Nice one night stay with the Ultralight Zpack , seems cooling 👍👍. Standard procedure woke up with a good cup of fresh grind coffee for a good start up 😊 very enjoyable! 🤗 The minimalist ✌️
Hmmm.. I have to say, half the equipment seemed to be containers (cases, drawstring bags) for the OTHER half of the equipment! I wonder how much all those bags and cases weigh, alltogether? Also, the tent material was very transparent. It would not be very convenient for summer camping in higher latitudes, like Canada, UK, or Northern Europe, because bright daylight would wake you up about 3:45 am in months June and July. Wear a blindfold in bed, maybe?
Thanks for your comments. The pouches doesn’t weight much but useful in organising my stuff. The DCF tent material is indeed very thin but ultralight. May not suit certain climates such as the Nordic mountains. I didn’t weight this set up but for a bikepacking trip, this is not a major issue for me.
I got towards the end of this and saw you stuffing all the kit into that military style backpack and thought, will be good to see how you secure that to the back rack....and then you put it on your back!! How does that go for you?
Hi, I just place the backpack on the rear rack, using a strap to go round the pack and seat post, I also secure the pack handle to the saddle for stability. Thanks for watching
Riding your Brompton it must feel VERY light at the front and skittish without the weight of the touring bag on the front and all the weight on the back. Not a set up I would feel comfortable with nor do I use. The Brompton is so much better balanced and handles so much better with weight on the front.
Brompton plus ultralight camping - that theme is catching me every time! And your video is again well made with a great sound track - Thanks. At the beginning I was shouting out "Don't leave your Bromi outside again!" and then I was very relieved to see your Bromi has got its own shelter. (lol - don't take this comment too serious) Are these camping areas free to use or are they like a camping ground where you have to register und pay your overnight fee and get washrooms and kitchen areas and such? Anyways your video was the perfect start in my weekend. I'm looking forward to more to come.
Strictly speaking it’s a little reckless to leave a Brompton outside a tent overnight without any security. It was covered with a waterproof sheet so it gave me some assurance. The campsite is free of charge and permit must be obtained online from a government park website. We can do our cooking at the BBQ pits (chargeable) and there are public toilet with shower facilities nearby. Overall a pleasant experience. Cheers
Well done
Thank you very much
Aaaaah… life on a Brompton. Exquisit.
thank you for making these videos and sharing them! wow, i am so tempted to try!
Thanks . Go for it ! 😃
Backpack review in the dark😂😂😂😂😂😂
I have since sold the backpack in the video , thanks for watching
Awesome light weight camping gear! Last time I went scooter camping, I brought more gear than I needed. ✌️
If I have motor bike license I would bring tons of gears too 😁
More Brompton adventures please :D
Thank you, will try 😃
Hi, what color is your rucksack.
Great video. Kind regards John
Thank you very much John. It is like brownish?

Thank you 🙏
Wow, I have been trying to figure out how to do that for a long time. What is the strap that you got to tie the backpack to the seat?

Thanks for your comment and will take note of your pointer. This trip doesn’t cover long distance so it’s not too bad a ride.
The heavy backpack isn’t really secured at the rack.
True but if secured properly, it is fine for the distance i ride and road condition
how do you mount your flashlight on the handle?
I use a separate mounting which is meant for flashlight . It’s elastic and can’t strap a flashlight on the mount
@@donaldpang where did u buy it? Can share thr link? Thanks
