When you connected your mac mini to the mirror booth, did you rotate the orientation of the computer within the settings so that the entire screen in the mirror booth is filled? I went into the settings of my mac mini m1, and rotated the orientation to fill up the screen, and now when I touch the screen the cursor jumps to another place on the screen and heads in the opposite direction.
Yes we did. In the knowledge base we have a Touchbase touch driver. Which also has a calibration tool. Please reach out to support for help through the process
It is a wire that comes from the screen itself and you connect to the Mac mini. Please contact our 24/7 live support team directly at touchpix.com with any additional questions and to get you started.
Es posible usarlo con Windows ¿¿?¿ o solo recomiendas usarlo con Mac. Tengo exactamente el mismo PHOTOBOOTH pero con Windows. Ya me dirás cosas...Un saludo,
What makes me hesitant about this setup is I ran into an issue when we purchased a Touch Screen monitor for a Mac Mini and later learned that Mac doesn't support touch functions. We then discovered a website that sells a driver software to enable to the touch feature. So I also will ask if this is going to work the way he says unless he is leaving out the fact that they have some special software to get touch features.

@@juanc847Hello Juan. Can you give me a run down on the set up ( connections ) from windows to the Mac mini. I’ve bought a mirror booth and would like to use Touchpix. Since it’s what i prefer to use with my 360s Looking forward to your reply thank you.
@@lougravessr1215 Correct, the orientation is rotated 90 or 270 degrees(depending on the orientation of the screen). The printer is directly connected to the Mac via usb. Please contact our support team for more info.

what is that wire that you said is the “touch screen”
Thats the wire that comes from the screen itself. There are two, the HDMI and a USB one that is the touch screen.

You will need a controller to do this. Contact our support team to help you.
@@memorialstreamingservices6128 If its not a supported touch screen, you need indeed an extra software.
calibration is needed

What Mac mini version do I need?
Any mac made in 2018 or later is compatible
@@Touchpixwould love to see a video on converting the mirror booth to Mac Mini tutorial
Can i use a mac book pro? @Touchpix
@@cornelousgardner865 Yes, you can use a Macbook. It's less ideal than a Mac mini but it does the job
@@jytxs313 We do not have a video tutorial but the conversion is really simple since it's just swapping the machine.
