- Video showing flying operations from the flight deck of the world's largest aircraft carrier, USS Gerald R. Ford while serving in the Mediterranean.
As of 2nd Jan 2024, The Ford and her carrier strike group are now on their way home to the United States, having been on extended deployment lasting 245 days. The carrier has been successfully providing a deterrent to regional escalation following the conflict in Israel.

Glad they are on the way back home. USS Ford ARG should have been home before Thanksgiving, but it was extended due to the recent events.
The USA should not be over there. Our people should be protecting our homes.

@@RampantFury925 The trash flooding over the borders and the oceans into the USA. Also, the Navy and Air Force are the 1st line of defense and deterrence.
Originally, the USS Ford was in the med to discourage Russian aggression against NATO, then it was later tasked to discourage further aggression against Israel and US bases in the region. As many Europeans point-out the USA has no land mass within Europe and thus no real reason to be there.
@@willw8011 No, the first line of defence are ICE and the Border Patrol, if they actually did their jobs correctly.
