There are some lovely pages in this book. But I’m daunted by them all. I would love to know how to make scenes look as if they are underwater but I don’t know how.
Some of the pages have old style “hidden objects” on them. Only they are in context and therefore they work. The octopus with the sewing paraphernalia is a great example.
Can’t wait to see you work your magic on some of these K.

Oh I'm so glad you did a flip though of this. I had it pre ordered, but after seeing the pages (yes some are absolutely gorgeous) I dont think I want this book anymore. I've got too many other mythographics to color in yet that I havent even touched. My collection is growing faster than I can color! I think I need to take a break. I've got 4 others pre ordered that I do intent to keep, so I'll cancel this one tonight.

On the octopus page, you should color the fabric in a red plaid, and make the buttons all fancy. He's a sewing octopus!

Not a big fan of some of her other books, but there a quite a few nice illustrations in this one and I do love the theme! I appreciate the flip! I'm more of a Joseph Catimbang fan when it comes to the Mythographic books! 😁

There's a couple of pictures that had me kind of confused..she really mixes land and sea..so imaginative
I have struggled with identifying what some objects are in my coloring books as well. The worst part is when you just color it in and then afterwards you realize what it was lol!
