You look beautiful once again! This has been fun seeing all the different weekly costumes. Your mom seemed to be the ‘queen’ at costume and taught you well.
Dana, you’re truly so cute! Love the princess costume! What a fun time looking back at all of your costumes and how great that your mom participated! I dress up every year with my grandchildren. The delight on their faces makes my heart sing. This year I will be a witch! 🧙🏻 So fun! Have a beautiful day friend!! ❤️🥰👸🏼
Thanks for reading my tapestry question!!!! So helpful, you've helped me dive into crochet and make it a passion for me! Also if you watch Sister wives hope you watch 90 Day too😂
Such a fun video Dana! Loved the costume recap from your younger years! Your mom’s costume was AMAZING too! How fun! Always enjoy seeing your videos! See you in Mondays video! 🎃
You look amazing! So gorgeous! I love your past Halloween costumes! I’m old (49), but I did the same type of stuff when I was little, always something weird. My proudest was being a used toilet paper roll. I rolled up cardboard, wrote charmin diagonally all over it, wore it over my body with string attatched to keep it on my shoulders, then had toilet paper pieces coming out of my hat, sleeves, pants, etc. Lol! I was special. Happy Halloween! 🎃
Forensic files is definitely a comfort show I’ve seen all the episodes probably a hundred times I can’t watch the like spin offs because the voice is different but for me it stems from sleeping next to my late grandmother I use it to fall asleep when I can’t seem to fall asleep
I’m so glad I came upon your channel a few months ago. I love your costume. Can’t wait to see your cardigan. I want to make a sweater for myself, but I’m a little nervous about it. Have a great day!
Hi Dana! ❤ Love the costumes from your childhood. I'm wondering how old you are compared to me, I'm 32. The reason is because of your costume choices, nerds were never a costume choice when I was a kid lol. I watch UA-cam videos basically all day at work and have them on in the background. I'm not into true crime, I know very unpopular opinion. I will also listen to music while I work, if I need to focus more. Also your costume and hair this week, absolute perfection! I love princess and the frog, my 7 year old daughter and I watch it often! Thank you as always for all you do and all of the inspiration you give! ❤❤
These costumed crochet and chats have been so fun! Thanks for doing them! I don't understand how you can do your hair so well! I'm so bad at hair lol. It's funny because when I was maybe 4 I was snow white too even though my favorite was always Belle! My mom didn't dress up though. Hope you're having a fabulous day! Thanks again for a fun video to market prep to!
Omg your hair is on point again. I have changed my craft room/living room to.. stil not done I had to stop to do market prep. I have 7 markets in November 😮. Can't wait to see Monday's video. Thank you for the tip. I have creative blocks. I never thought to buy something new to motivate me.. stay awesome.
I actually just got into youtube. I never understood how others could be into youtube. I game and everything and never cared much for youtube unless it was a how to. That was until I started watching you, Camryn, and Genna. It's so funny because I was taught to crochet as a child and never thought to look up crochet vids. I watch sporadically now. I'm a SAHM and find myself watching when I can 😅
Happy Wednesday Dana. Your costume looks so cute! I completely agree with red heart. I just can’t touch it. The texture of it just makes me shiver lol it’s unfortunate because they have such great colors and the price is good 😅
Hi love!! I have loved this video. It’s so fun to learn more about you and your thoughts on things. I would be very interested in a tutorial on a granny square top!! You look great in this costume💗
I'd love a video about wearable tips! I'm just getting into wearables (was ami mainly before) so need all the tips for general wearable making! Love you videos!!
you look darling! I just went to New Orleans over the weekend for the Taylor Swift concert so I was totally thinking about The Princess and the Frog! I used your tutorial to make the Taylor crochet dress and it turned out it sooo well! I wore it to the concert and got tons of compliments! was fun to chat with people who knew what it was 💜🧡🤎
Pink Royal Vibes 🩷 I literally have a "Chill" music playlist with Birds of a Feather, Expresso & Houdini. Just got into new music the past few months. I'm usually listening to Prince, Motown or 80's music. Currently watching Bewitched✨ on UA-cam. I loved seeing your costumes over the years. I was Little Red Riding Hood for so many years, my coworkers were like Beth! Do something else! But my Mama made me the red cloak so it felt comfy.😅 Enjoy your Halloween 🎃 Dana. P.S. I see one of the witch hats made it to your froggy! 🐸
@keycaru don't forget Maria getting thrown in the mix. That show has so many disasters. Right now I need Daniel to leave Bianca cause she's triggering me lol
Loved your granny square top! It's super cute and I would definitely be interested in learning how to make something similar. I haven't made any wearables other than a shawl and have been waiting for a solid tutorial from someone I trust before I attempt it. I understand it would take so long to make a tutorial. I think you would certainly have a solid group that would tune in!
I would LOVE a tutorial or recipe for that granny square top you made. I feel you on the job part. I was genuinely hoping I could get this channel in a monetized and decent income space before I left the job I was feeling "meh" about. Last week and this escalated and now I'm just chomping at the bit to be able to leave. I even started looking at a few job postings in case it gets beyond tolerable.
If you guys like salmon, sushi bake is mine and my fiancés favorite! It’s super easy and it has become our go to when we’re tired from work or just don’t want to cook
