Here is the question I want answered by Tech. Great transfer portal class, I think their HS signing was good too. I'm not sure what their current roster numbers are, but every team can only have 105 players at the beginning of fall. Who are they cutting?
I think it will be a combination of processing done and some seeing the handwriting on the wall and leaving on their own. You will see more in the spring. Tech already has 14 transferring out, 16 coming in. Net is only +2 and that’s not counting seniors.
Well if you have trouble with nearby sec schools not wanting to schedule big XII schools the solution may be to go over the school's head. There are sponsored neutral site SEC vs ACC games the Aflac (and previously chic fil a) kick off classic one at Atlanta and one at Charlotte this year's was Georgia vs Clemson in ATL and Tennessee vs NC State and the conference commissioners very much are involved in who their conference's teams are in those games If a sponsor set up a similar set of Big XII vs SEC games at like say Jerry world and the Superdome you could basically have Sankey telling Texas and/or aTm that they are playing in this.
Why would SEC schools want to schedule Big 12 schools for football? They have nothing to gain. If they win, the big bad SEC is supposed to win. If they lose, they lost to a Big 12 school. No incentive for SEC teams to play games against Big 12 teams.
what's the story w/ so many AZ State players entering the portal? Certainly presents a cfp distraction. re: sec / b10 realignment - lesser programs will be relegated, living on borrowed time.
There’s no story? They didn’t lose any starters or second stringers and they’re all still practicing with the team throughout the CFP so what distraction?
Great show John! Thanks for the content!
Texas vs Arizona St in Atlanta is gonna be about 70-30 fan base in Texas favor

The league was also a trendsetter in unequal revenue sharing!

Meanwhile, in Chapel Hill…
You don't really have a Big 12 team in this tournament. You have Arizona St., a mid tier PAC 12 refugee. Embarrassing.
Based on this rationale, the Big 12 has Texas
You’re a clown.
@@BrianTruncali-k1yYou wish. Never again plebs. 😂😂😂
Look, Stupid, Arizona State IS a Big 12 team and there is no Pac 12.
