Craig, I applaud Coach Rhule’s decision to bring in Dana H. This shows that Coach Rhule is willing to make the tough decisions for the good of the team. Our offense has digressed to where a change was warranted. Hopefully, the Huskers can finish the season 8-4. GBR
Tough decision? Recruiting and retention was going to collapse if Satterfield remained as OC. "Shall I choose to employ my friends at the expense of the program?" should NEVER be a tough decision for a professional, particularly a professional who is accepting millions to do a job. If this is a tough decision for Rhule, he's the problem.
As an OSU fan, I am just happy that our games are back on Big Ten Network. Yes, OSU is the biggest brand but we've started off with BTN in 2007. Always have love for the Big Ten Network.
40 year Husker fanatic. When you play action pass and the RB is 6 yrds from the fake, you have major Major problems. This is not a blown play or once in a blue moon. This hrsht happens every other ply action.
No panic at Nebraska. Coach Rhule is being proactive. Does the change in OC feel a bit late? Somewhat. Will it produce at least one more win and a bowl game this season? Who knows… But I have to give Rhule credit for trying to fix the problems on offense. If he kept losing games and did nothing about it, people would have good reason to complain, but when the problem is fixed and the consistent winning returns, they’ll be folks complaining that Rhule took too long. ☠️🌽🎈
I think he can help out Nebraska the rest of this year. Whether enough to beat USC, we will have to see. If he stays to be Nebraska's OC longterm then I think Rhule should let him pick his assistants on the offensive side. I would want ppl that already understand my style of offense.
This is panic for sure. After what coach prime did and cigneti copied. Rhule no longer has 3 to 5 years. They made it look so easy that the pressure has turned up on Rhule immensely. He looks stressed and battered. Starting to remind me of Scott Frost 2.0. Lot of promises no wins!
When you initially hire people you hire the best you can. Ruhle knew Satterfield for some other reason. He is third highest OC in Big Ten. Why? Some other reason. Nebraska is a structural mess

These changes demonstrate Rhule commitment to win for NE.

He was a Defensive consultant at TCU.

USC and Nebraska two floundering Blue Bloods! Should be a doozy on Saturday!
