I have a bunch of respect for Cornwell. Very few of their trucks cross my path. I hope they keep building up their made in USA business. tHanks for the video.
Me too....I've been gathering up old SK, Husky, and New Britain ratchets. You could signal an air raid is happening by spinning a few of those old classics. ( Seems like New Britain made ratchets for many brands ).
I would have to agree the flex had Snap-on heads get floppy over time every the one with the bolt get loos over time and just tighting the bolt dose not help there are other hacks but having detent is the way to go. Thanks for sharing
You'll get used to things getting floppy...give it a few years 😂...I would keep the Snap-on for the reason of having warranty access..if one dealer is gone you'll have options..it happens..sometimes we say I wish I would have kept that..
They keep saying you'll get used to stupid people and that hasn't happened yet so I'm not holding my breath on a floppy ratchet head 🤣🤣🤣 Thank you for watching my friend have a good weekend
Theo, welcome to the dark side. My goto 1/4 ratchet is the stubby from Cornwell. For 3/8" it's there long handle. Don't know how much you would use it. But Cornwells 27.5' 1/2" flex head. That is my go-to in 1/2" ordered their new 80 tooth. I can't wait to try it out.
Thank you lol. I definitely want the 1/4 stubby they come in to handy. I definitely check the Cornwell big boy out because when I work out of that cart it's for the bigger stuff outside lol ... thank you for watching my friend
@CountryMileGarage Theo it goes on sale about once a year or so. For around 150.oo. but that was before 2020. But ill keep an eye out if my rep has one on sale or a good repo.
Nice collection of ratchets. I want to get the 3/8 long handle flex head. Cornwell still sells a 30 tooth version. I prefer the ball detent with the divots over just having a pin. The Cornwell reminds me of my favorite Mac flex head with the red plastic handle. Mac discontinued that design unfortunately. It's tough to find a "low mileage" red handled ratchet on the used market. My current go to is a Craftsman Professional 3/8 flex head with black plastic handle. Reminds me of my Mac. If the Craftsman dies I won't get the same replacement tool.
Thank you M. I have some old Mac screwdrivers with the red hard handles and they are nice. No different as Snap-on hard handle screwdrivers and ratchets ... thank you for watching
@@CountryMileGarage I wasn't dissing the product I have some real crap tools but listening to that vid was boring as batshit. If you get paid for that it's probably worth 2 cents
Very cool collection of ratchets, Theo! 👍👍
Thank you Biggie and thank you for watching

Thank you very much and thank you for watching
Good old comfortable chrome handles, not all are equal,i still love the old tooth counts they just have classic sound to them
The newer Snap-on 80 series are hard to beat but these Cornwells are great to for a fraction of the cost ... thank you for watching Anthony

(They made a demo 30" ratchet, but Commissioner of Major League Baseball. Robert D. Manfred, Jr took it and would not give it back).

@@SuperRobraWhat do you want the guy to do jump up and down it’s a tool review lol
Cornwell Flex head had no detents and they get sloppy as s*** in the earlier models
I hear you detents or a adjustable screw to set it tighter is the way to go ... thank you for watching
I like them loose and floppy my car will just have the PIN no set screw no details
