Is there anything more inviting than a bundt cake on a cake stand??? 😋
🤔...A fudge cake. 🤷😉 This does look delicious though.
@@CatsPajamas23 Kevin is right about Little Debby. Her company made the Honey Bun. But if he really wants to try a delicious commercial snack cake, he should buy a TastyKake.
Such a pretty cake stand too! 😊
Really love seeing your pets. Glad you gave fruit to your wildlife
Kevin, I stumbled upon your channel by chance, and I was deeply impressed. Everything is so beautiful, calm, and peaceful. I think this is the dream of all humanity-to have this kind of lifestyle. Your videos are inspiring and teach us to care for others, treat nature with respect, and leave behind not ruin and emptiness, but a restored historical masterpiece and a fairytale-like garden.
Thank you for your wonderful videos.
Thank you. Kevin, for another year of wonderful videos ❤ Best wishes for even more success for your channel 🌟
Kevin, wishing you, Mr. Fox and all the precious fur babies a very Happy, Healthy and Prosperous New Year.
Beautiful life style and beautiful dinner room!
And I'm so happy to see you again, Kevin. Its like a warm hug and a comfort blanket rolled into one❤
I LOVE your home and the way you sort and tidy while you bake. It is inspiring and calming
I love your videos. They are the only ones that I actually watch all the way through without being on the computer at the same time. The deer - what a surprise! And then the cat peeking out to the right - that was unexpected. Since I have been watching you, I have bought the tongs you use, the spurtles, the egg piercer, and I just ordered the thermometer. I wish you had podcasts to discuss anything about your garden or cooking or cleaning. It would be so soothing. BTW the lady that does your filming is excellent. I just laughed at myself thinking how much I enjoy watching you clean. Happy New Year.
Yes. I would love to know how the gorgeous wood floors are finished/sealed.
😂😂 I bought the long handled dusting mop. Works great.
I’m always sad to take down my Christmas tree and decorations but there’s a time for everything. Thank you for a wonderful year Kevin. Happy new year!
So delighted to see the deer in your yard!!! Oh, isn't life beautiful at Kevin's house in upstate New York! So happy to be part of this wonderful life you've created for all of us! Geez, WE JUST LOVE CAKE AND SNOW, THE PETS AND YOU, KEVIN!!!
Thank you, Kevin! You are such an inspiration! Taking care of your home most certainly is a labor of love! That cake looks amazing, and I'll have to try it.
I think the Honey Bunns are still made! I believe they are fried in oil then glazed. I was thinking that to replicate the clear icing on the Honey Bunn, you pour the glaze on the cake while it is still hot or warm. The glaze will melt into the cake.
I appreciate how you don't throw away the spent decorations! Your garden will love the additions to it as compost and the wildlife will consume the fruit. 😊
You elevate homemaking to an art.
Honey Buns are still around! And, yes, they are still with the brand name Little Debbie. They are a favorite of my grandchildren. I just sent a message to them that I will be making a honey bun cake when they return!!😁 Thank you much for everything you share with us.
I absolutely love this UA-cam channel! Thank you for sharing this.🤩🙌💖
I definitely remember Little Debbie honey buns. They were so yummy and in those days I didn't need to watch my calories. I remember, too, my mom buying frozen honey buns from the freezer section at the grocery store years ago. She would put a couple of them on a baking sheet and put them in the oven for a few minutes. They were warm, soft, moist and the most delicious treat ever. I wonder if they might still be available and I just haven't seen them. I think this beautiful bundt cake will be a great substitute. Thanks Kevin
Taking Christmas decorations down is sad, but you are giving me motivation.
Oh my, you've resurrected memories of the Hostess Cherryapple Fruit Pies I used to buy on my walk home from high school in Winchester MA back in the late Sixties. I'm 72 years old now, but those sweet pies, bought for pennies back then, for me are unforgettable. Not everything we eat, or are, has got to be "healthy." Memories are healthy!
Happy New Year! To you and your family.
Oh Kevin, Today is coffee and cake!!!Thank you. It looks delicious. Well, we are ending the year together. 😊 A new year will be here in a few days and I am looking forward to watching your wonderful videos in 2025. I want to thank you for the opportunity to watch your videos of inspiration, the drives in NY, the furry children, recipes, designing, beautiful floral arrangements and much more. Let’s have a Happy New Year. 😊🎉❤ Ann
Wow, Kevin. Decorations down already. Your home is so brilliantly decorated. I absolutely love, love, love antiques. My Christmas decorations go up the day after Thanksgiving and remains until after my son's birthday on January 10th. It has now become our tradition for the past 33 years.
Happy New Year!!! Love the pets, I have four cats, rescued from the street and love them!!! About the Honey Bun snack I love them. I practically have one every day!!! They are really comforting!!!
