Infiray P2 Pro: see the heat

My Christmas present was this Infieay P2 Pro plug-in thermal camera for mobile phones. It turns a regular phone into a thermal camera which is small enough to be easily carries around. This model has a fairly good resolution and a 25Hz refresh rate which makes it easy and quick to use. Plenty of features in the app to get started.

Try looking at a copper-surface, e.g. an uncoated copper-clad PCB. The metal works as a "mirror" - you can even see your own reflection in it, if you orient it correctly.
If you want to avoid this effect (e.g. to _measure_ that surface) you can stick on some PVC insulation-tape to temporarily increase the emissivity.

Thanks, I suspected the reflection, I can even see myself in glass surfaces or chrome plated objects (like door handles). The insulation tap is a good idea, I will try that.

Thanks, I live in Hungary. It was around 0 C when I filmed some of it, now it is a bit colder, but normal for winter.

Oh, I do. But sometimes I don't catch all the small details in editing that remains on the screen. Where was it? I can blur it our with some UA-cam edits.

Ja, sógoromnál például ezzel jöttünk rá hogy valami baj van a fűtési szelepekkel, mert néhány padlófűtési kör nem kapcsol be.

@@csongorvarga amúgy én a Fluke iSee tc01a hőkamerájával szemezek. Energetikai mérnökként foglalkozom épületek hőterkepezesevel, de ezek a mobilra/tabletre usb c -vel csatlakoztatható kamerak jóval olcsóbbak és még többet is tudnak. Az infiray is egy jó kínai márka sztem

@@ytgyuszko Mutattam én is egy haveromnak aki ingatlan értékbecslő. Neki talán nem, de műszaki embernek tényleg sokkal hasznosabb. Láttam amcsi videókat ahol ott még a fa szerkezetekben a vizesedést is nagyon jól ki lehet mutatni ezzel. Egyébként érdekelne is, hogy ablakok, keretek esetén milyen hőmérsékelet lefogadható? Mihez képest szokták mérni a belső szoba hőmérséklethez, vagy a külső hőmérséklethez? Nálunk 3 rétegű ablakok vannak, de a keretek egy kisebb cég készítette és nem tudom az mennyire jó.
