This little truck was modeled after the 8th Nitro breathing beast, the Losi LST, after that came the Losi LST 2, then the Aftershock and others (they had mini lst2's & a Raminator mini truck too). These are not solid axle trucks so I don't call them real monster trucks but rather a race style truck. I'm currently looking & searching for all my ORV parts foe my part 2 video... If I can't find them all, I'll move to a different kit...

I kind of went crazy buying things for it and yet, still don't have all I wanted for it... As I typed to others here, this was modeled after the 8th scale, Nitro breathing, Team Losi LST.

Hey John... It's an old RTR for sure but packed a lot of features in such a small thing for it's time... Look up the 8th scale Team Losi LST that this thing was modeled after... Happy Holidays my friend.
@@madmustangrc214 Yeah man, we found out those Mini-T 2.0 bodies crack like egg shells (Trax-ass had that problem too back around the 2000s), ask Jason about it. Dude, your alright, I been here and not did much either.. I really cant wait to get out and Rally, run the 2.0's, do some drag racing, touring cars and maybe some off-roading too.
I have one of these here and I run it a lot when I first got it. It would chew through the batteries! I ended up putting a ton of aluminum upgrades on it when they were closing them out at Stormer hobbies and then the receiver went out and it sat around for a long time. I put in a new receiver and ESC in it and ran it once I think and it has been sitting ever since. I can't remember if there was an issue I parked it or what. I may need to revisit it and see if it is working and try and run it around. They were really cool cool trucks and look amazing.
Hey Addam.... Yeah man, go over it again when the Holidays are over... These little truck were ahead of their time back in 2007 with all the features they have and what they came with... After I put the insane 370 motors in mine, with the stock battery at first, I found out the diff gears are the weak point of the truck, even more so with a 2S lipo pack.. The Mini LST 2, had alloy (not steal, I don't think) ring & pinion gears (like the viscous gears) but are still no match for brushless power (steal would be best). The last set of Mini LST Viscous gears cost me @ $80 and that was in @ 2014.
@UncleBobsRC yeah, gonna have to get it out and see if everything is still functional. For some reason I feel like there was something not right about it when I messed with it last time but can't remember if I fixed it or just set it aside....
