I absolutely love these coloring videos. They are so relaxing, and the chewing sounds are an added bonus. Keep up the great work, my friend! I look forward to each and every one of your videos!
Hey thanks so much Andrew, your comments are very encouraging, was not sure how this video would go over. Have a great week my friend and stay amazing...;)
Would that be the state of Michigan?....I was in Detroit back in 1974 when I was visiting a friend in Windsor Ontario. Thanks for commenting and for tuning in my friend....:)
Not really Holly, I own a condo that I lived in years ago then rented out for awhile but now I just record all my videos here. Thanks so much for commenting and for tuning in my friend....:)
I agree with you about tipping...especially in situations where I have multiple servers or it's something that doesn't really earn a tip like you said. 30% as an option on the touchpad is also astonishing for a basic service like pouring me a 12oz coffee...cheers Mark!
Thanks for commenting Cameron, I almost always tip but 15 percent is my max. A few times during Covid I tipped twenty percent as so many people were working shorthanded. But I have to draw the line sometimes at self serve places when I am providing pretty much my own service. I could not justify tipping 15 percent on an oil change, radiator flush and filter replacements. The bill was already around $200.00 and I was in that garage less than thirty minutes. Thanks for tuning in my friend.....:)
@jeremiahlozano8484 not if it's a Starbucks and they simply turn around to get coffee from a machine and then hand it to me that is their sole job in this instance. Now at a restaurant, keeping drinks topped off? Yes, I agree
As someone who works in the service industry, please, PLEASE don't tip less the bigger the bill. That's messed up. 12.20 an hour is starvation wage and that's what they make in Canada. Here in the states it can be as low as 3 bucks. The *restaurant* makes money from your big bill, not the server. And you may know this having been a chef, but in case you don't, server's owe to the house on every bill they have. The percentage is small but they still owe to tip out the back of house folks. So if you have a bill of $500, that server is paying out at least 10 bucks to the house. Say you only tip 10%, they've now made 40 dollars on that ginormous bill because they have to tip out 10 bucks to the house. Especially if the service is good. There's a reason places in the states reserve the right to add an automatic gratuity of 20% onto bills for parties of 6 or more. Sorry, but this is something I'm very passionate about. It's happened to me and coworkers. Bust our butts providing excellent service and giving massive parties a great experience and they've left us nothing because their bill was high. Well, stay home and cook. Don't go out to eat if you can't tip on par with a big bill.
Hello my friend, I hear what you are saying and I am more than willing to tip up to 15% for good service but I will not tip it I am serving myself. I also find it hard to tip %15 on a bill for an oil change that is over $200.00, especially as a pensioner. Tipping is really just subsidizing and maybe employers should pay their employees more. Tips also need to be earned and as I realize many people earn their tips some do not. I worked for 36 years in the same unionized facility and never once received a tip. Maybe you should consider another line of work. Thanks for tuning in....:)
Nah. Tips aren’t required or even necessary in some instances. I’ve worked in the service industry as well, and it’s still the truth. People shouldn’t have to “stay home and cook” if they don’t want to leave a ginormous tip. You chose the job you knew would pay poorly, sooooo that’s a personal problem.
and I'm off to bed once again, thanks Mark!
I hope you had a nice relaxing sleep Eoic...;)

Think about what you said, "somebody pouring me some coffee". Meaning that if somebody is doing you a service then they deserve some compensation? 😂

Can you read to us next time? Thx!

Who tips on an oil change? That's a new one. Um the problem is the employers, not the employees.
