Sir, you perfectly said, in our country students mindset is tuned in such a way they don't think beyond placement. I have seen engineers from top engineering collges who are working in IT industry as a delivry manager, operation support, testing etc. There are very less opportunity in research field. Students should go more into research field. Unless our country develop skills in research area India will not progress. This is also a fact that in India there are very few research institutions to name a few IISER, NISER, IISc, CBES, CMI, ISI...We don't see much inclination of students here. Fortunately or unfortunately most of the students pass out from these research institutes go abroad and persue research work in other countries.This is also a hard fact.