Love 'hanging out' with you and your daily activities, while enjoying my tea..... Such a special treat learning new recipes! TY- Kevin!
Thank you Mr. Kevin for sharing Clover Hill with me. Such joy and peace it gives me. I live in a one bedroom apartment so you know how much I enjoy your house and property. Happy New Year and God bless you!
Kevin, I enjoyed hanging out with you today. We love Honey Buns here! The peace I derive from your videos is a blessing. I could almost smell the beautiful fragrance of the cake. Thank you for sharing your day.
Thank you for all the wonderful videos you posted in 2024. I enjoyed them all. Wishing you many blessings. ❤❤
You weren't kidding about wildlife visiting your property! You should put a wildlife cam out to see who else shows up. The cinnamon swirl Bundt cake looks delicious! Perfect for a little bit of a let down when Christmas is winding down. I believe the polite term for using a boxed cake mix is Semi-Homemade. Perfectly acceptable. Getting ready for a whole new year. I'm ready. Cute filming of the pets. They all look so happy. I'm training myself to clean my house from watching you make it look so easy. I think you have the right attitude. You just do it. I look forward to seeing what you will be making/creating in the new year. Thank you for the video. Take care and enjoy your Sunday. See you next time, or should I say next year.♥️🎄🐕🐈⬛🐈🎶🎵🦌🥂🥳🍰☕
Wonderful cake! You are so inspirational, Kevin! And you are right: cleaning is working out, is exercising.
Isn't it amazing how sad your home looks after the decorations come down? I leave my decorations up for several weeks then take them down gradually so l can give my spirits a chance to adjust. Have a great week.
Me too ❤
I feel it lifts my spirit to move forward and not look back. The lingering decorations in my home actually makes me sad. I’m with Kevin.
We leave our s up too. Nothing comes down before the Epiphany and then things come down gradually through the rest of January.
It's very relaxing and edicational watching your videos. You bring me into a whole different worls of elegant, and therapeutic domesticity, and conteplative lifestyle. Thank you. BTW: any cats out there? They might enjoy living in your house...
Me too❤
I didn't want to tell you but in the 80s I worked near Margaret's donuts in Toronto. I would get the honey buns fresh out of the oven before they were individually packaged and sent out. It was heaven every morning. I'm thinking of trying to recreate them. just finished a batch of pecan sticky buns so I am thinking of using that dough recipe.
Those towels are adorable! Love the wording on Avery's! Happy New Year all- may love, light and peace envelope us all 🫶🏻
Thank you, Kevin, for a wonderful 2024 with varying tips, creative recipes, and the local scenery. The recipes for finger foods came in super handy for holiday gatherings. Happy to see Avery, Goldie, and Binky in this episode. Happy New Year to you and your family. 😊
Here in Spain we leave everything up until Three Kings Day. 6 of January.
In Mexico we do that too! Happy and blessed New Year.
In Greece we do the same
My catholic mother always had our decorations up until then as well, and I’m in Los Angeles California, USA. I’m lucky if I get things put away before March 🤣🤣🤣. But I think I have about 20-25 boxes to do…😅
Very good idea to use cake mix, with the addition of fresh ingredients you get delicious cakes
The cake and coffee looked delicious! ❄️
Kevin, I hope the New Year will be the best yet for you, your dear family and lovely Lizeth and her loved ones. 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Thank you for another wonderful year of you sharing your life!!
That stag! Monarch of the Glen. What a beauty. Bet he loved that fruit. Thanks for being kind.
I do remember the honey bun and Little Debbie is still going strong. The tea towels are a great gift. Hope Goldie doesn’t feel left out. Happy New Year to all
I just love watching your channel. Really soothing and relaxing. Keep it going.
The honey bun cake brings back memories for me too! I use to live in Victoria BC and being a smaller town only had one bakery where they sold these buns. It was called the Chinese Bakery and they made the most wondrous buns! Inside a gooey honey coconuty goodness! I remember it well! Thanks for reminding me! And thanks for making your cake, may try this!! Looks very good! Thank you!!
Kevin. Watching ur videos is such a comfort to me. You are my kind of human. I love u friend, and appreciate your contribution to the many lives who need peace and serenity. Happy healthy new year to u and yours! Love Bon
You are such an inspiration for my New Year mantra: “No procrastination”. You are always organized and disciplined to complete your planned tasks and know how to take good care of yourself by having a reward (your tea / coffee time). Happy new year, Kevin!
So lovely to share your genteel lifestyle in your beautiful home. It reminds me of times gone by here in England.
Hello Kevin,
It’s me again
The 🐝 from Florida 🌴
I wish I could show you a picture of the Honey Bun Cake wich I just finished with the glaze
It came out sooooo…. Good
I’m 👀 forward to more delicious recipes from you
The very best wishes

I'm so glad!!!
