Not Your Average Summer Camps

Every summer, Children's Healthcare of Atlanta partners with Camp Twin Lakes to host camps for kids with unique medical and physical needs. The camps give attendees- kids with heart defects, missing limbs, transplanted organs, seizure disorders, craniofacial conditions, autism-a chance to feel “normal,” even if just for a week or a weekend.
The emotional electricity that surges through every activity station, cabin, talent show and meal just can’t be put into words. Challenges become triumphs, and acts of selflessness, courage and compassion are everywhere you turn.
