My little sister always used to play this challenge, but I never understood what's so fun about it. You made that clearer for me! It's all about management of time, money and resources, and it sounds really stressful but very fulfilling if it goes to plan.
Ahh, I’m in the middle of the 100 baby challenge in Sims 3 - currently taking a break, but I think I was expecting baby 12 or 13, so I’ve got a ways to go. My whole family is doing it for fun, so we’re using some house rules: 1. one matriarch must birth all the babies, so we’re playing with Supernatural (even on normal lifespan, a fairy or vampire mother has a long, long time for baby producing, and we’re also trying for multiples as much as possible - that’s why I’m taking a break - sooo tired of kids’ music/kids’ tv). 2. We’re all playing in Lucky Palms, so one wishing well baby is allowed (if you get an evil child instead of a baby, they still count towards 100 babies, but you can’t use the wishing well again for a baby). You may also use the wishing well once for a baby father. 3. We’re also playing with Grim’s Manor, so babies made via Grimm with other women also count (which definitely helps up the number of people available to parent one’s babies). And 4. If you win big at the casino or at the wishing well, you may move to another house; otherwise you’re stuck upgrading the house you have, even if you make plenty of money from opportunities/artwork/books. Also, because I always like to have some sort of backstory for why my Sim is doing something, my matriarch has been chosen to repopulate the world with supernaturals, so now that she’s got her alchemy skill up, she’s hitting baby daddies with potions and hoping for supernatural infants! Lol, it’s a lot of fun! I hope more people watch your video and decide to give it a try in Sims 3! 😁😁😁
Holy guacamoly! Im going to do this! But i think that when im on C (if i dont have twins or triplets) im going to save Cricket, that little girl with a hella disfunctional family, i never played in lucky palms, so im doing it now!
I really like how professional you sounded throughout the video! I bought the sims 3 not to long ago but I haven't touched it because I have to optimize it so it can run on my PC. But so far I've been noticing the sims 3 has so many better aspects than the sims 4. Cool video BTW :)
I've been wanting to try this challenge in the Sims 3 since it is definitely my preferred Sims game, and this video was helpful! I'm on baby number 63 in my Sims 4 100 Baby Challenge. Looking forward to starting a Sims 3 save once I finish my Sims 4 one!
I just started this, I'm currently on baby number 4, 2 girls and 2 boys! So far all of them have gotten their toddler skills full! So far it's so much fun!
I dont know if this is againts the rules of the challenge, but Plumbots helped me alot in families, when i had 6 kids/toddlers in the family, the plumbot helped me to clean up, cook and repear
Oooh I'm not sure, but it sounds like it would be okay. You can have older sims help out with kids and chores so why not a robot who's part of the family? Haha go for it
You did an excellent job with this video. People are going to be trying this like crazy and having fun doing it. (No pun intended), I've never tried it before but have done the homeless challenge. Nice work! Cheers
My main concern with the 100 baby challenge is once you get past the early game, and you have a good, upgraded house, the gameplay gets tedious and you run out of bachelors. 😅
@@Rekowcski oh back then it was still so enjoyable! hadn't built my final house yet and i was still able to think of lore for the children while now i'm just on max effiency and stealing my adult childrens spouses
I tried the 100 baby challenge in Sims 4 and I quit around 20-25 babies in. I might try it for Sims 3... way too many rules for Sims 4 plus Sims 4 toddlers are like the pandemic babies/toddlers they are smarter, they don't sleep in cribs and they already know how to walk. Sims 3 toddlers seem more easy to care for than Sims 4.
Well, I was inspired and started trying to do the 100 baby challenge… Then my lady was only wanting to get married and wanting to see the same guy and she wouldn’t think of anything else, so I ended up not doing the baby challenge, but letting her marry her man and I guess I’m going to be playing a regular legacy family. You know what though, this is the most fun I’ve had playing Sims three in a long time. Maybe this legacy will go for many generations. Thanks for the inspiration! :-)
When I play the Sims 2 or 3... i tend to complete the wants of my sims, so I completely understand. I'm glad you're having fun! IF you ever try again, I suggest the "non-committal" trait, so they wont (probably) want to be married or anything like that. Have fun!
i have a question so the rulr is dont get a boy cause then the challenge is over?? but i see here comments that say they did get boys and continue. can someone help me with this i dont get it :(
I think im going to try and do it in TS4, im going to try and give it a chance, even if i said its a souless game... But i think im going to make the A-Z baby challenge instead....
I am legitimately so terrified to try the 100 baby challenge. I watched my college roommate / high school bestie do this challenge and was like 👀💦😱 The HORROR. At the time I was struggling keeping up with my regular families, let alone try to have ONE HUNDRED But if I do try… highkey leaning towards either alchemist or inventor for the matriarch’s money maker. Inventor is cute though since you can make your kids’ toys and I love that.
I have never play the 100 baby challenge but I always have thought that one Sim should give birth to 100 baby 😅 because of that I feel so bad for her and not playing this challenge. Now I know.
Question: How come is the menu in The Sims 3 gray rather than blue, and can I do the same for my Sims 3? Also I want to give this a try in The Sims 3, Sims 4 is starting to become more unstable and broken.
I’m sure the infant update broke my computer. We had to restore it from a back up after I tried ts4 update ( could also just be a weird coincidence that it happened ) 😂🤷♀️🤦♀️
Honestly, I've never understood the fun of this challenge. I don't see the point of just pushing babies out, aging them and throwing out of house asap - to me it kills the whole point of the sims xd. That being said, I think that sims 3 reigns supreme over sims 4 anyway 😅
I finally finished 100 baby challenge in sims 4. But guess what? My dumbass mind made me delete the save file. I thought I deleted some old files in game, but no.
