    Humming makes sense. We know that loud singing activates the vagus nerve and that leads to all kinds of health including heart health and rhythms and gut health. So the man was activating his vagus nerve. Really we should all be singing every day ... properly. And you can combine other things with the singing as in what you sing about and how you feel and why ...

      I always like to read the comments under a video that I so appreciate, I was telling people about my great grandma and my grandma you sound just like her both of them they’re gone now they went to be with the Lord, but they taught me so much about health. There’s one thing that I will never go without unless they don’t have it anymore that is cod liver oil every day as kids lined up for my granny to give us a spoonful of it, we also took medical turpentine with sugar I think it was for pinworms I don’t even think people even check their children for that anymore I never hear about it anymore and then we had to take a spoonful of castor oil once a month and I don’t care what anybody says it doesn’t matter if you put in root beer orange juice it’s still taste horrible That’s one thing that I didn’t continue doing after I grew up, I can’t even wear lipstick because a lot of them have castor oil in it God bless you

    Its interesting and maybe the first time i've heard from a western doctor that nasal breathing and humming are effective for nitric oxide production. 3-4 months back i saw this video on youtube about how to prevent and reverse heart disease by ramdev (he is a very famous indian yoga guru) where he elaborates about 7 pranayam that involves nasal breathing, humming(called bhramari ) and meditation.

    Humming time is NOT 20 minutes nonstop, it is 3 or 4 nasal hums, followed by a 3 minute pause with normal quiet breathing. After 4 nasal hums the nitric oxide reserve is depleted and it takes 3 minutes of normal quiet breathing to restore. The cycle is repeated over course of 20 minutes. Humming tone is not 300 hz, it's 130-150 hz; the higher the frequency the less nitric oxide.

      Things I learned from my great great grandma, she used to chop up garlic and broccoli and most vegetables that you can eat raw, she said it increases the nutrition of them so we didn’t never cook our broccoli and I eat brown brussels sprouts without cooking them too and cabbage the red cabbage I like the core of the best, you have to let the garlic sit for I think it’s 10 to 15 minutes to produce more of that Allicin I think that’s how you spell that word, it’s kind of funny when I think back when I was a teenager I was still eating raw garlic and route onions that was my snack I’m not joking either that guys never seem to want to talk to me not many girls either, later in life my grandma told me that’s how we keep you away from the boys, and I believe her because when
      When I got older and my grandma had to talk with me you know how to talk the birds and the bees she tell me that if she approved at the boy I decided today that she would tell me a secret why the boys stayed away, needless to say I quit eating raw garlic and onions when I was around my soon to be but I didn’t know it and neither did he husband, I can’t wait I have a UA-cam channel I want to get off disability I’m getting stronger almost off the oxygen after that horrible virus
      I was really hard on them in the hospital trying to give me poison I told him I didn’t want those breathing treatments either I used to have them bring me hot tea I kept saying hot tea I need hot green tea I was so out of it I was hallucinating but that kept in my mind and then I don’t know why but I would have them get a clean washcloth with warm water and I would put it over my nose in my mouth and they had a hard time trying to get away from me I don’t know why I was doing that I felt like I was protecting myself from germs in the hospital again I was hallucinating so I don’t know if it helped but I do know that I was really doing it because once I started getting better they told me, God bless everyone who comes and raises comment

      The compound found in Moringa is an isothiocyanate, like sulphoraphane, and it has a lot of benefits but it is not sulphoraphane. Only broccoli and its sprouts contain sulphorpane. This fact was confirmed by Dr. Jed Fahey, from Johns Hopkins, one of the people who studies sulforaohane and its effects.

