As someone who’s fairly new to trail running I’ve really been enjoying your videos and learning more about ultras lately - thanks for putting these together!

"she may just be content to do the minimum required to win the women's race"
"content to do the minimum" isn't in Courtenay's vocabulary. Whether she's 1st or 5th, she'll only be satisfied with giving her 100%

Agreed, I just meant that if she is struggling to recover from such a big effort at WS, then maybe she’ll just race smart for the womens title, rather than chasing a CR or overall win. I know I couldn’t even finish 2 100milers in 3 weeks, but Courtney is built different so you’re probably right.

Thank you for your videos. They are great. I love sending them to my friends to get there interest in trail running sparked. It is worth noting that the hard rock 100 course alternates clockwise and counterclockwise every year. This can make a difference on course records and times, and should always be taken into consideration when discussing.

Yeah great point, I tried not to talk for too long about Hardrock times, for that reason. Thanks for watching and for sharing around, great to hear they’re helping spark interest in this great sport.

I wouldn’t miss it, such a great race, I can only dream of one day taking part, but very unlikely considering their lottery system.

Good video. Thank you for producing. Dylans freshness will play into his favour I think, yes, a bit of sandbagging going on, and Jeff (speaking from another 50+year old Ultra runner) legs must be tired. Courtney will run hard and fast until she either wins, or blows up. Her season is already cemented in glory, so nothing to lose this weekend. Should be another EPIC HardRock 100 thats for sure. Keep up your good work.

Just a heads up but the live stream will actually be on Run Steep Get High and not Aravaipa. It's still Jamil and gang but will just be on a slightly different youtube account

Avery Collins will podium for sure if not win. If Avery doesn’t blowup, he will be very difficult to beat in his backyard. Avery won Ouray 100 which is the most difficult Mountain 100 in the US. Side note he ran 10 miles off course the year he won the Ouray 100. Avery has an engine that as good if not better than anyone’s in HR. Can he keep from redlining is the only question. My $$$ is on Avery and Annie to win…

Good sir, I know you must be busy but I’ve been checking your channel to see if you will release a UTMB 2023 predictions…

Hey! Yeah it’s been a busy month so I’ve fallen behind with YT stuff. I actually should have a video up later today, not predictions, but another ‘History of’ video which has taken longer than expected. Then hoping to have preview/prediction videos up next week. Thanks for watching the channel, appreciate it!

j'espère que la transmission sera meilleure que la Westerne States, qui était d'une nullité totale

Unfortunately I think it will be similar. It’s not the race organisers fault though, from what I’m aware of, cell coverage is terrible in these remote areas.
