Star wars fans are, for the most part, incapable of having fun. Its an unfortunate thing, and while the anomaly exists in other fandoms Ive never seen it quite as strong as it is with star wars. I can't believe a small jetpack has enough fuel and power to leave the planet and enter orbit. That's crazy to me. A few episodes earlier they were barely able to keep up with a giant bird, and were using up all their fuel.
True, but, it's different circumstance as well. The only one who failed to keep up was Paz, which makes sense as he's the heaviest and has the largest weapons/armor. On top of that, the Tribe could very well have had far fewer resources than the stolen fleet. We see one mando fly alongside din's ship to give him a salute in season one as well. Not to mention the clone wars, where Mandalorians in death watch traverse mandalore by jet back more often than their own feet by quite a landslide.

The mandos are lucky there wasn't any shields, AA guns, missle batteries or extra tie fighters at this very expensive top secret base. Also, what happened to the fighters in space?
While season 1 is probably my favorite overall and season 2 with Luke might be my favorite finale....This battle is the most epic moment so far in the whole series.
For me this was the infantry version of the Battle of Endor in RotJ. Everybody showed up, the villains had a well-earned ploy that almost defeated the heroes, and the battle had proper weight to it without being impossible to follow. Goodness I hope future SW films take notes from this finale as well as the others.
The only things I wish were different would be: I'd like to see a space battle with reinforcements from Boba, etc., and there should be way more Mandalorians assaulting the base. There were a few dozen at most. Should've been hundreds at minimum. All the clans should've arrived from across the galaxy - Rise of Skywalker moment.
i think its safe to say the Canon Mandalorians are now pretty close to matching their EU counterparts. please don't start a flamewar in the comments section
I just keep thinking about how the Old Republic Mandalorians would not even need to liberate their world because the Empire would never get a foothold.
I feel like a battle cry before the clash or more dialogue in the skirmishes would set the chaos and urgency of a final battle. It's do or die for both sides. A scattered factions fighting for a last chance to claim what they've lost vs a Imperial force that's never faced legendary warriors. The silence from the Mandalorians as they're tearing through waves troopers seems super one sided.
The one problem I had with this scene was just how far can their jet packs go?? Remember when the big bird thing snagged the kid and they all ran out of whatever powers their jet packs and yet here they are flying in from ORBIT without any one running empty?? Please explain??

DIVE!!!
"send everyone, I will hold them off!" this is the way
The mandos are lucky there wasn't any shields, AA guns, missle batteries or extra tie fighters at this very expensive top secret base. Also, what happened to the fighters in space?
While season 1 is probably my favorite overall and season 2 with Luke might be my favorite finale....This battle is the most epic moment so far in the whole series.
Say what you want to say about S3, but damn many of these scenes felt awesome
For me this was the infantry version of the Battle of Endor in RotJ. Everybody showed up, the villains had a well-earned ploy that almost defeated the heroes, and the battle had proper weight to it without being impossible to follow. Goodness I hope future SW films take notes from this finale as well as the others.
The only things I wish were different would be: I'd like to see a space battle with reinforcements from Boba, etc., and there should be way more Mandalorians assaulting the base. There were a few dozen at most. Should've been hundreds at minimum. All the clans should've arrived from across the galaxy - Rise of Skywalker moment.
this is like when you were kids and you mess with the wrong neighbourhood lol
Cue the aerial cavalry charge
You know you messed up when the mandos come to the fight
i think its safe to say the Canon Mandalorians are now pretty close to matching their EU counterparts.
please don't start a flamewar in the comments section
I just keep thinking about how the Old Republic Mandalorians would not even need to liberate their world because the Empire would never get a foothold.
She had such a badass charge, why couldn’t the just let Bo kill Gideon
