Edmundo Ros and his Orchestra - Recorded for Radio
A Programme of Latin American Dance Music recorded by the BBC in London, presented by Edmundo Ros. The announcements are in French and Edmundo himself can be heard at the beginning and end of the programme saying a few words in that language. Ros aficionado, Roy Clarke, tells me that this programme was probably made for broadcast in the the French-speaking part of Canada. I believe this recording was made in the early 1960s.

I always thought that the programmes from the BBC were better than the recordings especially in the later days.I
Personally though Trombones on many of the later recordings were not necessary and on Radio Edmundo was allowed to pick the Programmes..Just my view.