Thank you very much for your wonderful videos. It is very calming, almost meditative, to watch how you look after your beautiful historic house. When I watch your videos, I forget all my worries.
Best wishes from Budapest,
Peter
I remember my mother making the Yellow Pound Cake recipe on the side of the Duncan Hines yellow cake mix box. It included oil and four eggs. I made it too when I first was married many years ago. It was a favorite in our family. Had to hide it from the cats. They loved it too! Happy New Year!
Duncan Hines. What’s the recipe?
Watching you beautifully perform the domestic arts is both my favorite hobby and the best therapy imaginable. Thanks, Kevin and Happy New Year to you, Mr Fox, Lizette, and all your human and furry family and friends.
I love every video. Kevin, you are always fun and interesting.🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
I know it was 7 days ago. But I am making the honey bun cake.
I love you calm explanation of how to cook.
I received your cookbook for Christmas 🥰. I hear your soothing voice as I read through it. Thanks for publishing!
Happy to hear you had a wonderful Christmas day hosted by good friends.
Nice for you to relax and enjoy the day.
Happy New Year.
Kevin, I never thought in a million years I would find it so comforting to watch someone do their post-Christmas cleaning! I always enjoy the snippets of video when your fur babies are included. 🧡 You are so diligent about composting. I did a search on your channel but a how to program did not come up on your channel. Have you done one? Thank you SO much for your wonderful videos. ✴
Happy New Year to you, Mr. Fox, Lizette, Avery, Goldie and Binkie! Thank you for your energy, recipes, and calm. May God bless you all mightily in 2025!
Even de chrimasting the house looks amazingly happy and something to look forward to with you.... Your infections smile and optimistic makes everything to be expected with happy anticipation..... Love ❤you for giving that feeling in these stressful times....
Your biggest Indian🇮🇳 fan....
Hello from Brasil! Happy new year to everyone ! God bless us!
Oh yes, I loved honeybuns. So delicious. You know, we leave our Christmas tree and decorations up until just after New Year, for good luck!
that cake looks FABULOUS 😀
And just like that, the wonderful Christmas season is over and the house is being redesigned again. We don't put up our Christmas tree until December 23rd or 24th and it stays up until January 6th. I love watching you clean the apartment. And when I'm frantically cleaning my house, I think of you and your calm manner and I try to do it well. Happy New Year to you and everyone you care about, especially health!
Your Honey Bun Cake reminds me of a cake I used to make in the 70's called Sock-it-to-me-Cake! I do not remember Honey Buns by Little Debbie, but I certainly know these flavors are quite pleasant together. Have a Happy New Year friend!
My friend loves honey buns. They aren’t always easy to find now. I’ll have to make this for him. He’ll appreciate it. Thanks Kevin!
Have to admit, I was surprised you took things down so quickly. As I was growing up, it was usually after New Year's Day that things got packed away. Personally, starting off with a tidied up house is refreshing. If the tree was live & not watered, the dropped needles tend to be a headache.
But ya gotta admit, the fragrance is almost worth it.
And removing fresh fruit used as decor, great idea.
Kevin: Thank you so much for inviting us into your home. It was such a lovely visit and I was particularly touched that you fed the wildlife. What a beautiful gesture. I do remember the honey cakes and they were only available in the bodega's. I loved them along with ring dings, yankee doodles and yodles. Have a blessed New Year to you, Mr Fox, Lizette and the fur babies.
I love watching you clean, bake, garden etc… very therapeutic. ❤ And the music is beautiful.
We never take down Christmas decorations ùntill 6th January, which is of course Little Christmas. And it always makes me sad!
Kevin, I de-Christmas'd too! The Wooden Tray that your contractor made is a beautiful addition to the table! It would be a great breakfast in bed for (2) also! You motivate me, and while I love putting all the decorations and trimmings on the house, it feels so good to put them away and clean after the holidays! Baking a Bundt always reminds me of you! Happy New Year my friend! David and I just love you and look forward to what you'll do in 2025! Little Debbie goodies were always a treat here in Chicagoland! The Peanut Butter Wafer Bars were my sons favorite! Great memories! The kitchen towels with your fur babies are adorable! Use them, don't save them for a special occasion! I learned from my Great Grandmother who "saved all her good things for a special occasion" that they missed their purpose, when she was gone they were all in their boxes waiting for a special occasion. Happy New Year!
Every single day in high school, I bought a honey bun. All that sugar probably shaved 2 years off my life but it was just as you described. What memories your episode evoked! Happy New Year!
Kevin, my dear friend, you just live in heaven!!
Having cake and coffee is the best. I really love the way you elevate it with beautiful tablewear. I believe you inspire people to live a more elegant life. I do enjoy your videos. Your home and property is so beautiful. Happy new year.
