What I like about the whole reaction scene is that it introduces people to genres of music that they otherwise wouldn’t have heard. I know hip hop is your thing but here you are really appreciating symphonic metal. Let’s face it, there’s a lot to appreciate! The video is next level, the song a work of genius performed by musicians at the top of their game.

I listened to this song many times by now, and it is one i like to listen to with my headphones or without, its really a good song, when i can do so to me.
Some say Floors voice is low in the mix, and i can agree its hard to get all words she
sing, but if you look at it soundwise it sounds amazing!! and after a listen or 2, you know most of lyrics, and its no problem at all, its done fully on purpose for the sound experince of it.. cant wait for rest of album!!
Yesterwynde is the opening track on new album, i belive its only like a intro, its a little over 2 min long, #2 on album then is a almost 10 min song, thats proberly another epic!! #3 is where i think they bring in a heavy track, and this Perfume of the timeless is #5.. so i think its gonna be a good mix of heavy songs, Epics, and maybe a full balled..
Perfume of the timeless, well its almonst a ghost energy song right, telling all these ancestors is perfume around in a timeless world, being around you still, also a message that your existens matters!! i feel tuomas also put in a little message that mankind could do better still, Einstein turn to ape..
The title of the album is a word made by band member Troy Donockley, which Holopainen describes as the feeling of time, history, memory, and being connected to past generation, who have "all had their lives, their ups and downs, and they don't exist anymore, except as atoms scattered all over the universe. And we're going to be in that state pretty soon as well. So that should give you something to think about."
Holopainen has described the album as being about humanism, history, and the inspiration thereof, and that outlook of the album is positive and optimistic ]

Those big ones won't hurt you - they only eat tiny fish that they swallow in big gulps then strain through their baleen filter in their mouth. No big teeth to eat you, lol
With the exception of the Sperm Whale (the 'sleeping' whale in the vertical position.... no baleen there, and a large number of sharp, conical teeth capable of tearing through a giant squid (their usual prey).
But they do not seem to view humans as prey, currently.... with the exception of Ahab and his ilk.

Another absolutely stunning new single plus video is "Aeterna" which is the first single from the lead singer of Epica, Simone Simons's forthcoming debut solo album. The song was written by Arjen Lucassen, (the brains behind Ayreon), and is sung from the point of view of a star about to go supernova whose atoms may then eventually become the stuff of life.
Simone now has the power of a million sopranos, I can't wait to experience that album plus the new Epica they're recording. And a collab between both Simone and Floor may now break the world in half (I hope they invite Floor for this year's live w/orchestra and choir shows... Super!)

I've watched about 2 dozen reactions to this masterpiece - a few have noticed the ties with Darwin and evolution, but so far you're the only one to state that "everything is connected" in some way. The common factor throughout is the sea, from which all life originated. The notion that this was seeded by elements contained in the untold number of meteors that fell millions of years ago is represented by the violent break, before closing on a somber note. Props for picking up on the "back to nature" cycle after death. A very nice analysis. Keep 'em coming.
I am admittedly a sucker for complex music and stunning videos - I strongly suggest that you give a watch/listen to the band I think most embodies the Nightwish combination of amazing audio and video to tell a story - "Visions Of Atlantis". I hav to say at first time when i watched this, i think at this is too weird . Then i watched a couple reactions of this, i starting to like this video and love this song. Now i have seen this multiple times and i say at this is the masterpiece!
Ok, I normally don’t do this, but could you react to SITTENVERFALL by BAAL? The music video was shot with literally no budget and pretty much nobody has ever heard of them, but since you always say, it‘s not about profit, you just want to explore new artists, I thought I‘d ask 😅
Some probability calculations:
Step 1. Probability of boy meeting girl: one in 20,000.
Step 2. Probability of same boy knocking up same girl: one in 2000.

Nightwish was my main musical addiction before I found Ren. Since they aren’t touring anymore (or at least for this album) I’m hoping they will make some more videos for their upcoming album.

Pull up the lyrics and a lot of the video makes sense then.
The only thing I don't like about this is. I feel Floor's vocal is to low and is getting lost in the production. The guitars are very thick and take up a lot of the mid frequency's. Where Floor's voice sits in the mix.
Love how epic this is. Just wish I could hear Floor's voice better.
It's mixed like this on purpose, Floor is a part of the choir, singing with the many ancestors.
