Terrific looking and functional, great space and comfort, reasonably priced for it's segment, great tech and safety features, plenty of power and a smooth ride! Thank you so much for this review. My wife and I just purchased a 2020 and will pick it up next week. Did not know about the head-up display or the mirror camera. I am looking forward to driving this Caddy!
Nice video! Enjoyed your review. I would just add one correction about the tow capacity. The 1000 lbs. tow capacity is for the 4 cylinder engine only. The V6 that you are testing here, has a tow capacity of 4000 lbs. At least that's what I have been coming up with in my research. Just a FYI for anybody who may be turned off of this vehicle because of the towing capacity figure. 4000 lbs. is much more in line with other vehicles in this size category.
Great review as always, Joe! Appreciate you, buddy! I’ll take a white Hyundai Palisade Limited. Side profile & tail lights are very similar. Same (if not more) tech. Lower price. Better warranty/fit/finish than this Traverse in a tuxedo imo.
Exterior is amazing, perfect mix of luxury and sport looking, major key is getting the interior more close to competing with the aviator. Or at least more aggressive engine options because the engine bay looks like there’s room for a lot more unless caddy is already working on that.
Joe, Cadillac is actually in business since 1902 not 1911. I'm old enough to remember their 50th anniversary when the "V" was put on the front and rear of the 1952 model in gold color to commemorate the anniversary.
I honestly prefer the interior design the XT6 has compared to the Lincoln aviator I hate tablet style infotainment screens!!!!! Both cars are very nice and both are worth the price tags the Cadillac and Lincoln just do it in different flavors!!!
I drove a 2020 XT six for three days loan to me from the Cadillac dealer on my CTS was being serviced at their shop. I absolutely love this car! The way it drove in the way it looked I loved it! So now I am considering buying one. I’m getting ready to watch this video and we’ll see if it changes my mind or not. Lol
this is not a nice Cadillac they should have put a twin turbo on there and competed with that Ford with a 400 horsepower and they should have put an amp on the stereo system and I'm agree with him about that opening in the whole issue to put up power charger in there I'll see why Cadillac sales are down and I'll make it over interesting products
I love the Cadillac brand, I've owned 3, but they NEED to step up their interior game with the new CT4,5 and Escalade, Lincoln is kicking ass with their interiors recently.
Raiti, I'm zonking the XT6 because it's Buick brother the Enclave Avenue is priced better, packaged better and wasn't an after thought. Love what Buick is doing these days!
Not going to lie, I do like this SUV. I like the design outside a lot more than the inside to be honest. With that being said, I would take the Lincoln Aviator even if it's a bit more expensive because that car does look very unique and expensive. The Aviator is around 80k very much loaded. I think it's worth it. I don't know what's the price for a loaded XT6 but like I said, I would pick the Aviator even if it's a bit more expensive. In the end it's all about personal preference like always.

Some cars may be "better" than other's, in the way that some clothes may be "better" than others, but at the end of the day, if one car looks better than the other, I'll take it. They all do what they're supposed to well, so it just comes down to the look that fits you best.

Khari Manzini I’m gonna have to “Zonk!” your silly comment. Everybody doesn’t want a complex eco-boosted, dual turbocharged engine especially as their daily driver/family hauler. Some people want simpler, refined, more reliable naturally aspirated engines like Xt6’s 3.6 which comes with a twin-clutch AWD system standard on Sport trims. Lincoln doesn’t offer a naturally aspirated V6 or V8.

Hi Joe 🙂. I've been looking at a 2021 AWD Sport XT6. Since it's been a year since you did this video, what's the chance of talking you into doing a video on the Sport for comparison? Doesn't look like I'll be getting my 2020 Shelby GT500 anytime soon 😩 since I need the room for 5 Chow Chows lol.
FYI. Add $625 and the towing package (FWD or RWD) and the car tows 4000 pounds (basically be larger cooling system and a hitch). I got that package. Also, the AWD has a much smoother ride. It's obvious. While I would have LOVED to get better gas mileage and pay less, that extra weight keeps rougher roads smoother (like adding weight to a pick-up). Plus the AWD adds value to the smoothness. Don't liken to the sales person. Try them both on a rough road. or ask any service adviser who tests them both. It's obvious...
The fun goes even further if you have members within the coming vibrant Cadillac XT6 community each one of them customize the interior of his/her Cadillac XT6 SUV and beyond as requested to be filfilled by Cadillac. Custom approved ammendments program issued by Cadillac, that is...
Maybe you can customize the padding-cushion pattern, or the carpeting look, are perhaps added an array of RGB illuminated trim interior decorative amenities, whatever lah...
I bought a new 2020 AWD Sport. The list price was $63K. In April, 2021, $10.5K off the sticker with $1500 off with conquest $$'s. Add my $2K GMCard savings plus another $2500 GM certificate that I had. So all in, about $15K off or $48K. Still, SPENDY! If I wanted a dealer demo (service loaner), those go for $12K-$12.5K off (less my GMCard and $2500 certificate). Those have from 1500-3500 miles (the dealer buys them for less and can pass on that savings). My point is, you better get a "great" deal or expect to get massively thumped. My guess is this will cost me $5K per year for the next three years. Or about $33K in 3 years from now. If the darn car didn't look so sexy, logic would have taken over and I would have bought the fugly Toyota Highlander for under my "great deal". While I liked the Kia 3 seat SUV, I just could not drive one down the road. One day....
Not so bad of a vehicle. I like the pearl white color on it but I’ll zonk the alloy wheels and put black rims on. $65k for it is a bit ridiculous but hey you can always get it used with a good price
Uh, there are two rear cameras; the one up top is displayed on the rear-view mirror. The standard back-up camera is exactly where you'd expect to see it, which is just above the license plate.

Very good point!
Really spruce it up!
It’s a nice car I saw it inside the Temecula mall. But it honestly looks like a 45k car. But the interior and exterior are gorgeous.
That is very true!
Cadillac always look good
lights lit up like Christmas tree
I love it
This dude had me using the word Zonk lol
That's awesome! You are not the first! ;-)
Please review more Cadillacs
Thought they would use the 335 hp V6 from the camero. Looks like they use the motor from the Buick Regal.
AGREED!
I had a SRX, traded after 17k miles. So many problems. I would never spend that much money again on a problem car.
Hurrah keeping analogue gauges. I am getting tired of fixing things not broken. How expensive is it to fix these digital displays.
Do the second row seats fold flat, or do they fold with a bit of slope?
I trust your opinion, please help out, which one to buy? Cadillac xt6 or Hyundai Palisade?
I really wish automakers would get rid of piano black. I have a little bit on my car and it always looks dirty. Cadillac has it all over the place.
Mmmm I’m a sucker for an Escalade but this is a perfect size and the same quality that the Escalade has. Hmmm
Uh, there are two rear cameras; the one up top is displayed on the rear-view mirror. The standard back-up camera is exactly where you'd expect to see it, which is just above the license plate.
Thanks for sharing your input and perspective! I really appreciate you watching!
