I should have started early building my stack, but I was lucky enough to find a 2022 Royal Tudor Beasts Lion of England 2 oz Silver Coin in direct fit capsule for $74
In all honesty I like the Tudor version looks better can't wait to see what the others in the series looks like
Nice video! These are gorgeous coins. I just bought several more from a stateside distributor, at a great price, because I was so impressed with the first ones I got. They ship in flips, and so I ordered caps from an outfit called OnFireGuy through Am azon, specifically for the 2ozt Queen's Beast series, and they are super-pristine. They have specific capsules for most coins; I recently bought a cap for a St. Gauden gold double eagle, and it also was a perfect fit. Not shilling for them, just thought it might be good to know - I am very happy with what I got, and I would not be pleased to have such beautiful coins in scratched up capsules. They were less than 2 bucks a piece, and meticulously shipped.

I think they're both lovely. Much more interesting than our Am. Silver Eagles.

Royal mint are notorious with there quality control ,it's well known in coin collecting 🥴
I got 40 of them. About all of them had damage. 21 had scratches and dings and gouges on the face or obverse. The rest had damage on the edges
They both look great but i must admit i like even more than thea's is the queen's beasts red dragon of Wales
I have both 2 oz and 10 oz version. The 10 oz is out of this world
Hi, thank you for another nice video of your new coins. Most capsules will show marks sadly. Try not to handle them especially if they are proof silver coins.
Good review , yes I've had some bad capsules on new gold proof coins... and as you say .. they look second hand , or random capsules they've found ... but I was told by somebody at the R.M that it's only me that's complaining ..." nobody else has had an issue" and that's why I won't be buying these silver bullion coins from the mint...
Nothing better then the original! New one is acceptable and I am a collector, although, smaller quantities this time around. Remember, these are bullion coins.. not every one is going to be perfect.. lets hope these are not [ the milk cows of england ] posing as lions again! I buy the coin, any capsule is bonus.
Do you know if they will do the whole series like they did with the Queens Beasts for the Tudor Beats? Like an entire set? Thanks in advance. I have the whole first series (Queens Beasts) and wanted to know if I should start collecting these or if its just the Lion they are doing and nothing else?
Thank you for your video and comments on this coin... I have hesitated to order it just because it does not look very appealing... something about the Lion's open mouth... not realistic to me... but if you think it does look better when you have it in your hand... well, I am debating... maybe I will order it. How do you think this series will play out if Queen Elizabeth passes on soon? Also it is good to see the comparison between the two lions... thank you for showing that.... As I live on an Island, I wonder about your channel name Islandstacker... Do you live in an Island? I am on Vancouver Island.
