Sir , my father teaches in VIT , Vellore . Right now , I haven't given any exam and am currently in 12th class .
I may get a good rank in IIT-JEE Mains and advanced which might get me middle or low branches in old iits ( approx 5-10 k rank )
So , my question is
Shall I choose middle and low ( by popularity and placement records ) in IITs or Top NITs or study Computer Science at VIT Vellore , from my home comfortably?
( I also have a serious plan to give GMAT for MBA {because I like the things that are taught in MBA such as marketing , communication etc. } )
Please guide me , what shall I choose ?
In case your plan is MBA, go for IIT, it will add lot of value to your application. All the best, But remember "Hard work" no short cuts.

Sir mujhe round 1 me iit Madras civil mil raha tha or round 2 me iit Patna mathematics and computing mil raha hai jo ki meri pasand ki branch hai . But do din se main kafi depressed hu because maximum log bol rahe hai ki iit Madras ko freeze kardena chahiye tha mujhe or iit Patna se sikhne ko kam milega as compared to iit Madras although branch acchi nahi firbhi . But mujhe mathematics and computing branch me jana hai. Toh main kafi depressed hu ye sochkar ki iit Madras chhoot gaya ab mera kuch nhi hoga kiyunki maine branch toh sahi select kiya lekin college nahi jaha se placement hone ki probability bahaot minimum hai.
