With the releases of »UNITED ALIVE« & »UNITED ALIVE IN MADRID« on Nuclear Blast, the band presents stunning audio and visuals of the epic tour. Every single solo, every spontaneous gesture, and every emotional encore of the PUMPKINS UNITED WORLD TOUR is evoked and made immortal. Band interviews and plenty of background material included. The artworks for the various formats were once again created by photographer and art designer Martin Häusler, who of course stuffed lots of previously unreleased live images into the 36-page booklet and high-end packaging.

The DVD/BLU-RAY »UNITED ALIVE« captures the phenomenal sets with recordings from Wacken in front of 75,000 metal heads , 14,000 fans in the Madrid arena, and topped off by the legendary gig at the Espaço das Américas in front of 8,000 fans in São Paulo. In total, there's over three hours of live material in stereo and premium 5.1 surround sound plus a movie compilation with the essentials of the concert’s LED content, all cartoon clips of Seth and Doc, further surprises, and the very personal 30-minute band interview about the past, present, and future.

I grew up listening to these guys in late 80s and now my son is watching videos of them on youtube and shares them with me.

It is not only the fantastic power of Kiske & Deris vocals without egos but also the harmony of the great 3 guitars accompanying with the high capability of Löble & Grosskopf..
Probably one of the best live performances I've ever seen..
It doesn't hurt that Iron Maiden gave everyone a blueprint of how this could work.
It's also worth noting that a band that was able to go from Kai Hansen to Kiske to Deris has been extremely fortunate with its vocalists :)

They seem to be playing, slightly below the pitch of the melody in the original though. I know that they like to play differently, live, otherwise it would be boring, but I much prefer the Riff on the studio version than this 1.
I've seen singers collaborate before, but never two from the same band, cooperating to make everything sound better. I can't believe I'd missed seeing this til now. Awesome.

* One of the best rock bassist in history. Markus Großkopf is fucking insane, mate. His lines are what brought that "happy" feeling since the beginning, and still he sound so fucking powerfull.

Deris and Kiske have badass voices, amazing show! I think Deris stands out for his stage presence, while Kiske hits higher and longer notes!
What I love from the pumpkin United’s tour is the translation of future world to I want out
I’ve always loved this band so much. It was just almost three years since the first time I had the opportunity to see them live in Bogotá, Colombia. I met the entire band in the airport where I was working by that time and had the opportunity to take pictures with every one of them. Andi and Kiske are reeeeeally kind and nice to the fans, even they joke around and they pose really good to give you a great and unforgettable pic!!!
