There is a specific angle that allows pika players to go straight up twice with their up b. I know of this because it’s a banned angle preset for the smashbox controller. Not positive but I think pika might make it. If the angle works for picnu then it’s prob an easy fix and you could just raise it lol.

I know this is super late but a small correction to your comment is that Pikachu's double up B isnt actually smashbox exclusive. It's just more consistent on there since its literally just a button combination. Esam has a video talking about it and even does it on a gc controller.
Maybe have Sonic wall jump after his second Spring Jump, which should be too high for even Mega Man to do. Hero is one of the only characters who can easily debunk Sonic. If we create lava ceilings, Sonic should air dodge at the end of every required wall jump. And maybe we should ban invincibility as well, so when Hero uses Zoom, he will get hit by the lava. Steve can easily debunk Sonic as well, but we must remember the challenge that only Steve CAN'T do.
I wonder if there's any character that is immune to this challenge. Lucas would be difficult because his projectile is too good to exploit, and his PK Freeze can make a big boom happen through walls.
Airborne side b with ness would make the all but one possible because of the angle if you made the tunnel small enough to make an up b unable to reach the switch, a wind section will be good because Lucas is faster than ness but not that fast, Lucas can’t wall jump and you could make the tunnel they need to climb tight so Lucas can’t up b off the wall then immediately up b

I think a One and Only for Palutena would be interesting, since she consistently has performed poorly in challenges, especially mobility-centric challenges. However, I could see you doing interesting things with her teleport and Explosive Flame. Another fun One And Only would be Steve, but he can't place blocks. He still has his other specials, so I don't imagine it would be too hard. I imagine his Elytra in particular will be a powerful tool.
Actually i think it could be kinda easy. The only hard part is that he can attack through walls. Just do the same trick used in this video (exept trought wall) and find something for ddd. All of the others characters who used attack could easily do another trick exept ddd. Kirby can't go high, be fast enough, don't have a projectile

Puff's shieldbreak would've been very entertaining tho. Showing the easiest path for everyone proves point he's making, but showing unique and clever ways to beat it does the same + makes it even more interesting to watch every character go through the trial
Steve like always doesn't give a damn and just blocks it, thogh for those who don't count blocks (like me) I bet he can use power minecart through the wind anyway. And Sephiroth gives even less of a damn, wins by repeatedly stabbing lava. Props for that. And props for the creativity of these stages. I'm warming up to these more because of the thought that goes into them rather than the actual challenge

I don't count Stefan the Blockhead using blocks as a success, I just count that cheating. I was thinking of the same thing you were. Going through the wind with a minecart but he can get up there without using a single block. When he does that, I can count him as a success. Btw, I hate Minecraft.

I think Yoshi is too easy. His excellent horizontal and vertical recovery already weeds out a lot of characters. That combined with his eggs rules out almost all of the cast. Then you just need to find the weakness of any remaining characters and exploit it.

Pichu takes dammage with its own moves, so technically he failed that Bu I get it, he's not taking dammage from the lava, but that still seems wierd that pichu's moves are allowed and not link bombs. Do you think you can make one where pichu stays at 0%?

I can't debunk this by getting Pikachu through however I can by saying at the beginning of the video you said this must be done without taking any damage and in your video Roy, Ike and Pichu all took damage. Roy and Ike can do it in different ways to avoid damage however Pichu cannot
You can abuse the lava to win as pikachu just keep running into the lava in the box to the far right also the little lava “c” box with the lever in it you can side b in there to activate it and win but it’s hard to do

I doubt he’d need the cart, his up-b goes pretty far pretty quickly, and can be done horizontally.
