Like #5 Just woke up.. coffee in hand 🤚 Watching my first UA-cam video of the day... thanks for my morning fix .. love your videos.. Shout out to Thad the super dad .. and can’t forget G Man!!
Nice demonstration video. Cool little Rc buggy car. 👍 i happened to find one in a bargain store way cheaper. The ramp., there is a high gap on the beginning of the ramp. Maybe you could put a plastic flap correcting that. That way the buggy wont suffer going up the ramp. Just the way your driveway is. 🚗🚙🌎
Thanks for watching. These are good little buggies, especially if you upgrade the electronics. The stock radio isn’t great. I get a lot of interference with the stock radio/esc combo. We’ve gotten 42mph out of ours on 3s. That ramp was way too steep. It was meant for monster trucks but was all we had when we made the video. Please consider subscribing, we’d truly appreciate it
Hey Thad ! What a sweet little gem! Too bad about the cvd breaking so quickly. I think the landing of that jump at 7:41 of this video was where it may have broken the dogbone and overextended the servo arm maybe starting the damage inside the servo. It’s not anyones fault, but if you watch in frame by frame it lands on that front wheel while it’s fully cranked over. Kinda the perfect hit. That servo and servo saver should of done a better job, but the apparently hit its limit. I’ll bet that’s where the dogbone snapped too. Any way, I’ve had a few incidents where I’ve had hits like that. I’ll bet they’ll make good on it. Probably that big goofy looking bumper would of saved the day. As for the car… it’s a rocket 🚀. Great video as usual guys. You didn’t sugar coat anything, we all appreciate that!
I try to be up front and honest with these reviews. Amoril is taking care of the servo problem and they’re going to redesign the axles so they’re all the bigger diameter, and don’t shrink down in size on the ball ends, and then sending me a pair. You’re correct I think the bumper may have protected it, and I’ll be putting it on after contouring the foam a bit so it’s not so flat looking. Thanks for watching 😁
There must be an after market dogbone for the Amoril. I have been having the same issue with my WLtoys and Exceed cars. The stock ones suck. Great job with the video, its an awesome car.
Actually Rlaarlo/Amoril is redesigning the dog bones to be one single diameter vs stepped down on the ends . Should be much stronger and they’re going to send me a set to test as soon as they’re available
@@IowaBudgetRCBashers That's good news. The standard dogbones are garbage. Let us know how the new ones work out. This could really be a game changer. It seems like mine bend on hard landings or tumbles and the last time one snapped in 2 and twisted like a pretzel right at the tapered end.
@@IowaBudgetRCBashers Thanks for the sub. I totally appreciate it. I don't think I will post much for the next 3 or 4 weeks because of a broken arm. driving or wrenching on my cars is probably not a good idea at this time but I can watch a crap load of youtube rc video's and at least enjoy that. You have a great channel so I will try and stay tuned. 😀
i mean.. i'm in Texas so MAYBE that's why i just now had you in my feed. new sub. Great content! you notice how the tread is EXACTLY like the 2HO's on the Arrma Typhon? soo cool! "Crash n' Burn, now it's Dad's Turn!" oh my gosh my daughter just heard that with me.
Yeah, 3s is insane in there! That is a ton of power and torque to ask a tiny shaft to hold up to. I mean it has the same sized motor as my Granite Mega 550! I was kind of shocked it twisted it right off though snapping it one thing but it twisted that thing right off! Crazy fast though... No way my track will work with the 3s power!
We probably should’ve put tge front spoiler on and it would’ve been protected a bit more. Still a great car and they’re standing behind their product. Even doing a redesign on the shafts to one single size vs a step down.
@@IowaBudgetRCBashers The step down is very common in 8th and 10th scale but it is to allow for that extra bit of steering. These little guys do not suffer from lack of steering at all so beefing them up by removing that step down would be a better trade off.
With the included chargers it takes approximately 2-2-1/2 hours to charge fully. Your best bet is to get a cheap hobby grade balance charger. On the stock 2s 1800 mah batteries you get approximately 15-25 minutes run time
I expect issues with them to a point. I mean they’re still new in the market. Good thing is they’re taking customers feedback and improving things along the way and they’re replacing anything that needs to be replaced as well. My first Rlaarlo buggy had bad electronics, they sent me an entirely new car in 2 days and I got to keep the other one to use as parts or whatever I want. Can’t say enough about their customer service
Yeah my Rlaarlo broke one of the front and bent a rear. They are redesigning the dog bone and cvd to be all 1 thickness hopefully that solves the problem. Love this thing though 😁

this looks awesome great commentary on this
It’s fast, and fun. They’re taking care of the servo issue, and it comes with the new dog bones to fix that problem.

that thing is a rocket,really impressed 💪💪😀😀👍👍😎😎😎
On 3s it’s nearly uncontrollable, and a ton of fun. They’re sending us a new servo and I’ll replace the cvd with the part from their accessories kit 😁

@@IowaBudgetRCBashers and one more question what’s the best 2s batteries to buy?
My brand new HBX 16889A Pro is also making this annoying rear diff/drivetrain noise straight out of the box.
That stinks. I’d try to get a hold of hbx they’re really good with customer service