Soooo excited to make this today , I have all these ingredients on hand !! Thanks !
Thank you Kevin for a wonderful year of videos. So many delicious and inspiring recipes, trips to farm stands, and home keeping. Too many adventures to name. Your genteel lifestyle is what we need more of. Best wishes for the new year ahead and we all look forward to spending time with you. ❤
God bless all the energy you have. Have a wonderful new year….
Always love the little Debbie cakes and especially the honey buns. Thank you for sharing. I love watching and getting all your recipes and household hints. You are just a pleasure to watch. Here’s wishing you a very, very merry, happy blessed, and healthy new year.
Merci Kevin car si on vit dans un pays ou les choses ne sont pas accessibles facilement vous nous donnez le courage d'essayer. que le bonheur soit aupres de vous cette annee et toutes celles a venir.
Happy new year! It is so wonderful to watch your videos, thank you for hanging out with us viewers and inspiring us. It brings me so much peace and joy to look at what you share. Thank you.
It's always sad to take down Christmas. I do like to do a New Years decor as well. I do not remember the "Honey Bun" Little Debbie confection here on the west coast. Happy images of the wildlife eating the fruit❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE🎉
I *adore* you Kevin and I never watch one of your videos without feeling good during and afterwards. And I love to gussy up cake mixes and make unforgettable goodies. Thank you as always. 🇨🇦
It is our custom to setup our Christmas tree the 2nd weekend of December and there it stays until January 6th. The star atop our tree guides the three kings on their journey for Día de Los Reyes. Festivities include parades, special foods and placement of the 3 kings in the nativity. A special celebration.
Thank you for the gracious quality of your videos. ❤
Another wonderful video! I am glad to hear you had a wonderful Christmas! Happy New Year to you and Mr. Fox! ❤
I love seeing the wildlife in this video and beautiful snow. Thank you for feeding the wildlife ❤️ The cake looks scrumptious. If i may ask Where did you buy the Antique Silver coffee kettle/ pot? Very beautiful and elegant
I wish a close up of the cake slice was shown as I wanted to see how the swirls looked. I've noticed in other videos that close-ups aren't shown of the finished product. Would you consider showing more close-ups of the finished food product? It's nice to see. As always, fun video.
Thank you so much Kevin ,love for all of you there ,it was an amazing year with your créatifs vidéos ❤❤🎉
Merci pour votre raffinement et vos recette bonne fête de France
Thank you for another great video Kevin. We send our love from Staunton VA!!
Oh yes, it was Little Debbie's and sometimes you can chance upon one. Just love watching your warm videos. Thanks for those. Have a very Happy New Year 🥳
Another beautiful video! - it's so nice that you feed the wildlife in the winter - I am sure they appreciate it! I will be making that Hone Bun Cake - it looks wonderful!
Thank you for a wonderful year of gracious living Kevin. It has been an absolute delight spending time with you each week and I look forward to following you in 2025. Happy New Year!🎉🇨🇦❤️
My favorite honey buns were Morton's brand sold in the frozen foods section. It's a shame they are no longer made because they were so good warm from the oven. I've always had good luck with Southern Living recipes, so I'm looking forward to making this cake.
Thank you for the video!
Kevin, the tea towels with Avery and Binkey on them are so cute!! What a lovely idea and so practical! I enjoy your videos so much and am lobbying my husband to move to the Hudson Valley.... we live in Alberta now but have lived in West Virginia and Kentucky previously. Here's hoping 🤞! Happy New Year to you and Mr Fox and your sweet animals!
Thank you for sharing that cake. I am going to try it.
Happy Hogmany.
May the new year bring you joy and strength to get through what is to come
Me encantó el vídeo! Gracias.
The Tennessee based McKee Foods still produce Little Debbie products, including Honey Buns. They sometimes jump into my cart when I'm grocery shopping! LOL I really enjoy your videos... your demeanor is so pleasant. Best wishes from Missouri ❤
That cake looks delicious Kevin. The towels you received as a gift are beautiful. Thanks for including the fur babies. Leaving food out for the wild life is very important. I'd like to put all my Christmas decorations away but my husband likes to keep them up until old Christmas. I look forward to your next video.
WHAT IS "OLD CHRISTMAS"?
@@maggievickers1868 Jan 6th is when some countries used to celebrate Christmas. Some people believe it is the twelfth day of Christmas, there are many different beliefs about it.
Thank you kevin, I love your videos!
Thank you for a relaxing vlog. I will have to try the cake. Our youngest and I both like honeybuns. Our decor will be changing this week. You can still buy honeybuns at convenience stores and grocery stores. It's my guilty pleasure. Apples recently were tossed to our wood line for the wildlife. The squirrels love them.