I would love if you did a wearables basics video - like how you did your tapestry crochet video. I am so intimidated in making my own wearables, partially because I'm an XL. I never really know how to size up patterns bigger, so if you have tips on stuff like that, could make for a good video! Edit to say: if you make wearable tutorial videos with different sizing, that would be amazing!!
Another tip for anyone wanting to soften acrylic yarn is soak the project is hot water. Once it’s completely soaking wet add is several squeezes of some hair conditioner (fabric softener works too but I’ve found conditioner works best) and let it soak for 30 minutes to 2 hours then squeeze the water out of it and rinse it in warm water squeeze the water out then rinse it in cold water and lay flat on a towel, roll the towel up and step on the roll to get extra water out then lay on another towel till fully dry. Hope this helps! ❤️
@Red_3791 thank you for this idea! Do you unravel/unroll the yarn, or do you leave it skeined? I'm making a scarf for the first time with acrylic, caron SS, it is soft but was hoping it would be softer. Just wondering if I should pull it out and soak it or leave it on the skein. Thank you!
I already made a comment but you asked 😂 I would love if you would do a tutorial on your grannies square sweater!!! I followed your instructions on making the Taylor Swift dress ❤🧶 and you do explain everything very well 😊👍🏽
Ooh fun Halloween story: my family is BIG into horror. I dressed as the girl from the ring when I was 6! My cousin is terrified of clowns and my uncle has a great scary clown costume so we pranked him one Halloween by having a game night and at one point they told my cousin to go to the closet to grab the next game. While he was looking up on the shelf with the games, I was crouched behind the clothes in a clown costume. After he brought the game down, I jumped out and grabbed the game. I’ve never heard a man scream so shrill 😂
10:01 I bought myself the prym ergonomic hooks and literally would not but them till I knew I would like them lol. I feel guilty about spending money on myself
Thanks for the video and your time. Cute costume. I was wondering if you could recommend any courses on writing tapestry patterns? I'm thinking about writing patterns for tapestry and was hoping to find a course on creating and writing patterns. Thanks, Dana!
Love all your costumes this month!❤ I am curious have you ever heard of Furls crochet hooks? I use them and they are metal and have the nice grip that doesn’t add stress to your hands. Check them out!❤🧶
Really enjoy these videos especially when I need a boost in energy to keep going with a project! I know you probably did not mean anything by it but gypsy is a slur and derogatory term (and I believe you would better use Roma if you are in fact referring to Romani people and their culture); thought you would want to know!
Love these videos and your costume is so cute! Just a heads up, I think most people consider the word "gypsy" as offensive. I'm not Romani so I can't say for sure, but I just learned this recently myself and thought you might want to know.
@@ItsJennB I should’ve been more clear I was directly referencing the show ‘My Big Fat American Gypsy Wedding’ which was a show I used to love watching, I just couldn’t think of the full name of it! So sorry. You’re right, I should’ve specified!
As a fellow older girl who likes older Disney, I'm a Sleeping Beauty, Mulan, Pocahontas, Ariel lover and Rapunzel for the newer ones. Also I live in the same town with Honey Boo Boo and fam, please dont insult yourself like that lol
Also, Also I love trash TV and competition TV and true crime. True crime youtubers I love Annie Elise on 10 to Life and Danielle Kirsty. I also agree on the music stuff. I've been listening to mostly the same stuff for about 15 years. Sorry I have a lot to say today. Lol
love the costume. I will say I relate to you when you're talking about starting your crochet journey, I've been doing crochet for 18 years but due to school I only used caron and red heart. Now, with youtube I try to rotate what I am doing and using and also trying to always learn new stitches.
i want to add, if you havent heard of peter hollens or the hound and the fox, take a listen. I also have a cousin who writes music, her band used to be called Lovebettie but they now go by the name Willow hill. If you take a listen to her stuff I'd suggest to start with their song "whiskey or wine"
How is your hair so perfect all the time!!!! Today I am working on crocheting a dress. I wish I could show you pictures. Maybe when I finish it I’ll link my instagram in the comments if that’s okay with you. Thanks for the chat bestie I had fun as always. ❤
I never thought to buy something that would get me excited about crochet 🥹 I struggle with burnout often with doing markets back to back so this was helpful 🩷 [ going to do this with all things now

Thank you so much for the longer video 🫶🏽 I made goodie bags for a Halloween work event while I watched! 🥰 Your costume is ADORABLE today!! 💖

My favorite costume of yours yet!!!
New Orleans girly here so that movie has a special place in my heart! 💕

Bruh I will never stop thinking about Clint and Tracy
@@JennaIsOverIt omg they were a mess. The Michael/Sarah/Megan triangle is what rly got me into that show.

Loved all your costumes and I would love to watch a tutorial on the granny square top❤
I constantly watch UA-cam and occasionally listen to an audiobook. And I also hardly ever listen to music
I would LOVE a tutorial or recipe for that granny square top you made.

OMG that's my favorite look on you. So far and that says about because Marie was killer
I learnt the granny stitch from your Taylor Swift video! Still need to finish the dress but I really loved your tutorial ❤

@Red_3791 Oh, that makes sense! Thank you sooooo much, I appreciate it so much, really. I just started crocheting in February, so I'm still learning.
@ Np! There’s always something new to learn ☺️ and I love to help!
I seldom comment but i would really like a tutorial for your granny square sweater. I watch UA-cam videos daily while I crochet.
25:00 I started watching because of your Taylor Swift tutorial 🎉