    My great grandma told me to hum and sing a lot, I had asthma as a child, needless to say I don’t have it anymore and I’m still humming singing and whistling while I work. I also had to eat beets growing up. I got Covid and was in the hospital in ICU for three months, I just turned 68 July of this year that picture of me is from last year. My great grandmother and my grandmother taught me so much, simple way to wash your face and oil of Olay the only things I ever use besides witch hazel to close my pores. They made their own soap out of goats milk, it really wasn’t oil of Olay that’s what they called it they made their own moisturizer, it was just white it wasn’t pink. Other things we had to do growing up every single day as kids add the lineup and take a spoonful of cod liver oil. It has natural occurring retinol beta-carotene vitamin D3 vitamin E in a little bit of vitamin K my skin is unbelievable I didn’t know all that was good for me now I know. You know I believe in listening to your elders my adult children won’t listen to me so I told him when you get sick call me And they do but they don’t take my advice but then they asked me how do I look so young and I tell him I don’t know what is wrong you know I truly believe they take my advice but they don’t let me know it because all three of my children two girls and one son all are very healthy, have beautiful skin never had stitches I don’t know why am so proud of that I promised myself because I had to have so many of them. A good sense of humor it really is true even crack myself up. I can actually cheer my own self up, the secret is when you’re alone in your home dance around like a child, if people only seen what I did half the time they would probably think I lost my mind but actually I am very sound of mind, and I know how to sprout broccoli I love broccoli sprouts and broccoli are my favorite vegetables I am so happy they made this video I don’t even know how I came across this I take trips to UA-cam land and if I like a comment somebody puts I Pokémon the face and go to their channel to see what videos they have saved most of them don’t have any but every once in a while I end up coming across A great video like this it wasn’t by following anybody I’m always watching things on Health but I do my own research to not just on UA-cam, I am very particular with any supplements I take they have to be organic and have Whole Foods sprouts Graham fruits and vegetables I actually knew the man who first made these vitamins but so the company his name is Jordan Rubin now he’s with Dr. Axe I really don’t care for that man I pray for Jordan all the time, and the reason I say that is because when Jordan Rubin had his garden of life vitamin Company he used to help a lot of people, he made his vitamins very affordable and no matter which vitamin you got they had probiotics in them digestive enzymes in them and whatever other supplement it took or spice to help it absorb he put in there, that’s why I use black pepper on everything and I put oregano in and avocado on so many things. I’ve been wanting to start a UA-cam channel on Health in my life story and things that happened to me and how I survive them and with the help of heavenly father in Jesus
    The Holy Spirit leads and guide me when I go on these little trips to UA-cam land I am homebound at the moment on oxygen I had to take speech therapy and physical therapy and occupational therapy when I fell from lack of oxygen I broke my right humerus bone in my arm, so I had to use my left hand when I was in the hospital and in physical therapy my hair was down to my rear end, I give my own bone broth the credit for that, another thing my grandma taught me to do, anyway I shouldn’t be giving away all my secrets I need to wait I have my UA-cam channel actually I wanna help people it’s not about money I mean don’t get me wrong I can use money because I’m on disability and I actually want to get off people think I’m crazy but I can’t draw disability and have a prosperous UA-cam channel about health at the same time so I’m gonna take a leap of faith and go with a UA-cam channel if you want to check out some of the things I’ll be having on my UA-cam channel just poke my face and I’ll bring you to all the different playlist I have a lot of amazing things there that I made public not private it’s going to be a better world when we all pitch in and help God bless you and God bless America

      It's hard to know, isn't it? Some people refer to middle C as C3, others as C4, depending on whether the first two notes of the piano are considered to be A0 and B0 before C1, or if they are notated as A1, B1, C1... Neither C3 nor C4 is 300Hz, though. 130Hz is close to C3. 261.63Hz is C4 and 300Hz is between D4 and D#4. C3 is comfortable for most men, I think, but as a lowish-voiced woman, it is at the very bottom of my range and many women would not be able to hit it.

      @@CarlRKing Yes, it's very interesting! I remember now that I also commented on Dr van Dyken's other video on humming with this very question. I had forgotten about it. When I hum 300Hz I can feel it in my nasal cavity. When I hum 130Hz it's way down in my boots. I also suspect the ideal note might be different for different people, depending on their build, vocal range, etc. Different types of voices (contralto, mezzo, soprano, etc.) go up into their head voice (and resonate in different parts of the skull) on different notes, so I suspect it might be a bit more complex than one frequency fits all ... but that's a guess :-)

    • @mattdunne5024
      @mattdunne5024 3 роки тому +3

      Middle C on a piano is 130.8, this is what the good doctor meant. As for precision, you want to hum at your own personal resonant frequency. Each person's anatomy is slightly different so it may be slightly below or above 130 Hz for you, but130 Hz is a good approximation to begin with. Experiment by varying the pitch slightly until you feel the maximum vibration for a given moderate amount of breath pressure. You can also experiment with the connectedness of your vocal chords to increase the resonance of the sound.

    • @agnidas5816
      @agnidas5816 3 роки тому

      That's not a very helpful bit of info. The name depends on your reference note and you won't even know which octave you are in. 300HZ is the useful name so that any one can find it on any instrument. Also your mi changes based on the scale or mode you are in. Why did you pick mi and not call it do ? why are you in c major ? there is no reference to even place your DO - so again the 300HZ metric is all it is.
