How to clean and service your FELCO 4 pruning shears

What you'll need:
- A 14 mm wrench
- A 13 mm wrench
- A dry rag
- Scotch-Brite
- FELCO 990 grease
- Lubricating oil (sewing machine oil)
- FELCO 980 protective spray
Instructions:
1- Disassemble your tool
2- Clean all parts with a dry rag
3- Scrub each part carefully with scotch brite
4- Add FELCO 990 grease on to the counter blade
5- Reassemble your tool
6- Adjust your tool: Keep wrench 14 steady on the nut , and adjust the tool by tightening the bolt only with wrench 13
7- Add some lubricating oil
8- Sharpen your tool:
Place the sharpener while maintaining a 23-degree angle on the edge side of the blade and make circular motions from the base of the blade toward the tip.
Place the sharpener on the other side of the blade maintaining a 5-degree angle, to remove the burr
9- Spray FELCO 980 on to your tool
