jay Leno refuses to buy a Ferrari because of their stupid policy thats when you know there is no moat. there a very few people in the world who 1- can afford a Ferrari and 2 Justify the cost and 3 actually want one and 4 actually will go through the BS process of having to buy used first .
Nice one - GC
What about SNOW
Thanks for the suggestion - GC
Pepsi max is nicer lol😂 of course they don’t want it
pepsi > coke
Snacks can be replaced by super markets‘ own brands. Cheetos, Lays, Doritos,…. do not have that big brand loyalty. Here I see a problem for Pepsico. Therefore in brand recognition Coke is unbeatable.
@@DaExxorzist There's a huge brand loyalty to these products and pepsi, lmao just because you love coke doesn't mean you have to lead misinformation about other companies, but you can also say the exact same thing about Coke...
@@DaExxorzist Pepsi 91B revenue, Coke, 46b revenue 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@jasonrobinson_ most of the revenue of Pepsico comes from snacks. I can tell from Europe, where coke in most countries is a lot more popular. Lays, Cheetos, Durritos are more and more replaced by organic quality made snacks or supermarkets own brands for the cheaper orientated customers. Snacks are easily replaceable.
With a brand value of over 33 billion U.S. dollars, Coca-Cola was by far the most valuable non-alcoholic beverage brand in the world in 2023. Pepsi ranked second that year, with a value of around 18 billion U.S. dollars.

Daily click bait video. EM should reveal their portfolio of what and % they own. Maybe at least to the subscribers of their paid site. That way there can be a little bit more accountability and trust. Otherwise the daily video to gain clicks and revenue from youtube channel grows tired. Seem like descent guys but in my mind your making more $ on these videos then on the market.
